Our family gathered at Rebecca's place for our holiday celebration. The home provided a fantastic array of things to do and spaces in which to gather together. We loved the swimming pool, the pool table, and puzzle-making! Great place for a gathering or celebration. Rebecca was incredibly timely with responses to any questions we had, and most accommodating with some last minute requests.

We felt like at home. The house is located in a private property with swimming pool and tennis courts. It’s very clean and very peaceful. Just a clarification about the description : there’s no bathroom in the basement. Then if you come with elderly people or very young kids, it could be annoying. If you like cooking, the kitchen is very well equipped. We´ll keep a very good memory of our stay in Ducktrap Retreat during the colorful foliage season.

BEAUTIFUL Home!! Tons of space to relax and spread out with our family! The beds were very comfortable! We really appreciated all of the bathrooms for our group! The kitchen was huge and so handy for preparing meals! I absolutely loved the style and atmosphere of this wonderful home! We also loved being able to bring our dogs!! We had a lovely time and we would most definitely come back!!! 🥰

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

We had to be switched from our original booking due to unforeseen issues with that house, but they were able to switch us to a new home just down the road and we really enjoyed our stay. We both worked half of the week there, the wifi was sufficient for two remote workers taking some calls at the same time. The private beach was so nice, we even took a cold dip in the water. There is a lobster shack right across the street! The caretaker of the home was very kind and answered my questions promptly. Would highly recommend staying with blue hill peninsula rentals! I would definitely come back as well :) Thanks so much for having us!

We had a great stay at this house! Plenty of beds for everyone. Convenient to get to Acadia and bar harbor with a short drive!

Everything about our stay was enjoyable. Our expectations were exceeded in every aspect. Working remotely, there was adequate and consistent internet speeds of 85 Mbs. Denise and her husband had even installed a high quality generator that keep absolutely everything operational when the power went out temporarily due to a car accident that took out a power line. She had great recommendations, responded to any questions we had quickly, and was just generally pleasant. The place is clean, private, and has all the necessities. Comfortable couches and beds! Although private, it is still within a 15 minute drive of groceries and activities in the towns of Ellsworth and Blue Hill. The coast is beautiful and just minutes away where you can also enjoy lobster and see beautiful stars. If you venture a bit further out, Acadia is a must see. We felt so welcome and at home during our stay. We only wished we could have stayed longer and hope we can make it back to stay again!

An absolute dream of a stay! The pictures and description do not do this house justice. My friends and I were in awe when we opened the door. You could tell that every section of the house had the thought put into the comfort of whoever stays in the house. My friends and I were visiting Acadia but decided to stay a little further out in Brooklin. The drive to Acadia isn't bad...it's about 50 minutes to an hour to get to the visitor's center. We didn't mind driving. The view from the house was great in the morning. I slept with the blinds open to be awaken by the beauty of the view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and coffee before we headed out for the day. The bathrooms were huge and very clean. There is a catwalk that connects the two top bedrooms...SO COOL! Jen and Steve messaged me many recommendations in the area. I had a question about an area to explore and Jen and Steve responded within minutes with great suggestions. This is a dream house!

We came to town Labor Day weekend for a wedding nearby and the house was perfect for all six of us three couples. first of all the beds are comfortable. The rooms are clean. The bathrooms are well appointed and it’s a very quiet place to sleep.. for those that like to cook this is a very very well appointed kitchen and the host is good enough to supply with things to get you started for your cooking salt pepper oil seasonings. We enjoyed the visiting and living Spaces, the dining area the outdoor porch and picnic table with umbrella, and the fire pit was a real hit the stars at night were stunning. It’s located along the country road with the small market right across the street that has lots the simple things you need and of course fresh lobster that they cook for you to order.. I really enjoyed working with Greg is the host his communication style and his approach you really can’t do better and an Airbnb than this.

Beautiful home met all our needs. Grocery and very nice shopping within walking distance. Acadia, Rockland lighthouse, Bar Harbor and many other sites were day trips we enjoyed. Owner was personable and very responsive.

