Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Beautiful cottage located on the shore of Lake Erie, next to a private community park. Minutes from Cedar Point, Sports Force Parks, boats headed to Kelleys Island, Put-in-bay, and other fun. Centrally located between Toledo and Cleveland and all the attractions northern Ohio has to offer. Step back in time and enjoy a home large enough for 7-9 people, cozy enough for two, featuring an open living/dining/kitchen; first floor laundry and bath; and three 2nd floor bedrooms and bath.

The space
Besides the beautiful views of the lake & community park, Routh@Rye offers old charm and a wonderful home for hosting over-nights and events with family and friends. The open living, dining, and kitchen area and windowed front porch are great for entertaining seasonally. The yard, right on the coastline of Lake Erie, is large enough for outdoor fun, and the streets of Rye Beach are wonderful for walking or bike riding. And the views can be enjoyed all year long. For those who want a private get-away with one or two others...this home is also quite cozy, featuring several nooks for relaxing and enjoying the living room fireplace, a good book, or watching a favorite movie.

Neighborhood highlights

The neighborhood of Rye Beach is very quaint. It features a private community park and beach, right out the front door of Routh@Rye. The cottages date back to the turn of the 20th Century. Many homeowners live at Rye Beach year long, or only during the warm months; and some cottages are short-term rented, so there is a mixture of people through out the seasons enjoying walking, biking, swimming and watching the scenery change by the lake.
