Monthly Rentals in Borro

We absolutely loved our stay at Castellina Di Bocco and were sad to leave! The house was extremely clean, well furnished and inviting whilst Giulia was a generous host. From the moment we set foot on the property, we were warmly welcomed by three wonderful dogs (Thor, Pagnotta and Menta) that would become best friends with our children for the entirety of our stay. The house was great for our family of four with two living areas. Set high up on a hill, overlooking the township of Castiglion Fibocchi, you’re spoiled by a view that rivals the nearby Big Bench tourist attraction! The town itself is accessible by foot but as a family we needed to drive everywhere - Google maps guides the way perfectly. We had intended on visiting vineyards across Chianti but this was a challenge. We opted for close by wineries instead and a stop over in nearby Montepuliciano which did not disappoint. We missed out on using the pool due to bad weather but it looks perfect for warmer weather!

We had the most wonderful weekend staying at Sandra and Alessandro’s place. To say it was peaceful is an understatement. We felt so relaxed and chilled from the moment we arrived, and were in awe of the property due to how detailed the decor and presentation are. The photos really do not do it justice. It’s just beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood burner, cooking in the evenings, and walking around the area, it’s was just perfect. Sandra spoilt us with fresh food in the mornings for breakfast and even some sandwiches for lunch which were really unexpected and very kind. Everything is homemade and again, so thoughtful and considered- we were very grateful! The cats on the property were stunning, and we enjoyed Alessandro’s tour of the cat’s home and the information about the breed, they are so magical. This place is a true Air BnB experience, like it should be where you really experience someone’s home. Thank you for having us!

I can’t say enough good things about this place; place being the house, the village, the people in the village and the surrounding countryside. All of that in addition to the gracious hosts! Manuela and Massimo were super-communicative (reached out to see if I needed anything as well as responded quickly to my messages). The home was perfect! Great space in which to spend a month as a home base. I traveled a bit (I had a car) and stayed put as well (getting to know the village and the immediately surrounding areas). It was tough to leave but I left with a great sense of peace from being allowed to detach from “real life” for a month in Italy in this beautiful place. I’ll be back and would definitely rent this place again!

The second time at this place confirmed how much we enjoyed in the first stay, the location, the house, the amenities and friendliness of Mario were confirmed. Everything is excellent, we'll be back again.
