Birch Bay vacation rentals

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! Thanks Carol for a wonderful stay.

We had a great stay at Jessie’s place. Lots of room for our family to spread out. And nice to have a washer/dryer to do laundry as our clothes got soaked from a storm one day. Quick and friendly communication with Jessie. Quiet neighbourhood but close to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great place to stay in Birch Bay! Dan and Sherri were great hosts, the condo was very comfortable and had a nice view of the bay. Very responsive and answered all our questions promptly and clearly. Would stay here again!

This home was absolutely stunning! The views of the bay were breathtaking — we could have sat and watched the water for hours. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The shower was also amazing — spacious, with great water pressure, and the perfect way to unwind after a long day. Everything about this stay felt peaceful and luxurious. We can’t wait to come back!

We liked the condo and location very much. Very peaceful, quiet and private, the unit is well maintained, and everything we used worked. Kitchen was great, we used it for breakfast everyday. Hardly anyone walking the beach during our stay, and it was relaxing watching the tide come in and out, with the lights from Canada at the distance. A place to stay if you're after a quiet, relaxing vacation. The restaurant at the nearby resort is a very short walk away, and pretty good even with the short menu, as their main kitchen is closed for renovation.

Annika’s home was beautiful - a true sanctuary. The access to the beach at low tide was a blast for our kids and we were treated to beautiful sunsets every night and even had an eagle perch on a branch outside to have its dinner. The house was spacious, clean and comfortable with lots of games and toys for the kids. Our kids are already asking when we can return.

We enjoyed staying at Hannah's, although I think next time we would stay closer to Eastsound, as out of the three cafe/restaurants within 5 miles, the two in Olga closed mid-afternoon and the third, in Doe Bay, is only open at Friday-Sunday at this time of year. Fortunately we were able to cook in the small kitchenette in the studio and eat on the deck outside, since it was quite warm outside the two days we were there. Otherwise we had a pleasant time, and Hannah and Pat are very interesting people...

Close to town, super clean, beautiful views -- a perfect retreat for the two of us.

This little guest cottage exceeded all our expectations. The view is stunning from the front patio, which we had our coffee on every morning. Kitchen is pretty standard, though it’s always a bonus when it comes with a full sized refrigerator. Cottage was clean and organized, check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The host was very responsive and willing to help in anyway, extra recycling bins, local recommendations, I felt confident that she’d respond quickly should something come up.

We visited Lopez Island for a quick weekend away and are so happy we chose Linnea’s place. The house was very charming and included everything we need while there. Its location was perfect (right in the heart of the village so we could easily walk to restaurants and shops). Also, the bed upstairs that we slept in was VERY comfy. Highly recommend. Thank you, Linnea!

What a fun adventure and Island. I was nervous about booking and coordinating a charter and ride to the house, but Ramy and Island Express were easy to communicate with and have clear instruction. Ramy met us and helped us on arrival too. We even booked a spontaneous charter to Orcas Island for the day and both Ramy and Island Charter made that easy and possible! The location has amazing views and the beach is beautiful. We enjoyed running and walking the island without running into many cars or people, it was very peaceful. The library was my favorite, and the golf course was fun. Both easy to walk to from the house. We stayed 5 nights and didn’t get bored. Ramy was kind enough to let us use her car to see more of the island and to let us take it to the ramp to go to Orcas. Thank you for being a great host! Oh, and if you walk by the big ying yang gate at the neighbors down the road, ring the bell as the sign asks you to! That was definitely a little adventure on its own.

Our stay at Karen’s Forest Home was amazing!!! The home is beautiful, the yard is beautiful and was perfect for our little kids to play. Karen really has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible! She goes above and beyond as a host. She has warm socks for your feet on the tile floors, umbrellas in case you need to borrow one, bubble bath, board games and puzzles for entertainment and even a large cooler if you want to pack a lunch and go out for a picnic. The hot tub was so nice at the end of a long day. We were so impressed with the Forest Home. It exceeded our expectations in every area and we can’t recommend it and Karen enough! We’ll definitely be back!

We had a family gathering for 10 people. The house was warm and friendly and easily accommodated all of us. There were 3 children, 11 to 15. They played badmitten and ran around the 7 acre tract and spent hours at the private beach. San Juan island is one of the most beautiful places on the west coast and this place truly enhanced our visit, I can't say enough good things and highly recommend staying there.

This is the best place to stay in Bellingham. Renate is an amazing host, the apartment is very comfortable and has an amazing view over the Bay.

Enjoyed my stay with friends! The hosts were helpful and responsive. They gave recommendations and reminders, plus the space was clean and neat.

We had a wonderful stay! Lots of space, great kitchen, and wonderful breezes. You can see the tides on the bay. Beautiful! The host was so supportive the whole time and especially when we forgot to pack one cupboard of our food. She had it ready for a relative to pick up for us after we left.

Such a great place! In a great location, felt very safe and feel like she had everything we needed!

Great place to stay. Jessica was very responsive. I wish there was a way to turn off the exterior lights. They were a little bright in the rooms. Will stay here again next year.
