Beach house vacation rentals in The Bahamas

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon and it was absolutely incredible. The space is beautiful and very clean. This is the perfect place for you if you are looking to unplug and enjoy nature. We were able to snorkel and fish every day which was incredible. We saw multiple types of fish/lobsters/sharks. Tami also provides multiple kayaks which are easy to bring straight to the water. We cooked every day which is not a downside to us, but is something to consider if that is not preferred as it is a bit of a drive to get to town for restaurants and stores. You also have the option to open the house up with the shutter doors if desired. Overall, we would give our stay a 10/10 between the amenities and communication between us and property managers/owner. All questions were answered in a timely manner and they are all so kind.

This place was incredible. The beach out back is perfect for spending the day snorkeling thru the sea grass, the amount of critters we found was significant. Also, we went exploring at night and found so many wildlife creatures. This place feels like untouched wilderness. The area is extremely remote so plan well! But that’s kind of Exuma in general. Power went out a couple times at night due to the wild weather on Exuma and when we had issues with the generator, the host was incredibly proactive. She reached out to me when she was alerted it was out and we spoke on the phone. Would return in a heartbeat!

Our stay was a home away from home it’s very spacious, cozy and comfortable and was exactly how our host described it would be quiet, peaceful and tranquil the view of the ocean was breathtaking we truly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit beautiful Eleuthera I thank our host for allowing us to stay in their home it was indeed a pleasure.

I think broadly there are probably two ways to visit the Bahamas. The luxury hotels option, or a much simpler, more rustic, remote way, with many fewer frills but closer to nature. If, like us, your idea of heaven is the second one, the Treehouse is it. It’s a little secluded slice of paradise. We were concerned that, especially visiting in July, not having air conditioning would be intolerable, and perhaps inland it would be. But the treehouse is blessed with incredible siting, where it overlooks the sea, and benefits from a steady, warm breeze that felt permanently pleasant. Plus, of course, you can just walk into the sea anytime. We got lucky I think, in that July storms were brief and rare. We strongly recommend a boat trip with James while you’re there. Do rent a car (perhaps from lovely Agatha) - it’s super useful for going to the store, restaurants and the utterly perfect (and surprisingly empty) beaches of North Eleuthera. Oh, and bring cash, rather than rely on card.

Let me just say that No Rush is like heaven on earth!! We have stayed at many wonderful Airbnb properties and this was by far our favorite! The view is amazing, the house had everything you could ask for and then some, and it was so peaceful and relaxing. I think there may have been some days I didn't take more than 200 steps from the house to the palapa, into the ocean and repeat! It was so fun to get out in the kayaks and explore the different coves and areas around us and you could just float for hours staring at the clouds going by. I think the most people we ever saw were 10 at any time and it really felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The ONLY thing that was a negative was the Noseeums who would eat you up at night (I think I have over 100 bites) but the sunset was so beautiful we felt it was worth it. We will DEFINITELY be back and thank you Toni and Anne for being wonderful and responsive hosts! Sea you soon!!!

My family and I have stayed in AirBNBs all over the world… Robbie and Rosalie were the best hosts we’ve ever encountered. Additionally, the house and location exceeded our expectations. The beach was quiet and pristine, we went days without seeing another person. We took the kayaks out daily and went swimming and snorkeling right off the backyard. The water was crystal clear and the beach was spotless. Robbie and Rosalie helped us with local restaurant recommendations (which were amazing), and also helped us to coordinate a snorkeling tour to swim with sea turtles. This was the perfect family vacation and we cannot wait to return!

This place was great, best option if you are staying in Exuma. The house is right on the ocean with a private beach, looks exactly like the pictures. Charlene was very helpful host, let us for early check in and recommended lots of places to visit in the area. We were also able to rent a car from her, which saved us a lot of time at the airport looking for local rental companies This place is heaven on the earth, we will definitely be back.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in a villa at Treasure Cay, Bahamas, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa offered direct access to the stunning beach, making it easy to enjoy the beautiful turquoise waters and soft, white sand. The accommodation was impeccably clean, providing a fresh and inviting atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring restful nights throughout our stay. The villa was also very well-stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to beach gear, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. A special mention goes to the owner, Tommy, whose gracious hospitality made our visit even more memorable. His attentiveness and willingness to go the extra mile for his guests were truly appreciated. Overall, this villa in Treasure Cay is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the Bahamas in comfort and style. Highly recommended!

Hibiscus House was the best choice for us after looking at many rentals and Alexandra was always prompt and explicit with any questions. The spacious yet charming house suited the two of us just right. We greatly enjoyed the traditional and comfortable Bahamas/Caribbean decor and while back at the house we spent most of our time on the beautiful front porch where you can seen the ocean and hear the waves. The tropical landscaping of Wykee Estate is lovely. We'd go back to Hibiscus House in a heartbeat!

