Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in British Isles

This cottage was the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to local amenities and an easy distance from some great tourist spots, but also want to be out of the way too. The facilities are great, and the view out over the sea towards Rathlin Island is something else! Peter was very responsive and communicative as a host, with some good recommendations too.

Me and my partner had a lovely 2 night stay at Paul’s place. He is very quick to respond to messages and checking in to make sure everything was ok.Crog loft is very comfortable and relaxing with everything you need but not a great deal of space for clothes and luggage so be mindful if you’re not at good at packing light, like me. The sauna and hot tub are very relaxing. Word of warning if you’re planning on visiting Penbryn beach, make sure to take some change to pay (£5). We didn’t have any or a phone signal. We managed to get signal but the pay by phone app was not working and we tried the phone number on the machine which kept asking for a pin which was nowhere to be found. The location code would not work. After 45 minutes of trying & getting very frustrated we gave up and went back. Waste of a few hours with the travelling. Shame as it looks like a really beautiful place.

It is hard to describe this house in the few characters available. My family are Harry Potter super fans and this place was a wonderland. The moment you walk in the door there are so many things to look and enjoy, from movie items to the under stairs cupboard for Harry!!! We had the best time and knowing we were heading to Warner Bros Studio the next day we watched some HP movies to build the excitement. Everything the add shows is an accurate reflection of the property, some extras we enjoyed was the stocked kitchen with some useful food cooking items. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone visiting Watford for the HP experience.

Beams Cottage is stunning. The views across the bay are delightful. We spent most mornings sitting outside staring at the sea, the mountains and the little islands. Our 5 1/2 year old son loved looking for boats and birds. Stephanie & Jordan were fabulous hosts and provided helpful info to make our stay smooth. They provided great local recommendations and the house was stocked with lovely design oriented books and magazines about Scotland and Skye. The space itself is comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The beds were great, the bathrooms well-appointed, the kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room for a group of 3 to 4 to comfortably enjoy the space. Coming back after a day's adventures felt like returning home. Only slight quibble was how bright the loft was in the am. Little kiddos may arise early! The location is gorgeous, but fairly remote to many parts of the island. So be prepared to drive a bit. Happily, the drive to the main road is spectacular.

We had the most wonderful week at the Rocket House. James has created the most wonderfully welcoming and enjoyable space. The house was truly more beautiful than we anticipated. It had everything we needed. The amenities were functional and well-appointed. The whole house was well-suited for our needs and was incredibly livable. My favorite part was the windows. If I have to clean up from dinner, the view made it so much more enjoyable. Additionally, the house was spotless and easily accessible. Check-in and check-out were super easy. Also, learning about the history of the house made it more meaningful to discover the specialness of the location and the house's origins. I CANNOT say enough good things about the location. The SW Coast Path is literally just outside the door. The views were stunning. Working with James was a joy. He was communicative, informative, and accommodating. I have already sent this listing to multiple friends!

We have had a lovely stay at the boathouse which was just amazing! The boat house its self is beautiful, clean and comfortable with the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! It is very well equipt, plenty of towels, blankets and even robes. We loved the hot tub with views over the lake. The location of the boathouse was just perfect for us and the views were stunning! We took our own paddle boards and was so happy to be able to launch straight from the jetty to explore the lake. My daughter also loved feeding the ducks from the jetty. We have had a busy few days on local bike trails, hikes, paddle boarding, boating and having some lovely meals out in beautiful Bowness, but always looked forward to returning to the boathouse! We will definitely be returning! Thank you

Michaels place was absolutely incredible.. the house, the views and everything in between! We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay. Kerry was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Michael was very responsive and gave us recommendations to do. My kids enjoyed playing outside all day. Also, loved all the big windows in the house and having a fantastic view from each one! Would love to come back and stay again one day! Thank you again for the lovely stay!

Darragh’s place was great, very responsive host! We were 8 friends who were visiting for a wedding from Canada. Scenery was fabulous!

Another fabulous stay at Howards place. Always a pleasure to return as you are guaranteed top rate accommodation and a helpful service if you need it. Definitely 5 stars and the view is another 5 stars!

