Love the location and its a great place for a family to visit and enjoy

My daughter and I had a wonderful weekend and our accommodations couldn’t be better. Perfect location to get to/from the horse show and cabin was quiet and cozy.

We loved our stay at Patrick’s place. It was super cozy. We enjoyed sitting around the wood stove, hanging in the jacuzzi, the bathroom with heated floor was lovely. The kitchen and the stove were really nice and we were able to make a lot of yummy meals. Visiting the goats and chickens and receiving fresh eggs was a special treat. Even though the house was on a busy road, the back beautiful flowers and back porch area make you feel a bit removed.

We were not able to actually stay at Lisa’s place because of Hurricane Helene, but will definitely go when we are able! Lisa was a great host, very responsive and helpful!

This is truly a 19th century log cabin: very well maintained and cozy (altho’ slightly dark, as life undoubtably was back then). The hot tub brought the 21st century home! The cabin is large, with a bedroom in the loft so nightly bathroom breaks involve navigating steep steps to the main floor. The downstairs bedroom is down some steeper stairs (quite ladder-like) but there’s a bathroom down there. Full laundry, full kitchen, TV and AC provide all the creature comforts; if you lived here in the 1890’s, you lived like a king. Convenient enough to Hendersonville and Asheville, and hiking in Pisgah National Forest; most roads are back in service, and the destruction from Helene is everywhere visible. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the porch for quiet downtime; nothing but trees and birds for the senses.

Mountain Retreat was just what we needed to get away. Great views of the Pisgah Forest mountain line, tasteful furnishings, and everything you need for a cozy stay. The kids really liked the game room, and all of us enjoyed the back deck and hot tub. The area is pretty secluded, which is exactly what we needed, but also close enough to Brevard if you want to go out or get supplies. Also, several cool spots nearby too, like the Ecusta Taproom and Gordingo's kitchen. A must go if you are in the area!

Adorable place for a quick weekend getaway. My husband and I are looking to move to the area and used Kaitlyn’s cabin as a home base, and it was perfect! Loved coming back to the hot tub after exploring the area and touring some vineyards all day! Would love to go back. Thank you!

Had a family Thanksgiving weekend at the lake and it was AWESOME!! Great house on the lake…would definitely stay here again!!

We hosted a yoga retreat here and a house across the way. We had an absolutely phenomenal time! There was plenty of space for everybody to be comfortable and for us to gather together as a group. Both houses were extremely charming and well equipped. We practiced yoga, kayaked, lounged, enjoyed the fire pit… it was really lovely.

I would recommend Alison to anyone. She was our first host this being our first time using Airbnb. We couldn't ask for anyone better. Not to forget the beautiful house and view. I will never stay in a plain hotel again. I didn't have to worry about me and my families safety at all. Thank you Alison.

As always, we LOVED our stay at Uncle Joe’s Cabin. This place is a little slice of heaven and this trip was exactly what our family needed. Our 4 kids always love playing in the creek and I loved napping on the porch listening to the creek and the rain. The cabin itself is so cozy and peaceful and the surroundings are simply beautiful! It’s the ideal location for a laid back, relaxing vacation full of family time!

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin tucked a way with a lot of hiking close by. The cabin was rustic, clean, and just as described/pictured. My boyfriend and I did a couple of nice hikes including Looking Glass Rock Trail as suggested by Lucas. Greg/Lucas were very accommodating and responsive.

We loved Rebecca's place! We have 3 kids, and it was perfect for them. They ran around the yard, played on the zipline, went fishing, played games in the woods, etc. My wife and I had time to relax because the surroundings entertained the kids. The house is clean and big. There was plenty of room for a family of 5. I went to Brevard College in the early 2000s and like to spend time in the area every year. I know the area well, and the cabin's location was perfect. We felt very isolated (which we love), but were close to town. It is the best location we have found yet, 10 minutes from downtown and the same distance to Pisgah and Dupont National Forests. We spent our days in the forest and relaxed at the cabin at night. If you don't know the area, this is an ideal location. It is secluded but close to all of Brevard's activities. Oscar Blues Brewery is also very close. a great place for the kids to run around while the adults enjoy a pint. Thanks, Rebecca and Troy, we will be back!

Great cabin and host. A little tricky finding the driveway by the gps but she gave instructions. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back in the near future

Had a great time here. The views were really spectacular. The town of Brevard was super cool with some great restaurants and local shops. Our kids LOVED the toy store. One of the coolest ones we’ve been to. If you like beer, Oskar Blues and Sierra Nevada are both close by and have great beer.

Solid place. Well maintained. Attention to detail. Had plenty of things one doesn’t always find in airbnb like cooking spray and extra toilet paper!

Great place for families. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood. House was exactly as described, lots of room for multiple families. All the amenities needed for our stay. Super fast response from host. Very close to downtown Brevard. Would definitely stay here again.

We always love staying here, such a peaceful and beautiful gem! Love sitting on the back deck listening to the running water. Cooper (our pup) also loves to run around and have fun exploring! Lots to do in the surrounding towns! Definately will be back!!

I always love taking a trip to South Carolina to get away from the city! The cabin felt very homey and relaxing. It was very clean and organized. I enjoyed my stay very much! Thank you! :)

This is the PERFECT home for a family and a dog looking to get away and experience the peace of the mountains but who also need to get some energy out and have FUN. Our favorite activity was relaxing together in the hot tub after a long day of hiking in Pisgah/Dupont forest and stuffing our faces in Brevard, we'd stare up at the beautiful trees arching over our heads and watch the birds while our aching legs soaked. Our boys played outside with our dog in the fenced in yard and everything felt safe and secure. They wanted bears, we didn't. Linens were lovely and there were extras for parents who need an extra reading pillow to get thru bedtime. Coffee machine worked great and that is literally the most important feature in an Air bnb for this crew. Very conveniently located to SC side of mountains, nice drive from the south thru Travelers Rest and you can stop at Ceasers Head for a beautiful view. 10/10, would stay here again. WE WILL BE BACK! My girlfriend and I had such a great stay at Esther and Wayne‘s place. Communication with them was so easy and prompt and the house was exactly as described. It was so cute and clean and perfect for a little anniversary getaway. The location was so quiet and convenient for us to be able to go visit nearby hiking trails and waterfalls. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting and we would happily stay again. Our little pup loved it too 🐾