This beach villa was perfect for our family of 5 and it was in the best location! It was very clean and felt like home. There was plenty of space and it was so close to the pool and beach. We loved the spacious master bedroom that had plenty of room for suitcases and still had walking space. The kitchen was well stocked too! Amanda has done a great job of decorating the villa and having everything you would need! She was very accommodating with our flight changes and we ended up staying an extra night. The pool area is so nice and most of the time we were the only ones swimming. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Treasure Cay. It was a great home base while taking day trips to different Cays thru out our stay. Thanks Amanda for all the special touches in your villa and sharing this beautiful place with others.

Great host and cozy home!!!

We had an amazing stay. Location was perfect. We highly recommend having dinner at Tippys at least one night. We originally had booked a Cigatoo Apartment with Squires Estate but the AC unit was broken and they contacted us ahead of time and upgraded us for free which was so gracious of them! They were always just a message away and were always responsive. Thank you for an incredible stay, we will be back!

Amazing space, incredibly easy access to a peaceful and beautiful beach. Fun decor. Relaxing pool and jacuzzi. Walkable to basic grocery and restaurants but remote enough to feel like you’re in your own slice of paradise.

Million dollar views in a million dollar home. Book the trip. Get the golf cart. Water is spectacular and so is the home. Would have stayed there all summer if possible. Bimini people are friendly and kind. Many options for dining out. Virgin’s Beach Club is a three minute walk. Hilton hotel with a Starbucks is a five minute walk. Hilton rooftop infinity pool is amazing. Hosts response time was excellent. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The air bnb was really nice! The host was always responsive to any questions. It was overall a good experience !

As frequent travelers my wife and I have the opportunity to stay all over. This is the first place that I actively want to return too. The place is a cute cottage overlooking a postcard. The water is perfect and clear and this makes the perfect home base for exploring. There is a car available along with the rental that I would highly encourage you to make use of. The thing that struck us most and had my wife's head down in a book the entire time are the guest books that come along with the rental. These tell a wonderful 25 year history of both the rental, Scott and the Island as well. To have had the chance to spend a few days in a house that has had such a profound impact on so many lives puts us in great company. Do yourself the favor of giving in to the house and the Island, you too will want to return.

Beautiful place. Astonished at the hospitality. We were running later than expected, Molly and her team made sure that checking in was a breeze. They made sure to stay in contact until the moment I walked through the door. Speaking of breeze, the VIEW from this home was completely breathtaking. We spent most of the time on the balcony watching two sea turtles frolicking. The house gave an even better vibe from the photos. Everything was clean, neat, and comfortable. Would LOVE to come back.

We spent an incredible 9 days at this amazing vacation rental, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The house offers a fabulous view, with the beach right in front and crystal blue water that took our breath away. The nights were equally enchanting, with a sky full of stars . Staying here with our toddler was a joy. The house was well-equipped with toys, floatables, and even a paddleboard, which was a fantastic bonus. We created so many beautiful memories during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting for our family vacation. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Andy, for providing such a wonderful experience.

Had an incredible stay and wish this place could be our little secret. Highlights are the sunset view, lots of spots to hang out outdoors on the porch/yard, water access with good snorkeling right there, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen honestly the list goes on as everything was great. Only small thing is showers were sometimes not super hot but that’s a little par for the course with staying on an island. We had one day of terrible weather but the house was so comfortable we didn’t mind hanging out indoors. We hope to be back!

Would rate my stay an 11/10 if I could! Shannon and Bruce were amazing hosts. Shannon went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a perfect experience. Excellent communication, great recommendations, and such a kind and fun personality! The house has breathtaking views, easy access to Governors Harbor, and everything you could possibly need for a day trip to any of the amazing beaches or adventures Eleuthera has to offer. But most importantly…SOLAR. Didn’t realize how much we would need this - the power on the island was out during a large portion of our trip, so having solar power and Starlink allowed us to Netflix and chill after our days adventures, whereas, we would be SOL if we were staying elsewhere. We will definitely be returning and staying here again, can’t recommend this place enough!

Diane’s place was just as amazing as she was! She was very communicative & met us at the house upon arrival. Everything we needed was there down to spices to cook with. There were also games to play, we left a deck of cards to add. You definitely need a rental car, just had to get used to driving on the left side! This home is definitely a home away from home!

Wow, just wow! Debs place was stunning. The private beach was gorgeous, fishing was so much fun, I bought a pole while I was at browns marina and caught little groupers and snapper right off the beach. We kayaked to the sand bar out back and then walked to the island behind the sand bar. What a wonderful day! We were there for 14 days. It still wasn’t enough. We made dinner in her lovely kitchen and went out some nights too. We enjoyed movie nights and played cards and made cocktails. We snorkled out back as well. From the beach we saw sea turtles, lemon sharks and a sting ray hunting fish. We took pictures of the Milky Way at night on the deck by the water. And had our coffee every morning with the view. We drove to every beach on the island but in the afternoon we came back to our slice of heaven. This home was spectacular and we had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Deb will answer all your questions and is so helpful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Wally is an absolute amazing host. Very responsive, very knowledgeable and detailed about the island. He gave so much informative information about restaurants. The view from the house is not justified in photos alone. Very beautiful place.
