Cabin vacation rentals in Arcadia

The basecamp cabin, with its fireplace and hot tub, made for a relaxing and peaceful winter getaway. It is spacious, cozy, and clean. The surrounding camp was quiet and peaceful, but I imagine it would be busy in the summer, as Sam Baker park is right down the road and there are small cabins and camping surrounding the property. The camp has trails to the lake and the nearby St. Francis river to explore, and the night sky was great for stargazing. The camp lodge has a small store and very helpful staff. The beds weren't very supportive, but were warm and clean. Lesley was a responsive host.

oh. my. goodness. there are no words for the experience we had here. the location was absolutely beautiful with all the different weather, snow, rain, tornadoes!!! there are so many trails to ride here, come on bring them them ATVS!!!! Kevin and Ashley were above and beyond helpful through everything!!! great people!!! absolutely loved it here, hope to be back!!!

This is a wonderful place for a weekend with a spouse or a family get away. we wnt for our 10 year anniversary and are going back with the kids this fall. Highly recommend!!

So thankful for this getaway! We got some time away from the kids and enjoyed this sweet cabin and the amenities. I left my wedding band and they graciously mailed it to me. Very satisfied with staying here! The river was too high to float but I’m sure it will be lovely next year when we come a little closer to the summer season. Blessings!

I stayed here for work. I got excellent sleep during my stay. The area is peaceful and private. It was a fantastic place for my dogs. The grill and picnic table were a must on my days off.

It was mostly rainy during our stay however that didn’t stop us from having fun. Our kiddos learned to kayak, loved playing in the sand at the beach, fished and loved “swimming” in the hot tub. We can’t wait to check out the other cabins. It was nice that phone service did not work well but the WiFi was good enough for emergencies and checking in on the world but not good enough that the kids wanted to spend their time on their devices. We will be back!

We had a lovely girls weekend at Cabin A. It was cozy, comfy and the surroundings were beautiful and the perfect backdrop to a restful and relaxing weekend. We will be back!

The place was nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. It has a screened in porch to hang out in. We went the week before it was fully staffed so most activities and meals were not available to us - which we were not aware of before arriving. There were still enough things to do. Manager was kind and accommodating and took time to give us a boat ride. We had awful storms one night and they had a good safety plan and management was helpful. Pros: had plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, towels. The queen bed was comfy and full size kitchen equipment was nice to have. Cons: the bunk beds are not great for adults with pain/back issues. There was no extra bedding (but we didn’t ask for any so that may be an option). Roads are rutted out so my low profile car had come issues driving in and out. We would definitely go back!

This was our second time at Christina’s cabin. My kids loved the fishing and animals. I loved the serenity! We’ll be back next year!

Great stay in Cadet! It was comfortable, the playground for the kids made the weekend so easy! A fire in the evening for s'mores, lounge chairs to relax, and a close walk to the creek. Host was responsive when I had a question. We would definitely stay again

One of the nicest, roomiest cabins I've stayed in South, SW Missouri. Cute little cluster of four cabins around centralized pavilion that had nine picnic tables under it. It was right in town, so convenient. I liked the large bathroom and there were dining trays that came in handy. I had two pets and the pet fees were cheapest I've found, $10 each. Lots of towels too... some places aren't very generous with them.

We loved the quiet, beautiful neighborhood; we loved learning the history of the home as well as the history of the area (we even got a fantastic rundown of the Battle of Pilot Knob by your local visitor center curator!); we loved Elephant Rocks, Caledonia, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins; and we loved our family movie nights in your family room. A nice cabin in a beautiful setting. Great location if you like a location that is tucked away and peaceful. The cabin itself is set up very nicely and the host was very thoughtful to ensure you are comfortable during your stay with their accommodations and amenities.

Super cozy. Perfect for 2 people. Water was hot. Couch was comfy. Bed was comfy. Tap water was questionable, but plenty of water bottles were provided! Only downside, complimentary firewood was wet. Great place, likely to come again!

The cabin was comfortable and well equipped. Everything was as advertised, but we didn't know you must pass through the second bedroom to reach the only bathroom. Otherwise we had a terrific stay in this beautiful location.

Beautiful property walking distance to the river. House comes with everything you need for a Perfect weekend getaway for a couple or a great spot for a few family and friends. a beautiful firepit area that's facing the woods. Host are great people! We will definitely be back 🥰

This was a lovely place to come back to after exploring the many state parks in the area. My dogs and I had a very nice and relaxing stay and I will definitely be back if I’m ever looking to stay in the area again. It was very easy to find and had everything we needed for a little get away.

This was a great find for us. It was a grandson trip so he thought the place was really awesome. We did too. It’s smaller but had all we needed. Perfect. Lots of great discounts coupons to local establishments. Hostess was always handy to check on us. And quick to respond with any questions. Would definitely stay again. 100% satisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cabins at the Lofts! It was the perfect getaway for our family. The grounds were absolutely beautiful and fun to explore. the cabin was quaint and the perfect size for our family. We even had a full kitchen with supplies. I would definitely book again!