We had such a delightful week here - we really needed to get away with our dog somewhere to just relax. I loved coming on the off-season with just enough to do, but never crowded. The view from the house was spectacular (both sunrise and sunset, seen from both the living room and bedroom!) The house was comfortable, easy to set the temperature, had everything we needed to cook. Two bathrooms was a huge bonus, and the laundry worked great. We barely took day trips because we had everything we wanted right here, just perfect. And as others say, this is a working town, but the noise never bothered us once, and we enjoyed watching the ships come and go. And Clifford is incredibly responsive - I still can't believe there was an issue with the heating system and we told him Sunday night as we went to dinner and it was fixed before we returned. That was truly a miracle! Both on Clifford's response and finding someone to fix it so fast! We felt very taken care of and would stay here again :)

Tide Watch is a beautiful property and home. We enjoyed every single moment at this most special location. The home was extremely cozy and well-appointed with everything we could have needed. The location was perfect, not in the middle of tourists, yet not too far away from all the attractions. We would absolutely stay at Tide Watch again.

The house was inviting and was a wonderful place to make family memories. It is exceptionally well stocked with anything and everything you might need for your stay. Matt was gracious enough to allow us an early check in and provided us with information about the points of interest in Blue Hill. We appreciate his hospitality and hope to return next year.

This was the best airbnb we have ever stayed in and are already planning our return trip! It’s not often that a place can be perfect for all ages. We travelled with small kids up to grandparents and everyone had a blast. The home was cozy and felt like a home away from home. We stayed for a week in early October and the forest/weather was perfect! Used both fireplaces + outside fire - lots of kindling and firewood. Trails were well marked and perfect for the family. The cove is gorgeous and so private. Lots of stars wildlife and beauty all around. Also the kitchen is so well stocked - even had a rolling pin for chicken pot pie! :) Very remote but lots of fun restaurants and markets not too far. The area and location are really what makes this place so very special. Love, love, love!

This place is a gem! Anthony was a wonderful, friendly host. The property was clean, modern, and spacious. Remote enough to feel like you've escaped, but close enough to necessary amenities (like groceries), and just under and hour drive to Acadia National Park! Wouldn't hesitate to consider rebooking for a trip in the future!

My friend & I stayed 3 days. We planned to do some exploring & hiking & antiquing so it was right up our alley. The location is so quiet, peaceful & picturesque. It’s homey & tastefully decorated! And I loved the extra little touches, for example the bathroom toilet paper flower! So cute!! You can tell she takes pride in her home and in her guests comfort and that it is her passion! Also Bob’s place is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Susan is very thoughtful and easy to communicate with. She gave me some dining recommendations and also asked if we were able to see the northern lights. Who does that?! Susan does!! Thanks for an awesome stay!! Will be back for sure!!

We loved this spot so much that we ended up taking advantage of an opportunity to stay an extra night! The house is over 200 years old and therefore a bit creaky, as well as on a main road, so if you really need absolute silence to sleep, Parker House might not be the perfect spot, but we do live in a remote area and we were able to sleep, besides just enjoying the well furnished space. Hope we get to return!

Rachael’s place was absolutely perfect! It was bright, cheery, and comfortable. We loved the quiet privacy and the ample space. The decor was perfect for Maine and the place was spotless! The beds were comfortable, the towels were fluffy, and the kitchen was well stocked. Rachael even gave us a custom list of the things to do and check out in the area. It was perfect for our long weekend, but would also be great for a week. Thanks for being such a great host!!

We loved our stay. It was perfect for our weekend exploring Acadia NP. The kids loved the bunkbeds and were so happy to find toys for them to play with (that was a very thoughtful touch, thank you!). We loved the side deck and backyard with wooded view. The house was perfect for my husband, 2 kids (ages 7 & 5), dog, and me. We had plenty of space and everything we needed in the house. We would definitely stay here again if in the area, and would recommend it to our family and friends!

The house was cozy and comfortable with all amenities we could need. The kitchen was huge and had a ton of pots and pans and every implement and accessory we could possibly want. We loved the living room, which was filled with books and music, and an invitation from RIch to listen to/read whatever we liked. We also loved the quiet surroundings. It was lovely and peaceful. I would definitely recommend the property and the owner.

This Deer Isle cottage is a real gem--a spotless, well-appointed farmhouse in a wonderful location. The book-lined living room was very cozy and comfortable--and the book collection was astoundingly good!. All the rooms had a wonderful spare but comfortable look; we loved the dining room and the kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable and nights were quiet. We felt isolated in a good way, though we often walked to the little village and elsewhere in the town. Eager to return in the summer and visit Lily Pond and sit on the screened porch!

My girlfriend and I stayed at this Air BnB while exploring Acadia National Park. The private parking was great due to me having a longer truck. We loved the view from the bed room window, and the living room sliding door. It was also great to have local shops and restaurants acouple minutes down the road. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine!
