I have so many great things to say, so to keep it short I'll bullet point. - Great location/community - Private - Friendly and responsive hosts - Clear instructions and tour - Clean and comfortable - Felt very welcomed - Also a bonus of a cat that sounds like a sheep :) Planning to go again, later this year. Would highly recommend

We had such an amazing stay!!! Couldn’t recommend more, it was the perfect family getaway, hosts were brilliant, welcoming and very attentive with working the hot tub and bbq. Location is stunning and peaceful. The hut is cosy, warm and the beds were comfiest things I’ve ever slept in. Couldn’t have asked for better!

Perfect place for what we required. Stunning quiet area, lovely clean and cosy cabins and Andrew couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful.

We loved our stay at Joe's!! We'd recommend to anyone wanting a bit of a digital detox weekend. We don't live very far away at all, but this weekend felt like a complete removal of normal life as we were transported to a beautiful, calm and relaxing stay. The Shepherds Hut was super cosy and warm considering it was around 5 degrees outside over the weekend and colder at night. The sauna obviously was the star of the show for this reason too and one of the main reasons we booked this stay, it did not disappoint!! Lovely touches include the breakfast food in the fridge for the mornings & coffee, tea and hot chocolate all stocked. The privacy and space in the kitchen and bathroom. The walk out onto the public trail to take you into Lewes town centre, a gorgeous walk we'd 100% recommend. Joe was super friendly and available to help with anything we needed, couldn't have asked for any more from a host or stay! We'd love to come back in the summer!

Beautiful place to stay! Hut was very clean and warm! Hot tub was lovely however took about 5 bags to heat per night so recommend heating up with at least 4 hours! Duloe local town was lovely with a little community shop!

Sue's place was lovely, cozy and in a great location. The place was gorgeous and everything was clean. The fire was toasty and already lit when we arrived which was very welcoming. It was a very peaceful and relaxing stay with everything we needed, and we look forward to returning!

We had a brilliant time! If anything, the pictures don’t quite do it justice! We had really good instructions on how to access the property and it was all ready for us to use! The jacuzzi was amazing with beautiful views with the sheep as company! The hut was spotless and felt so lovely and cosy with everything you need for a short stay! There is an identical hut 15 metres away but the way it’s all laid out you wouldn’t know they were there when looking out at the view! Definitely recommend!!! Thank you Jeremy and Casey!

Had a lovely stay at John and Joan's cabin. Great location with some lovely walks onto the doorstep. Felt very rural but still within easy reach of the local amenities. Wood fired hot tub a real highlight! Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay. It's very close to town and an easy walk to the beach. It felt very private and the orientation of the windows and deck area made it very secluded with beautiful views. We would happily stay again.

The Shepherd’s Hut is simply fantastic. Cosy and clean with everything you need, it’s a lovely place to stay for a few days. The views are simply incredible and an amazing place to watch wildlife, especially in the morning. I stayed here with my young son as the perfect place to explore the North Norfolk Coast. He loved the hut so much that he played outside it for most of the first day and we didn’t leave. The hosts were incredibly responsive to any queries I had and it was lovely to meet them in person during our stay. All in all, a lovely place with amazing views and I will definitely be back.

Beautiful place, maybe a bit to relaxed as now I can't get back into work mode. Lovely out the way spotted an owl in flight and geese. Lovely hot tub. Beautiful space. Recommended to my daughter and son in law

Me and my wife had a fantastic stay! So peaceful, and the hot tub was amazing! Lucy had to go and pick her husband up due to a broken down vehicle but still found the time to set the tub up for us which we thoroughly enjoyed 😊 will definitely return in the future!

We had a wonderful couple of nights in Kenny's Hut and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and sounds of nature. The hot tub was ready to use on our arrival, a perfect way to relax after a busy day of packing and travelling. Lovely walk to Bolney wine estate, Clare provided clear instructions of how to get there. Thank you Clare for being an excellent host and sharing this lovely spot.

Another lovely stay at Shepherds Spy! Great little base from which to explore the local area, with great views. The accommodation is compact but perfectly equipped.

We stayed in Owl hut 2 with our dog Suki. The place was absolutely beautiful, the decor and little touches had been thought out so well; complimentary breakfast goods, any warm beverage you could wish for, pillow spray, luxury shower products and toiletries, even little shower caps if needed. The towels were also very soft and luxurious. There were dog treats, poo bags, feeding bowl and a cozy soft little towel for her muddy paws. The natural surroundings are just perfect for an escape back to nature. The outdoor chairs were dressed with soft cozy blankets and cushions, that looked so welcoming. We enjoyed a fire looking at the stars and relaxed with some wine chatting in comfort. The hut was warm and cozy, I’d brought extra blankets, but they weren’t needed as it retained heat really well. I would absolutely recommend this place as a place for sanctuary and relaxation. It’s worth every penny and provides what I would consider, a luxury retreat.

Nina was a great host, and I am thankful that she shared her lovely space with us! Would recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing break somewhere relaxing and different :)

We had a well needed 1 night short break here. The location was beautiful, safe for our dog to wander without us worrying about her running off! Beautiful scenery and was so private. The cabin was cosy and warm with everything we needed to relax and unwind! We arrived a little earlier than expected and after chatting to the very helpful lady at the village shop we took a little wander around the nearby castle before checking in. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with you, enjoying the views and taking in the first of the spring sunshine 🙂 thank you and your family for the hospitality and for sharing this stunning location with us 🙂

Perfect location for exploring tintagel and North Cornwall. Lovely accommodation with great hosts and I would highly recommend :)

Absolutely Perfect Stay! We had the most amazing weekend staying in Selina’s shepherd’s hut with my daughter and our puppy. From start to finish, everything was exceptional! Selina was an absolutely brilliant host—warm, welcoming, and thoughtful. The hut itself was beautifully designed, cozy, and had everything we needed, with lovely little touches like milk, wine, and snacks waiting for us. The property is stunning, with an adorable private garden and plenty of space to run and play—so secure and safe, which was perfect for both kids and dogs! The campfire setup was a fantastic addition, with everything provided for a perfect evening under the stars. Truly one of our best stays—we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend! ✨🔥🏡🐶

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin! We arrived and there was a bottle of prosseco and treats for our dog, All around it was amazing you had everything you needed Theyd just had a new hot tub when we came and it was so relaxing with a beautiful view! They are friendly and they care about their guests a lot! The garden is fenced off if you have 4 legged friend and its very secured, id 100% recommend this place to our friends and family 10/10 Thank you pam and adam
