Winter skiing is very popular in the area: either in Mottarone, half hour from Villa Allegra or in one of the various winter resort of Monte Rosa: Macugnaga, Alagna or Domodossola. There are four different golf corses all located very close to Miasino. One can visit Magiore Lake, its astonishing parks and Villas and its unforgettable Islands. Shopping-addicts can have fun in one of the various outlets of the area. For those who are lazy, life will be much easier: just go to the front lawn of Villa Allegra, lay down on one deck-chair and enjoy the view on Orta Lake and Mount Rosa.