My husband, 10-year-old daughter and myself have just returned from a truly amazing week, the property is beautiful, with facilities that far exceeded expectations. We had such a relaxing time; the beds are super comfy; led in bed looking out to sea with a coffee in the morning was a true highlight. The gardens are beautifully kept and being gated and private we had no worries with our daughter playing out. The walk down to Watcombe Beach, albeit steep on the way back up but 100% worth it; we took our paddleboard down and went swimming on a number of occasions, the water is very calm, on 2 occasions we were in the water and within 20ft off us were 2 seals! The hot tub was perfect, lovely fluffy robes provided to keep off the chill. We used the BBQ each evening and ate out on the patio. Susan is an incredible host, nothing is too much trouble, very informative and exceedingly helpful, she really did enhance our stay and made us feel as if we were staying in a home from home.

The location is awesome, and the apartment layout was perfect for us. Great place to use as home base for Edinburgh. Would highly recommend!

A perfect family stay in an extremely well located apartment between Saint Idesbald and La Panne. The apartment is beautiful and has all the amenities. Very clean. Stunning views of the sea and the residential area. A big thank you to Hans for his responsiveness. See you soon!

Amazing hospitality! We were late getting into town so Catherine made a dinner reservation for us. She made sure we had everything we needed. Great attention to detail and all the little necessities: toothbrush, comb, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, hand towels, kitchen utensils. This beautiful little place had it all. Well stocked with continental breakfast which we enjoyed. The view was beautiful. If I ever make it back, I will be staying here again. Many thanks!

We had a perfect weekend at Phil and Larraine’s. The apartment was clean, spacious, well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The outside seating area and garden was lovely. Our hosts were always available if required but also respectful to our privacy. We felt like the place was ours and settled in from minute one. Thank you Phil & Larraine . Just one more thing - those views WOW!

We had a great stay at this lovely apartment. It’s stylishly decorated, well-equipped, and just a short walk from the centre of town. The cot and high chair provided were perfect for our 1.5-year-old, and everything was very comfortable and easy. Check-in instructions were clear and straightforward. Parking outside the apartment was full when we arrived on Friday evening, which made unloading a little tricky, but there was space on Sunday when we left so it may just have been the timing. Overall, a really nice base for our weekend and we’d definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful relaxing time at the Pod. Maria could not have done enough for us. The surroundings are amazing and tranquil. The hot tub was amazing and added to the relaxing atmosphere created by Maria. We will definitely be returning. Highly Recommend

Mary was so lovely and welcoming. She was easily contactable and so warm and friendly. We were keen to have a bit of privacy and she left us to our own devices to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The location of the apartment is really spectacular. Sitting in the hot tub looking out on the lake was a real highlight of the trip.

We cannot rate this air BnB highly enough. Firstly we should mention how fantastic the facilities are here and how every care has been given to ensure everything you should possibly need is on hand. This air BnB is impeccably clean. It is also perfectly placed to access the rich variety of experiences the Darent Valley has to offer. The view from this apartment is simply beautiful. We have to mention how welcoming and friendly Diana is. Her communication prior to arrival and throughout the stay was outstanding. Always on hand to offer assistance and recommendations. The place is very baby friendly if you have a baby that’s not yet crawling. We hope to be back in the future!

So convenient for Rosslare ferry but very comfortable apartment in quiet location with easy access to local beach. We were only passing through but would have liked to have stayed longer. Elaine made us feel very welcome, and we particularly enjoyed the fresh bread and eggs and other provisions for breakfast.

The house was absolutely exceeding our expectations. it was clean and modern decoration. Around 9 mins walk to the town center. Nice tea and coffee for us. Mihir was very helpful and prompt response. Highly recommend.

One of the most, (if not the most), beautifully located places we’ve ever stayed. The house was spotless and well-equipped with amenities. Rosie was a brilliant host and quick to respond whenever we needed anything. I'm so glad we decided here rather than staying in the town, which we were at first considering. Can't recommend this place enough!
