Vacation rentals with a hot tub in The Bahamas

Absolutely fantastic! Just what we were looking for. Situated perfectly on top of a hill, overlooking the ocean, the views were unbelievable. We stayed 8 nights with our two adult children and their partners. Stephen’s house was perfect, giving everyone private space yet with a large communal area; kitchen, living room, and patio for coming together for meals and card games. Although it’s described as “off the grid” we lacked for nothing. Hot tub, pool, full laundry, a/c, a well managed house. We were more aware of our environment footprint, yet we lacked for nothing nor did we go without. We lived just like we were at home. Even with the remote house location there were two perfect rustic beach shacks within 10 minute walks along the beach. We had great food and drink service at both. Finally the beach, over a mile of unspoiled paradise. Shallow clear waters, beautiful colors, insanely peaceful. Absolutely no crowds. At most we saw maybe 30 people on the busiest day.

The cottage is located just behind the US Embassy on a private street with around the clock security, so I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very comfortable and relaxing. It's only about a 8 minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants on the beach. The Fish Fry area is a little over a mile away, but you can take the bus for 1.50. The two restaurants we tried there, Goldie's and Oh' Andros weren't very good. I was very disappointed with my overall experience with the restaurants in the area. My savior was the McDonald's just down the street from the cottage. This was my first time in the Bahamas and more than likely my last. The beach was beautiful, but I'm from South Florida...

Would highly recommend this place it’s super clean , super private beach , jaw dropping views , safe . If you ever stay here and need anything or any help Judy gray is who you should ask for . She will take care of your every need and make your stay the most pleasant . Would recommend asking her about a private chef as it’s a lot better than the local food and prices actually cheaper . Overall wonderful experience !

Awesome stay on Tar Bay! House was set up perfect with pod style rooms. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. Location was perfect, close to airport and stores. Beach was amazing and often secluded. Nemiah was always helpful. Can’t wait to be back!!

Tanique runs a first class operation, she and her family all greeted us with big smiles, and made us feel right at home. The house is also extremely nice and exceptionally well furnished. Since we were landing on Xmas Day, couldn’t get a rental car until the next day, and weren’t sure whether any restaurants would be open nearby, Faynell graciously volunteered to hit the supermarket on our behalf before we arrived. What more do you need to know about her hospitality? House is nice, neighborhood quiet but about a 5-15 minute drive from most of what you’d want to do. You will want a rental car!

Truly one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had! Vincent is an outstanding host — responsive, warm, and genuinely caring. The house was perfect: clean, super comfortable, and in a fantastic location. Everything about the stay was smooth and relaxing. On our last day, we got caught in a storm while traveling back by boat, and Vincent went above and beyond — he kindly extended our stay by a few hours to make sure we had a safe window to return to the States. He even reached out multiple times to check on us and make sure we were okay. That level of care is rare and so appreciated. I can’t recommend this place — or Vincent as a host — highly enough. Will definitely be back!

Great place. Close to the beach. Within walking distance but I still recommend getting a golf cart for your stay.

Our flight was delayed and we got in very late, we were still met at the villa and then the next day met again to show us around in the daylight!

Fantastic place to take your family, big pool only steps away. If you want to enjoy a day at the water park the shuttles will take you there very handy and very helpful- picks up at Harborside lobby. If you are wanting to have a more relaxing day, then the pool by the Condo is it- big pool, hot tub, and get food at the Point. We would go back again- great value for a family of 4

Don's place is incredible. A beautiful home, well kept, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, there's shopping nearby, and theres hornets to take you right downtown. Don and Samantha were gracious hosts, met us at the house when we arrived, checked in throughout the stay, and were always quick with a response. Thanks guys!

This Airbnb truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by how modern, clean, and luxurious the space was, it honestly felt like a private resort. The design and amenities were top-tier, and everything was spotless and well maintained. The location is unbeatable, just minutes from Baha Mar, a short walk to the beach, and surrounded by some of the best restaurants in Nassau. Whether you’re into fine dining, casual eats, or beachside lounging, everything is right there. A huge shoutout to Sophia the host, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and responsive. You can tell she truly cares about her guests having a great experience, and it made all the difference. I would 100% stay here again. If you’re looking for a beautiful, well-located stay in Nassau with a host who goes above and beyond, this is the place to book!

Beautiful house, easy walk to the beach, ample parking, safe area, 2 min drive to Port Lacaya marketplace with several good restaurants. We loved having coffee on the veranda every morning, and cocktails at night. We did pay extra to have the hot tub heated for part of our stay. Susie's assistant, Nikki met us at the house and gave us instructions and walked us to the beach access. They provided 4 beach chairs which we really appreciated. Both Nikki and Suzie were readily available to give us advice on things to do and to answer questions. The house was in a really convenient location. I did rent a car which made it easy to get around the island. I would highly recommend booking this home for your vacation to Freeport.
