Vacation rentals in Torricella-Taverne

Umberto is a very friendly host. He was very quick to respond to questions and messages. We were even allowed to spontaneously stay one night longer:-). The apartment was really very very clean, modern and well furnished. So I can only agree with all the other positive comments. The bed was also very comfortable and the kitchen was well furnished. Can 100% recommend the apartment!! Thank you!

We loved our stay. The place is beautiful and cozy with a stunning view of the lake and mountains. The location is peaceful and quaint. Laglio is a perfect place to stay to beat the tourist crowds. Paul was an excellent host. Very responsive with excellent local recommendations. I highly recommend this to place to anyone considering a trip to Como.

Andrea was an amazing host. The location of the property is spellbound. The property has a close proximity to the lake. You can view the lake from every window of the apartment. Andrea also helps with local recommendations. We arrived in a rented car. He guided us where to park and where not to. The house is spacious and clean. The elevator is a boo. The only only drawback : We had a toddler with us so the parking was a challenge. The closet parking is a 10 min walk ( 5 min sprint ). We found this problematic as the weather was not too forgiving. You do have the provision of parking right next to the house for just 30 mins to load / unload your luggage. But again that’s subject to availability. The porto ceresio train station is at a walkable distance so it is recommended that you come here by train. Even bus connectivity is decent. There is a bustling cafe right outside the house hosted by some really kind people. It’s a must visit.

We had a wonderful week a Thomas´Rustico. The house is truly beautiful and furnished with much taste and an eye for detail. We had everything we needed there and more. The surrounding nature and views are just amazing - the perfect spot for some peace and quiet. We would love to come back!

Irene’s listing was perfect to accommodate our family of 5. The kitchen is very well equipped and Irene made sure we had everything we need for our baby. The village of Novaggio is well located to visit Lugano’s region. We highly recommend this place!

Unbelievable apartment Extraordinary view Calm and close to village You can walk

Extended weekend with family (parents with 4 children between 18 and 11 years old). We loved this little cottage at the top of the village, very quiet - away from the main roads. Very renovated interior very modern and convenient, but with the charm of an old building. Close to public transport and well located between Lugano and Locarno - ideal for discovering the region (culture, walking, hiking). We didn't use the kitchen - but it seemed to us well equipped (maybe missing a large pot to make spaghetti for 6 people). Bruno was very responsive and easily reachable. We hope to come back another time to stay longer!

We had the BEST time staying at Maria’s place. The location was phenomenal (Moltrasio isn’t as busy as the other villages but close enough to travel there for a day). The restaurants are very close and AMAZING (about a 10 walk). Maria is the best host we’ve ever had. She’s incredibly kind, extremely generous with helping her guests, and overall very welcoming. If you choose to stay here, I recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes to climb the stairs. It is an 18 minute walk from the ferry to the villa (uphill with stairs), so just be prepared for that. We stayed in late October and the weather was beautiful. We were told that the weather was unexpectedly nice for that time of year, so don’t bank on that being your experience if you plan to go in late October 😂 Tips: don’t plan on taxis, use the ferry- it’s always reliable and very affordable (for two of us it was maybe 16 euros/day round trip). Visit all of the neighboring villages. Bring a water bottle with you!
