Vacation home rentals in British Isles

Sara & Chris are excellent hosts. The house is immaculate, super cosy, clean and warm. We felt completely at home. During our stay my 83 year old mother became very unwell with a chest infection. Sara and Chris were extremely accommodating and allowed us to continue our stay at very short notice. We were also given a late check out so we didn’t have to rush my mother to get her to the airport. A truly fantastic house with all the amenities, excellent location and breathtaking views!

A wonderful little hidden gem in north Devon Cornwall border. Annie is a wonderful host and her cottages and full of charm & the hot tub is a massive bonus after a long day walking or surfing. 6 friends and a dog, we went for some fresh air and peace and time to spend together and catch up. We did all of those things. The house was warm and comfortable. Beth had though of everything, and was very responsive if we had a question

Lovely place to stay, the host Paul is very lovely and helpful. The location is great, only 5-10 minute drive into town and a walkable distance to Fristal Beach. Would defo come again!

The property surpassed my expectations, it really felt like a home from home. It was the little things, like having a hairdryer, shower gel and hand soap. Being able to grab more towels and toilet roll when needed. The local shop was bigger than I expected, and there’s a clothing department which came in handy when we’d forgotten to pack something. The location was excellent for what I needed - visiting friends who live nearby and taking the train into Edinburgh to explore. James was excellent at communicating with me, and there was a handbook on how to use everything and what the expectations were. The beds were comfy (apart from one which unfortunately I chose to sleep in until check out day when I realised the other beds were so much softer!) and the bedding was clean. There was plenty of storage space in the wardrobes and drawers. The toilet was clean and the shower was warm with good water pressure. We had a lovely stay and I hope we were good first time guests.

This was a very comfortable place to stay for our family of 3. It is cozy and has everything you need. It is very walkable to Hamble restaurants and the river. It was a great Hampshire base for our visit with family. We would stay here again!

My family and I had a lovely couple of days. It was very peaceful, and the kids were able to play and explore. We enjoyed some lovely coastal walks and enjoy the countryside with the dogs. Would go back with pleasure

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay here. Absolutely nothing to complain about! Spot on and such a beautiful home. On arrival you even get a bottle of Prosecco. There’s little essentials already given to you like coffee, ice, towels, shampoo etc. I loved the stay and I 100% recommend if you are looking for a quiet break and stay. Our favourite was the luxury hot tub:)

Stunning location which was tranquil and impossible not to feel rested and rejuvenated. The park and grounds were immaculate and very well presented. We had an excellent stay, will very much recommend the place and much looking forward to returning.

We had a great time staying at Shorefield Country Park. Elisabeth's communication was great and the instructions of what to do when you arrive and also things to do whilst there (there were plenty of games to play) was clear to understand. The holiday home was as expected and very cosy. Wouldn't hesitate booking again with Elisabeth ! Thank you.

Fantastic caravan on a lovely quiet site, 5/10 minute walk to the beach and food outlet. Kerry was very helpful with clear instructions on arrival and contacted us if the caravan was ready earlier than 3 pm.

Thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at the cottage. Check in details Sophie provided in advance really helpful and clear. The cottage was beautiful! So many lovely touches that made it feel homely and special and the hot tub was a great addition. Would definitely recommend and come again.

My family and I were looking for a last minute half term break and we were very excited when we came across Alison's property and it really lived up to expectations. Situated perfectly in a lovely new development it is perfect for children with a large patch of grass in front of the property where the kids can play while parents watch from the amazing balcony. The house itself was immaculate inside and out and decorated like a show home. Everything about this property was absolutely perfect for what we needed as a family of 2 parents and 4 children ranging from 3 to 14 with extras such as family games and kids toys. Alison was a fantastic host, really friendly and responsive and even going out of her way to make sure we got the break that we wanted. Enjoyed 4 amazing nights and would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking of a break in the area and we will most certainly be making reservations for later in the year. Thanks again to Alison for making it all possible for us.

Absolutely gorgeous house. Such a beautiful and quiet area. The hot tub with the view of the mountains was so relaxing. I would recommend it for anyone who wants some peace and quiet in a beautiful location.

Lisa was an amazing host! She was incredibly responsive, always quick to answer any questions, and made the entire booking process smooth and stress-free. Her friendliness and hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The apartment was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

And excellent place to stay while enjoying Cromarty, the Black Isle, and Tain / Glen Morangie distillery. Modern and comfortable for a family. Would definitely stay there again.

We had the perfect weekend break at Maudie’s 💕 The accommodation is immaculately presented and beautifully clean throughout. It’s minimal and spacious and was very comfortable for the weekend - we particularly enjoyed the dining table located in the sunny window nook. The amount of glass throughout the property is beautiful as it offers an amazing view of the surrounding countryside. The village and beach are both super accessible and Maudie kindly provided some great recommendations and instructions - thank you! We will absolutely be back ❤️
