Family-friendly vacation rentals in The Bahamas

Harborside is a great option vs the hotel rooms in the other buildings as you can cook. The buses were easy and frequent. Tips for future guests- you can pack frozen meat in your suitcase. Grocery store food is 2x NYC prices so we took supplies, and bring some basic salt and pepper and such as the kitchen had good pots but not the normal Airbnb type basics. But..definitely stay here and make sure you read the activities guide to understand all that is available to do at the Atlantis, like the free movie theater and comedy club and animal feedings. We feel lucky we got to stay here for less than the Royal and yet enjoy everything Atlantis had to offer. We actually liked the pool at Harborside a lot the most as chairs were always available and it was very quiet. We also enjoyed the Cascades pool and beach between the Reef and Cove so make sure you explore over there. There are board games in the library too. Anyone who gets to enjoy the Atlantis is fortunate- book away!

This is the second time my group has stayed here. We loved it so much we came back! The best views and water access, great sleeping for large groups, and solid kitchen. Hoping to come back again soon!

Ravi was a great host, very responsive. The resort was truly wonderful, being able to walk right out to the beautiful white sand beach was truly a dream come true. We would definitely go back again!!

Wonderful place to stay! Our family of 4 enjoyed the privacy of the house. We liked laying by the pool in our downtime. The house has everything we needed with the 2 bathrooms, living room, and kitchen! The snorkeling across the street was really impressive! Sandra and Philip are spectacular hosts!

Awesome stay on Tar Bay! House was set up perfect with pod style rooms. Everyone had their own space and bathroom. Location was perfect, close to airport and stores. Beach was amazing and often secluded. Nemiah was always helpful. Can’t wait to be back!!

The condo is super close to the pool, the resort is right across the street if you felt like walking. We rented a golf cart through Nate, it was great to get around the island. Would definitely stay here again, Bimini is a beautiful place to visit!

Don's place is incredible. A beautiful home, well kept, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is nice, there's shopping nearby, and theres hornets to take you right downtown. Don and Samantha were gracious hosts, met us at the house when we arrived, checked in throughout the stay, and were always quick with a response. Thanks guys!

There’s a reason Cay Casita has such great ratings! If you’re traveling to Spanish Wells, don’t hesitate to book here. It was perfect for our needs and centrally located.

Michelle and Jason were fantastic. Staying right next two tinys was really convenient. You’re centrally located to all the island has to offer. Michelle was very friendly offering ample recommendations and made our honeymoon unforgettable.

Amazing home on a beautiful piece of property overlooking the gorgeous ocean. Private beach along with private gazebo with hammock! We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. Darren and Angie, Canada

This is one of the most incredible properties we have stayed at. The view from the deck alone is worth coming for. The house has everything you need. Stop by a liquor and grocery store to load up before arriving and you wouldn’t have to leave again. Snorkeling off the back was amazing - the water had fish and turtles galore. A short walk out the driveway takes you to another terrific little beach. If you want a car, taxi to/from the airport, or anything else - Wallace is your man. He is extremely helpful, kind and seems to know everyone on the island. Literally. Just a true gentleman. There is lots to see on the island, but the laid back vibe and unbelievable comfort of the house will make you wonder if you ever need to leave. We decided that when we come back next year, we might never leave the house. Enjoy and thanks to Aaron and Kathy for such amazing accommodations!

Very nice hospitality and attention to detail. Don was very helpful and ensured my family and I had all the proper information prior to our stay. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to the private pool and to the Hilton resort world Bimini. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Pat and Ivan are the sweetest people. They meet you at the place, give very helpful instructions and suggestions and even take you to the store to get basics to settle in. The place was equipped with everything and we enjoyed the back porch for cocktails, fishing , kayaking and paddle boarding. The location was amazing having waterway behind us and the beach in front. Great little restaurants are in the walking distance and so is amazing long stretch of the beach. Pat was communicating with us and gave great suggestions about dive shops, attractions etc. she also suggested a taxi driver Antoinette, who was very responsive, punctual and nice. We had a great time and felt welcome. The host really shares their home with you. Thank you!

