Family-friendly vacation rentals in Venice

Chiara was not only thoughtful but thorough. She was responsive, the space was clean, she was flexible, and helpful. We were supplied with a list of nearby restaurants accompanied by phone numbers, pricing, and ratings!! Wow. When a hiccup came up in my vacation planning for our stay not only did Chiara remain calm and flexible but also went the extra step by sharing tips and information to ease our travel. Thanks!

Absolutely wonderful stay. The location is perfect; we walked everywhere. It was spotlessly clean, calm and fully equipped. The perfect quiet spot to relax after a long day seeing beautiful Venice. Morena couldn't have been kinder and has thought of everything.We plan to come back. xxxx

Valentina was a great host, communication was kept all the way through. One of my friends arrived in Venice before I did due to flight delays, and Valentina let my friend into the apartment early before we arrived later in the afternoon. Valentina met us as soon as we arrived and went through what we needed to know and then left us to it. Any questions we had Valentina answered and help with any suggestions about what to do and see. The apartment was clean and had what we needed and was about 15 min walk to St Mark's Square, which was perfect for what we wanted. The canal that runs next to the apartment can be noisy early morning/late at night but it wasn't an issue for us. The apartment is very close to F.te Nova A for the waterbus to and from the Airport. My friends and I would definitely stay here again.

Martina's lovely flat was the perfect place to stay during our time in Venice. It is centrally located, beautifully furnished, and above a very active canal. We had a great time exploring and would definitely stay at Martina's again.

This was a great place to stay - so clean and so close to the Rialto bridge. The host provided us with some insights (places to go/eat) to make our trip more enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here!

Rosanna’s place was great! Even better than the pictures, high ceilings and beautiful inside. The back patio is lovely. In a quieter neighborhood. The bed was firm and comfortable. The shower takes some getting used to but it’s comfortable and great water pressure. Overall perfect for what we wanted, and Rosanna was very proactive with communication. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at this wonderful and welcoming home in Venice. The Luca provided exceptional service from start to finish—warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. Upon arrival, I was greeted personally, which made me feel immediately welcome and at ease. Throughout my stay, Luca was highly responsive to any questions or needs, always replying promptly and with genuine care. Luca’s thoughtful hospitality truly enhanced my experience in Venice, and I would gladly stay here again.

This is a charming apartment right in the heart of Venice and we had a wonderful 3 night stay. You feel like a local resident in a quiet Venetian neighborhood, which is so much better than staying in a hotel. Alessia was an amazing host, proactively informing us about the new tourist tax, sharing local recommendations (which were spot on) and guiding us for the check in. Happy to recommend this apartment to other couples visiting Venice!

The flat was amazing, located on a quiet street but with quick access to many restaurants and attractions. The location couldn’t have been better. Having a washing machine and dryer was definitely a rare and appreciated find. Communication with Paola was easy, and she was very responsive throughout our stay.

Antonella was a great host, very friendly and fast responsive. She greeted us to check in, she put some muffins and beers at home. There were plenty of shampoos and soaps in the bathroom. Towels and sheets were very clean and smell very nice. It is in the second floor but going upstairs was easy even for me :) the only problem is it was very very hot. I think it would be nicer to have mosqito nets on the windows since there were mosqitos (even she gave us mosqito repellent) and since it is in the top floor it was really hot. Living room have portable airconditioner which cools perfect but it has so much noise. And bedroom has portable fan and cooler, but at night since I could not open the window, it was very hot. The place is very clean, nice pots in the kitchen. House is huge and very comfortable. Bed an pillows were very comfortable. From the airport you take alliguna boat and it only takes 3 minutes walking from the stop to home. I suggest this home on winters, spring amd fall :)

I can't fully express how much I enjoyed my stay at Siria's apartment. The apartment is exactly as described and I think even better than shown in the pictures. The location is ideal. I have been to Venice before and the location of this apartment is not in the very busy and noisy tourist locations, but still only a 7 minute walk to the train station and Piazzale Roma. There are also any number of very good restaurant options within minutes of this location. All of the sights of the city are easily walkable. The apartment was equipped with everything you can imagine to make for a comfortable stay. I didn't make use of the kitchen, other than to make coffee, but it has everything required to make meals during your stay. Finally, Siria is an excellent host. She is very friendly and gave excellent instructions on how to find and access the apartment. She always answered my questions very promptly. When I return to Venice I will definitely stay at Siria's apartment again.

This was our first trip to Venice and with a late flight, what truly stood out from the very beginning was how attentive and proactive our host (Erika) was. She met us at San Stae station after 9 PM and walked us to the apt. She took time to explain the apt and Venice and she provided many important suggestions e.g., restaurants, shops, local travel, and sights to see. The apt was immaculate and was well furnished. You can tell how much the owner / host care about their clients comfort and well being while in Venice! You will not be disappointed!

We really enjoyed our stay at Paolo’s. He was so helpful in directing us how to get to the water taxi stop nearest his place and then met us there to take us right to it. We were away from the crowds but close to an open square and fun bookstore. We enjoyed the walk to the main attractions.

Une autre Venise pour ceux qui veulent découvrir Venise et la vivre au plus près des vénitiens. L’appartement est confortable avec une vue imprenable et un grand magasin Coop est juste à côté. C’est très pratique en famille et la giudecca est très bien desservie en Vaporetto pour aller n’importe où et explorer Venise. Un superbe séjour au vert dans Venise. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. Notre fils a même joué avec les enfants sur le campo à la sortie de l’école ! Visiter et vivre Venise. Un grand plaisir.

We stayed 6 nights in Claudia’s beautiful Venice apartment and felt right at home. It was stylish and spacious and set in a perfect quiet location close to one of the main walkways. Loved being on a canal! The bed was comfortable and found it a place to relax from the busy city. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay - an absolute gem.

Giovanna was immediately responsive to all of our communications and made it very easy to find our apartment and get in! The view! The room has a *lovely* balcony directly overlooking a canal and could watch the gondolas go by one after another in the mornings. And since we were on the top floor, we had a glorious view of all of the roofs of Venice stretching off all around us! And also because of being on the top floor, everything was very very quiet! The inside was great. Plenty of room, two big beds to choose from, a comfy couch, a washer/dryer that we made good use of. The location can't be beat. We were just a few minutes short walk away from the Doge's Palace in one direction, and a huge selection of cafes, restaurants and shopping in the other. When I come back to Venice, I'll definitely be booking this again.

Die Lage der Wohung ist absolut top und zentral. Die Wohnunh bzw. das Appartement ist sehr großzügig mit massig Platz. Das Treppenhaus schockiert im ersten momnent ist aber typisch aber typisch für Venedig. Die Restauranttips waren gut und hilfreich. Die Wohnung ist ein seriöses und tolles Angebot. Frühstücksmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt vor der Tür - für zwei Personen ca. 15.-€

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Venice! The place was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but still just a short walk from all the main sights, shops, and restaurants. The host provided clean and helpful directions, which made settling in very easy. Highly recommend for anyone Looking for a peaceful and convenient base to explore Venice!

Barbara was an amazing host! She was so helpful to my family and I, travelling into Venice after a long day she cut out the hassle with her local knowledge and went out of her way to make it easier for us. Her place was wonderful, it is in a local neighbourhood and it was fantastic to be able to get out of the crazy crowds after a busy day of sightseeing and see Venice through a local experience. Very well connected and easy walk into SAN Marco and nearby attractions and great local restaurants and cafes around. Thank you Barbara!
