Cottage vacation rentals in Alford

What a charming and perfect spot for our family to land! We’ve been coming to 30A a couple times a year since 2017 and we’ve never stayed in the inlet beach area! So glad we stumbled along Daddio’s Cottage because we will absolutely be coming back, hopefully very soon! Not only is it close to different restaurants/things to do, but it’s also super walkable to the beach and such a quaint, beautiful community. It was quiet, relaxing, and we loved being able to walk out to the pool from our porch in just a few steps! Speaking of the porch, we spent so much time enjoying the porch and being outside. Such a great perk of this spot! The house was very clean, well decorated, and had a lot of nice amenities and equipment. We were so grateful for all of the beach toys/chairs/gear as well and put it all to good use! We had 3 adults and 1 toddler in the house and it worked perfectly for our crew. This cottage is an absolute gem and we already can’t wait to come back soon to visit!!

Great location with beach access very close to the cottage. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub option as well. The house is situated on the corner which was nice and quiet. Definitely will stay here again.

The cottage was perfect. It was spotless clean when we arrived. Jason was super fast in responding. The location couldn’t have been better. The private access white powder beach was beautiful. The bicycles were a nice touch as we rode them to Aly’s Beach. We didn’t leave without enjoying the pool also. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We have been going to Destin for years but have decided that we like PCB much better and this year we stayed at the Calm Palm… it was soooo nice! Peaceful, quiet, CLEAN! Felt like home! She has EVERYTHING you need. We will definitely return. Thank you Liz!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Marianne was a great host, super responsive and friendly! We had one extremely minor issue during our stay and it was taken care of and fixed within 10 minutes. It’s dog friendly which was great for us to bring our three pups along with us, my husband and 4yr son caught tons of fish off the dock in the backyard as well as a few crabs. We drove to Destin/Miramar everyday and it wasn’t a bad ride at all. The place was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Very cozy and peaceful, we used the giant hot tub a few times and it was wonderful both with and without the heat on! We will absolutely be staying here again for our future Florida endeavors!

This place was WONDERFUL! The interior of the house was cute, clean and nicely decorated. We ate out every night for dinner (there's so many good restaurants to choose from on 30A) and had a simple breakfast and lunch. The backyard area was superb!!! It is super relaxing and beautiful. We enjoyed the outside area so much that at times it was a really tough decision to get up a go to the beach. But, we do love the beach. And, it was actually pretty nice that the beach was about a half mile easy walk- that way we at least got a little bit of exercise everyday! Ha! This was our first time to fly to the beach. We usually drive and bring a ton of stuff. So, I was a bit worried that we would be lacking; but we weren't. There were even beach chairs and an umbrella for us to use. And, yes, they have bikes which made the trek to the beach really easy. There wasn't anything negative about this house at all.

It’s a great place to stay with your family. There is plenty of room, cooking wear and things you mess for the beach. It is very pet friendly, so I was able to bring my two miniature dachshunds. The house is close to the beach, but make sure to come early since parking is limited. There is a trail for running and biking around that connects to seaside. Carol was a great hostess.

Cassandra was amazing! She was quick to respond, helpful with suggestions, and just made us feel right at home and an extension of the family. The cottage was adorable, functional, and very easily accommodated our family of 4 plus pup. The location was perfectly located in proximity to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The outdoor shower is a cool and functional addition to the house. 10/10 Definetly Recommend!

Amy was a wonderful host! She greeted us upon our arrival. She was very attentive to our questions or any needs that arose. We appreciated the beautiful decor that gave us the coziness and comfort of home. All the amenities made our stay evermore enjoyable. The carriage house is centrally located to the beach, restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our walks in the beautiful area of Rosemary/Seacrest/Alys Beach. The sunsets were spectacular against the clear blue water and powder white sand. A true paradise! We really enjoyed our month stay at the lovely carriage house. Tom & Sandy

We appreciate all the communication and allowing us to bring our entire family. Our dogs had fun traveling as a family and one day we will return. The goats were super sweet and Sabre was such a good boy. Thank you kindly. God bless.

We absolutely loved our stay at this adorable beachy home! The decor was so cute and coastal—it felt like the perfect Florida getaway. The entire place was spotless, and we were pleasantly surprised to find the full upstairs was a private master suite (such a bonus we didn’t expect but totally loved). The kitchen was fully stocked with all the basics, which made cooking super convenient, and the beds were really comfortable. Having four bikes included was a huge perk, and we loved how close the house was to scenic bike trails and just a 20-minute golf cart ride to Seaside. The trundle twin beds were a bit too small. It wasn’t a huge issue, and the listing was accurate, just something to note if you’re planning for adult guests in that room! Overall, this place was wonderful. The host was incredibly responsive, and everything felt thoughtful and well-kept. We would 10000% stay here again!

Good place to stay and close to the beach....perfect for multiple couples.

This is our second time to stay at Saltwater and it was just as perfect as the first. Jenny is super responsive & easy to communicate with. She is an excellent host; the surprise welcome package really made us feel special! The home is perfectly located and so welcoming. Beds are comfy and kitchen has everything you need so you’re not running out to Publix every night for random condiments. There is every beach accessory you can think of available for use. I cannot wait to bring my family back again and again!

We loved our stay here! The community is awesome, and the location couldn’t be better. The rooms were clean and well-organized, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the setup—nothing was overlooked. The beds were super comfortable, beach towels were provided, and everything felt easy and welcoming. We have three young kids, and they were so comfortable and happy here. We’ll definitely be back!

I don't usually write reviews unless a place is really bad or really good and Shelly's place is really good! Perfectly situated just over a block from the beach and and equipped with everything you will need while there with a neat little cart to put it in. Loved the courtyard with plenty of furniture, grill & outdoor shower and would definitely stay there again.

Everything about our stay was amazing! We did a weekend trip for a friends birthday and Claudia’s bungalow was beautiful and walking distance to the beach. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

The place was perfect!!! Beautiful on the inside and out, had everything that we needed for the week! Easy 0.6 mile walk to the bike but if you don't want to walk, they have bikes at the house you could use as well! We loved the location, very quiet - Stinky's bar is right down the beach (easy bike ride) and was a fun place to end the night with live music! Backyard isn't fully fenced if you are brining your pup but has plants to create a sort of mock-fence so worked well for us as our pup isn't too adventurous! Would 100% recommend this place and also stay here again ourselves!

We loved our stay. The house is across the street from the beach and easy to get to. The heated pools were nice. We enjoyed the tennis courts and the kids loved riding their bikes through the community. The house is quaint and had everything we needed.

Great place in a great location. It was the perfect location for my family’s vacation. Using the golf cart to haul everything down to the beach access point was a life saver. Close to everything you could ever need including Publix, Aldi, Alta/Rosemary beach, Camp Helen State park and more. Do not hesitate to book!
