The most beautiful place, exceeding all expectations. The views are spectacular. We breathed in peace and tranquility. A fabulous place to celebrate my 80th birthday with the whole family -- 16 of us. Everyone was comfortable in the space. In addition to being the perfect host, Samantha provided surprise extras which was such fun! Just a few of the highlights: S'mores at the firepit, lobster dinners, seals, bald eagles and fireworks. She made our stay truly memorable. My family gives the place the highest recommendation.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The views were lovely, the lake was refreshing, the beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen stuff, and the showers were hot. The house mostly has what you need. It could use a few more dish towels and bath towels. The long drive to Acadia got tiresome.

We enjoyed our stay at Mary Jo’s property in Camden, Maine! The location was perfect—private and peaceful, yet just a short distance from town. The space was very accommodating for our dogs, making it an easy and enjoyable for everyone. Highly recommend for a comfortable and pleasant getaway!

We enjoyed our weekend away at Mayya’s guest house! It was the perfect size for the two of us and we felt there were more than enough amenities to ensure our stay was cozy and peaceful! The add on of the hot tub was much needed and appreciated as well as it was getting chillier at night and it was the perfect addition! I would have liked to take advantage of the walking trail but the weather was rainy so we didn’t get to. We would definitely stay here again for a couple days and thank you Mayya for being a great host!

The lawn cottage was perfect for our family (2 adults, 1 child and 1 medium sized dog). The cottage was very comfortable and has a stunning view. The larger property it's on was very dog friendly. The pool and hot tub in the hotel were very clean and fun. The kitchen had everything we needed to make full meals (Thanksgiving dinner!). Overall, this is an excellent place for a vacation, especially with a pet and a child.

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

The perfect place to stay for a peaceful vacation - the home is extremely well appointed and had everything we could possibly need and more. The lake is even more beautiful than the photos and we enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub each day we were there. We would highly recommend.

I spent a week at this beautiful little cabin with my two grandchildren. It was the perfect size and looks just as beautiful as the pictures inside and out. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. The lake can be seen from the cabin and we enjoyed the dock for fishing and watching the ducks. It’s very close to town for groceries etc but very quiet and peaceful on a dead end street. Jason was very welcoming and always available for questions and quick to respond. The only thing that would have made it better for my grandkids is if there was easier access for getting into the lake with a a little beach area or a lawn that went down to the water. But if you want a quiet get away in beautiful surroundings don’t hesitate.

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

I love it here - this was my second visit. Perfect retreat to recalibrate and enjoy the natural beauty of Maine.

Thank you Matt & Carmen for sharing your beautiful home. Brittany did an awesome job cleaning and setting us up for a perfect stay. We didn't get to eat outside as much with the damp, cooler weather but the kitchen table was plenty big enough. It was the perfect place to catch up with out of state friends. Cadillac Mountain was beautiful and Acadia Loop is always my favorite. We explored Winter Harbor and Schoodic Point this trip and we were not disappointed. Stock up on groceries for the cabin or be prepared to wait in line for an hour or more depending on what restaurants are open. They seem to close early compared to places in PA. I was not expecting single use plastic being prohibited in all of Maine. Good thing bags are cheap 😊. Maybe next time we can come in warmer weather and can enjoy the lake more. Camp Tranquility was a wonderful choice for us. Thank you again!

We stayed at Alicia’s place, as we were traveling through, so we didn’t get to take full advantage of the lake. It was well appointed and made great use of the space. There was only 2 of us but a family of 4 would have no issues. It was extremely clean and cozy. We would stay again if in the area. Thanks Alicia

This was our second time staying in Colleens cottage, neither time did we want to leave. The setting is absolutely beautiful right on the ocean the view from the dining room table is out of this world the kind of thing Bob Ross dreamed about. The cottage is nice and cozy with nice amenities considering it's location which is a little off the beaten path. Perhaps it's not the Ritz Carlton but that's not what you're looking for when you book a cottage on the ocean in Maine. I really can't think of any negatives to booking here. The cottage has an outdoor cedar shower which we were concerned about before we booked the first time but we actually ended up finding it quite nice even during 45 degree mornings on this trip. Colleen is wonderful, she's super friendly, always quickly replies to messages. Even a year out from our booking she was quick to reply to any questions we had. She's also a dachshund lover which makes her an extra step above in our book. If you've landed here just book it.

We loved our time at Bobolink Cottage. It was exactly as described; a rustic cabin by the water in Blue Hill! Waking up to fall colors and water views and stargazing all night were the highlights of our trip. Would love to visit again!

This place was a truly a gem. Great yard to relax and get away from everything. Place had a comfortable and homie feel! It was clean and stocked with amenities. The location was perfect for me to explore the mid-coast area which is near and dear to me. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit the area. I throughly enjoyed my stay and would book again!

Excellent vibes at this place. Genuinely stunning views, especially at sunrise/sunset, and the house was perfect for hanging out after a day of hiking at Acadia. The place was slightly farther from the hikes we wanted to do than we thought, but the drive was beautiful so who cares. I would definitely recommend downloading your directions to the house before you lose service. The beds were super comfy and the place was clean. Thanks so much for such a great stay!

Quintessential coastal rural Maine--rustic, historic barn converted to home, within steps to views of Penobscot bay, and the incredible hiking trails of the Holbrook Island Sanctuary. The upstairs gaming room/den is a fantastic retreat in the after hours of exploring this scenic region. Hosts are respectful, warm and welcoming, the kind of neighbors you wish for.

Great cottage to stay in!

Maureen and Rob offer such a beautiful, cozy cottage! We were traveling for Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, and while this cottage was a drive from there, it was exactly what we wanted- private, quiet, beautiful views, and the drive to Bar Harbor was great and beautiful too! Maureen greeted us at our arrival, even though it was later, and provided us with a paper map of the surrounding areas and the best recommendations and routes to travel. We felt like we were with family and knew if we needed anything we had it! We enjoyed the firepit in the back and even seeing a sliver of the Milky Way from the dock at night! Right before we left, Maureen thanked us for our stay with some homemade banana bread. It truly doesn’t get better than that! We can’t wait to return!

Enjoyed our stay very much no complaints other than it’s a bit of a drive to most things but that’s the trade off for tranquility. Beautiful environment and comfortable living space. Would definitely visit again without hesitation.

Our stay at the cottage was great! Nancy met us there for check in and was so helpful and responsive with any questions we had. The views are beautiful and the place is clean and updated. It was quiet and peaceful and the perfect place to stay while we visited Acadia and Baxter parks.

We loved getting the chance to be right up by the water and appreciated the quiet and serene location! While it may not be the biggest place to stay it definitely has everything you need and is a really impressive little cottage. I will say you definitely do need to heed the warning about the stairs and getting in and out of the bathtub (not something we struggled with but definitely could be a struggle for young children or someone less mobile). Rock was a great and responsive host and we would love to come back during a warmer time period where we could enjoy the surrounding outdoors a little more and utilize this place again!
