We loved our stay here!! The view is absolutely beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed and it was super clean. There is also a train station right down the road for an easy train ride into Florence if that is something you are wanting to do. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Maristella’s B&B is exceptional. Beautifully cared for in every detail and truly welcoming. She is a wonderful host, incredibly kind, and it’s such a pleasure to meet people like her. The area is fantastic, peaceful and charming. Top communication. She also recommended a great restaurant where we had an amazing meal. I highly recommend staying here. My wife and I will definitely be coming back soon!

Tower Penthouse in small castle near Florence

EricRating, 5 stars1 month ago
we had 4 adults staying (May 9-12, 2025). we rented both the tower and apartment. more than enough room. this would be ideal for a larger gathering being mindful that not all of the sleeping areas are completely private (as stated in the description). the place is decorated very tastefully with lots of interesting items to look at. we also took the pasta class on the night of our arrival. we had a great time and learned a lot from our host. a cup of coffee or a bottle of wine on the top of the tower was the perfect start/end to the day. we loved staying here. we had a rental car and set off for our Tuscan adventure. Lucca, Cinque Terre, Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano, Greve to name a few, were all within 2 hours drive by car. Relatively close proximity to Florence as we arrived from Rome by train and continued to Venice by train. In my opinion, if you plan on touring Tuscany you need a car to really explore. We would stay here again.

La Casina nel Borgo apartment

Nestled in the hills above Greve is a fantastic apartment. We were hosted by Annamaria, who was attentive and proactive. The apartment is extremely well equipped, with every modern convenience that we could have wished for. The place feels peaceful and comfortable and has incredible views of the rolling Tuscan hills. We could not find fault with anything and highly recommend it to Tuscan travelers.
Two elegant wine glasses filled with deep red wine are positioned against a backdrop of rolling green hills. Soft natural light illuminates the glasses, enhancing their clarity and reflecting the serene outdoor scenery.

Highly recommended property, surrounded by the greenery of Chianti, fantastic for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding places. The farmhouse is finely renovated, has all the necessary amenities and the host Sara is very kind and helpful even before arrival, providing important information on places to visit during the stay, and for any further needs. Great for families and groups of friends, like us.
