Monthly Rentals in Tahoe National Forest

This A-frame is a beautiful cozy cabin, perfect for a family of 4. Kitchen, even though small, was fully stocked. Waffle-maker was a nice surprise; kids loved waffle breakfast in the morning. The bedrooms upstairs were comfortable. The WiFi is superfast- we had multiple streaming devices and my wife taking office zoom calls at the same time. We loved the neighborhood. Soda springs, Sugar Bowl and some other ski resorts are within 10 minutes of driving distance. There is sled area walkable distance from the cabin. Finally, the host, Steven, is super nice. He is easy to communicate with. We’d love to come back to this cabin next season,

We had a great stay! The cabin was very clean and thoughtfully designed with lots of details that make it feel like a high-quality retreat, especially for families. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked—much better than most rentals—and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The cabin stayed warm overnight even without turning on the heat, and the WiFi was reliable enough for a work video call. Beds and mattresses were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone. One thing to note for families with young kids: I wouldn’t recommend it for toddlers, as the stairs are steep and the heater is floor-mounted. Fortunately, our child was old enough for it not to be an issue. A small tip: the melamine plates are very cute, but not microwave-safe—learned that the hard way! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

First impression opening door to cabin-WOW! I wanted a quiet place among the trees and that’s exactly what it is. Sandy and Lynne were so friendly and accommodating, they make you feel like a welcomed neighbor. Tree views out of every window. Smell of forest overwhelmed my senses, host’s loving huggable dogs were a bonus, even walking grounds smelling burning wood was wonderful. Didn’t do any trails but maybe next time because this place beckons me to return.

This is a very cute cottage feeling upstairs unit, decorated well and with an equipped kitchen! The hosts are very accommodating and even greeted us with a card and a loaf of sourdough bread Wendy baked and teas and treats, So kind! There's pretty ducks in the yard and a view of trees that happened to be covered in snow so we got a beautiful view, equipped with heaters in our rooms, we were very cosy. Thank you! I hope to return again.
