Vacation rentals with a fire pit in State College

A beautiful home; has everything you need and more! Vonte was a wonderful host, responds quickly and is very welcoming. We would most definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the log house. It is beautifully renovated yet gives you a feel you are back in time. We went on a snowy weekend and the fireplace was cozy. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals and decompress. The home was clean and well decorated and we enjoyed watching the horse and buggies regularly passing by the front windows.

This is our third time staying at Matthew’s home so clearly we are fans! It has been the perfect stopping off point for us from the highway but if we had more time it would make a wonderful longer term stay because the surroundings are so beautiful and the hosts so warm. They are always so responsive although honestly there isn’t anything we have needed since they thought of it all!

The house was easy to find, spacious and clean. Instructions for check in and check out were clear and easy to follow. We only spent one night there, so we didn't get to see too much of the area. We did however get to go to Shy Bear Brewing and Easter End Coffee Co. We enjoyed both places and in town we enjoyed seeing the different painted goose statues.

Great place to stay, and very easy to get to Penn State. The house was very clean. The number of bedrooms were great for multiple friends. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is perfect for a quiet get away! If you love hearing rustling water of a creek, and if you love to fish this is a great location! This a great spot for anyone going to an event at PSU..Close enough but peaceful! John was responsive from the beginning when we made our reservation, to prior to our arrival our instructions on check in/checkout. Upon arrival there was a binder with great recommendations of restaurants and things to do. And this little cabin was just so cozy, just like the pictures! We thank you John and family for letting us use your home and hope to be back soon!

Everything was exactly what was shown in the advertisement. Place was nice and we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

This was our third time staying at the cottage. We highly enjoy the location, space and price. I feel it’s very reasonably priced for what all you get in staying there compared to a lot of other places. I think one of the best things is the privacy. You’re far enough away from things yet close enough. Our hosts are always very accommodating and great with communication. Not to forget very kind as well. Thank you again and we’ll be back to fish in the fall. Hopefully without the rain! Lol

Amy was so thoughtful with all the small amenities she provided, it made us feel right at home. The fireplace was a cozy plus. the place was spacious and so clean and updated.

This was a great place to stay!!! Loved the area and it was very spacious and clean! The host was very welcoming! We absolutely loved the fire place!

April place was a small and cozy place within a short drive to the ski slopes. Just what we were looking for. She was also extremely responsive and nice as we first had a hard time finding the right unit.

We’ve stayed at Jeannie and Herbs place a number of times and we’ve never been disappointed. Great folks, great place, we’ll be back next time we need a place to stay.

The home was so cozy and very close to Woodward Skate Camp. Tanya was so kind and responsive and the home was beyond our expectations!! Highly recommend a stay here!!

A very beautiful place. Perfect for a couple.. we stayed for a day as we were passing over. Wish we could have planned for longer stay. It’s very clean and comfortable..

I cannot say enough positive things about this spot. We forgot to book something for graduation and were a little nervous that this was available for such an affordable price. We walked in and were blown away. Photos do not do this place justice. It’s SO nice! There were so many thoughtful touches and bonuses we hadn’t expected. Ruth was very responsive, friendly, and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at Jonathan’s place! We checked in easily the day after Christmas and were welcomed with the soft glow of a Christmas tree in the living room! Located on a quiet street, I don’t think I heard any cars drive by all night long. The weather was cool and overcast and we could not wait to come back to the cabin at the end of each day. Very cozy and warm. Highly recommend :)

What a great cabin! Surrounded by mother nature and two friendly horses. Everything was fantastic and I plan to return to this perfect location. Jessica is a great host.

Very peaceful and comfortable. The scenery coming into the location is beautiful. The firepit area was very relaxing.

Andy was an amazing host. His communication was always quick and kind. The property has everything you could want or need and it's obvious a lot of thought has gone into making it an amazing location for a restful get away. Everything was top of the line and made the cabin feel so luxurious. We took several ideas with us to implement into our own homes. I would easily stay here any chance I got and look forward to returning.

Staying at Will's place was so beautiful, peaceful, and provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect with my dad and his childhood. We were so blessed with a perfect place to be comfortable, share talks of family long passed, and track down some history. I sincerely hope to stay again!!!

This cabin was absolutely perfect! It was so peaceful, clean, comfortable and had stunning views! This was our first airbnb stay and the hosts were amazing! Excellent communication and we felt so welcome upon arriving. They thought of everything. We were in town for a wedding at The View and it was just a short drive away. We would highly recommend if needing a place to stay in the area or for a relaxing get-a-way! Thank you Greg and Leslie!
