Vacation rentals with beach access in Blue Hill

I love Maine's working waterfront and even though my stay was in the off season there was a wonderful glimpse into our fishing economy and the hard work it takes to keep it happening. The quality of light in the unit was amazing, and viewing the moon across the water was stunning. Easy to access all that the midcoast has to offer within an easy ride, to Rockland and Damariscotta and Boothbay and Wiscasset -- my favorite spots. Beautiful places nearby to hike and explore. Onsite staff people Debbie and Blair were wonderful; when I had an issue with the internet -- it was fixed quickly. Unit was well equipped for a person who loves to cook. Also having a bathtub in a waterfront apartment was a plus since many don't have them. Clean, comfortable, safe-feeling -- all one could want in a Maine coastal vacation. Wish I could have stayed longer but instead I'll just plan to go back again.

The location was peaceful but close enough to town and hiking trails. We liked having a garage to pull into and then allow our dog to go right upstairs. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to eat breakfast in. Although we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Joy in person, she was easy to reach and responded to texts and emails quickly. Our stay was too short. Wish we could have stayed longer and spent more time in Damariscotta.

Pam was so kind, responsive, and helpful. My girlfriend and I had a great time for our anniversary and loved the area. Everything we needed Pam was able to help with and was so sweet. Highly recommend Pam and the Nest!

We enjoyed our stay at the Duck Cove Apartment. The Apartment was warm and comfortable and the location was peaceful and picturesque. It was a good base for our hikes at Acadia National Park. Nancy welcomed us when we arrived and was a responsive and friendly host. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and moonlight on the water from the living room. It was a nice place to stay!

Great spot in Owl's Head. Super quiet and has a nice dedicated parking spot. Blue door makes it easy to spot, but be aware because Google maps seems to want to take you past the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the living space is comfortable. Would love to have an ottoman for the chairs (I'm a little short) but no real complaints. You can hear the ocean sometimes and the neighbors are friendly. Had a great stay.

We had a great vacation in Julie’s place in Ellsworth. The location, arrangements the kitchen utensils everything was perfectly thought through. Even the local guide was accurate. We spend three perfect days at the location thanks to the perfect vacation home and the hosts as well.

This is a very quiet, nice place with a great view of the bridge. About 1 hour and 20 minutes drive from Acadia. A bit far, but at the same time you can drive and enjoy the beauty along the way. The house was very nice, spacious. The kitchen had almost everything you need. Very quiet and nice. By the way, the house got a TV. A small thing, but nice. The washing machine and dishwasher also added to our comfort. Melinda did not bother us at all and was so kind that she left wonderful coffee from a local coffee shop for us. The coffee was good. We would gladly stay again! Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay - perfectly located on the ‘quiet side’ - close to hikes, the harbour, and a fun walk into town via the causeway. Close proximity to Bar Harbor and the other Acadia hikes, around 20min. We visited in mid-October and it was just incredible. Not too crowded, beautiful foliage and perfect weather. The house was a perfect homemade. Our kids loved s’mores by the firepit at night and board games. The layout was great for our family of 5. Highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the Acadia area. Also, the restaurant and hike suggestions were perfect!

Jackie's place was just perfect for me and my friend and was exactly as described. There are new windows so it was nice and warm even when strong winds were blowing. Jackie was so gracious and provided a lovely snack basket. The kitchen items were top quality and she thought of everything one might need. She even provides multiple steaming services if you want to chill and watch a movie or tv show. Bedding was comfy, clean and warm. Bathroom was clean with thick towels and hreat water pressure. Absolutely nothing bad to say here. I would move right in if it was for sale! :)

Tide Watch is a beautiful property and home. We enjoyed every single moment at this most special location. The home was extremely cozy and well-appointed with everything we could have needed. The location was perfect, not in the middle of tourists, yet not too far away from all the attractions. We would absolutely stay at Tide Watch again.

This cottage has jaw dropping views. Huge picture windows highlight the beautiful harbor. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Plenty of maps and guides of the area. If you enjoy hunting sea glass you can literally walk off your back steps to go on a “treasure hunt” for it. You can walk down the street and explore shops and restaurants. But you’re also convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The internet went out while we were there which is honestly not normally something we’d even care about. But we had plans to watch our Alma Mater play our biggest rival in college football. Dana took care of everything right away while we were enjoying the morning in Acadia. When we returned everything was good to go. We look forward to visiting again! Highly recommend this property and host.

Lauren's place was perfect for our adventures at Acadia and in Bar Harbor. She thought of everything to make it very comfortable, and everything was as pictured. Having the fenced in yard was also super convenient for our two pups to just run them out when we weren't hiking.

Since this was my frist time staying at a airbnb house I Sent Tim a text an hour before we got here he promptly called me with positive feeling,he told me his plans for the next few days and who I would need to contact should we need something. the house was exactly as he explained the whole group of us were very pleased with everything avaliable,we spent lots of time out by the lake awesome sunrise sitting on the dock with cup of coffee, it was perfect. I will definitely recommend Tim's house to other people. we really didn't want to leave. I hope we can return someday. awesome job Tim keep up the honesty and good work.

I cannot say enough about the beauty and solitude of this space. There was plenty of space to work with my yoga teacher, who lives in Rockland, and lovely to have a peaceful dinner with friend . I felt very safe being there on my own, home is very secure. The ability to easily walk in town and chat with the locals was wonderful. This is a home to really settle into and feel a part of the area. I so appreciate the opportunity to have been able to spend two weeks . What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

The Carriage House was a lovely spot- Great windows to see the swaying trees as well as the gulf of Maine. Clean and comfortable. Well appointed. Yes there are stairs, but worth any effort. Sunny and cozy all the way around. I would love to return ASAP.

Had a wonderful family trip at Samoset Resort. Lovely golf course, clubhouse with restaurant’s and a gorgeous pool. Convenient location to Camden and Rockport where we enjoyed many restaurant’s overlooking the harbor, shopping, Farnsworth Museum as well as a sunset boat tour.

BEAUTIFUL landscape directly on a lake with access to fishing poles, kayaks, and canoes, we felt like we didn’t need to leave the property at all. Perfect location to visit Acadia and near by towns. I wish we could have stayed for twice as long. The condo itself seems to be brand new! The beds were comfortable and the decorations and big screen tv were a nice touch. We spent hours on the dock and in the lake (kayaks). Cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven.

This condo is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood on the water. The view was amazing. The location is perfect for driving to all the nearby coastal towns. We really enjoyed our visit to Maine.