Absolutely loved my stay at the Airbnb in Bimini Bay! From the moment I arrived, the place was incredibly welcoming and the host always available to answer any questions I had. The place was spotless, with plenty of towels provided and a nice, cool AC that kept me comfortable throughout my stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the casino and the beach, which is easily accessible via the boardwalk. I felt safe the entire time, thanks to the friendly security staff who were always around. The property is well-maintained, and I couldn't get enough of the delicious food at the poolside bar. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some sun. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting! Can't wait to return!

My favorite spots were the kitchen and the master bedroom the closet space was great, the bed was large and incredibly soft, and the kitchen was stocked with so many helpful amenities. We also truly appreciated the thoughtful baby accommodations. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends visiting Freeport!

We just returned from a magical stay at April’s place at Delaporte Point! It is a perfect location and such a beautiful setting! We loved the pools, the beach, and the whole unit. We had everything we needed. There is a grocery store and gas station convenience store nearby to get some supplies. We loved nearby restaurants in walking distance, especially Spritz, Blue Sail, and the adorable coffee shop, Bon Vivants. Young Fine Wines was also fabulous! We took an excursion on a speed boat to Rose Island to see the swimming pigs and loved it! We also enjoyed a day pass at Baha Mar. We will always remember our magical vacation at April’s place! She was the best hostess and checked in with us often. We loved having breakfast on the patio each morning and a glass of wine on the master balcony each evening at sunset! Gorgeous place! We cannot wait to return to this little slice of Heaven!

Deanna was present at check-in and overall provided clear instructions for our stay. The location was central to BahaMar, Cable Beach, and nearby restaurants. We were a group of girls traveling for a bachelorette and felt safe in the area.

Mama Moss and Nadia were amazing hosts. Everything was better than they described. We had the most wonderful stay due to kindness of our hosts. We will definitely be back and we would stay here for sure.

I came here for my 40th birthday with 7 other ladies. This property was perfect for our group. The privacy of the rooms was perfect for when we needed alone time and there was plenty of space for us to all hang out in a group. The property is even more beautiful in person. Derek was an amazing host and was even answering my many questions about safety, activities, the cars, recommendations on restaurants for weeks prior to our arrival. Janet was amazing, responsive, friendly and professional. I highly recommend renting the Jolly House and enjoying the beauty of the house/island. The house was stocked with anything you need and even had kayaks, paddle boards, floaties and everything you need to enjoy the ocean. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend and we will be back!

The trip to Nassau was meant to be a trip for lifetime. Being in charge of 6 people and a baby, it was incredibly difficult for me to plan the whole trip. When it came it accommodated, I am virgin at using Airbnb but decided to give it a chance anyway. The pictures of Mitchel’s place looked good in pictures, and I liked the idea of being in paradise island. However, we truly had no idea what was waiting for us. The pictures truly don’t do justice how nice, clean, specious the accommodation is. She provided every condiment, glassware, cookware we needed. I truly came to tears when I saw a bag full of beach toys in the cabinet. She provided with laundry and cleaning items, responded promptly when we needed anything or had any questions. It truly was a home away from home. The location couldn’t be better for us as we wanted to explore walking around and everything is very close. The area felt very safe, and we enjoyed so many long conversations sitting by the pool or on the balcony.

We absolutely loved our stay at Kyrene‘s villa! We felt like the location right near the Atlantis and all of the things was perfect for our young family of five! Kira was so easy to communicate with and flexible. Also helped that she had all of the toy and kid resources that we could possibly need. Would highly recommend to everyone but especially young families wanting more space than the rooms offered at popular hotels nearby!

Dominic’s place was the best! The beach and pool that can be used by the public are right outside the house. The water is incredible. You really can just stay on property the whole time if you want. One thing to note- to get the pass you must do a 3 day minimum. It’s around $70. This grants access to the other 2 pools, a bar, a private beach with chairs and umbrellas, drink and food service, and also use of kayaks and paddle boards. Without it they won’t let you rent any of the stuff. It rained for 1.5 days during our 3 day trip so we didn’t purchase it but they will not let you get it for one day. Also the spa on site is completely shut down. The house is spacious and came with some floats which we utilized. There are many balconies and a patio out back which we spent a lot of time enjoying. There is a grill out there as well which is nice. Beds were comfy, couches were comfy. The restaurant and cafe on site are good and you can purchase some grocery and alcohol too. Amazing time!
