TinyTree House nestling in an Olive grove, with balcony overlooking the sea and the natural surroundings, quiet and peaceful. The village is only 200 metres away.

The space
I live as eco-friendly as possible and re-use and re-cycle a lot. The tree house was built using local labour and re-used materials. - it has a shower powered by the sun and a modern compost toilet on the same level, a short walk away.

I also grow Olives for oil and use local labour for harvesting and transporting to the press. I do not use any chemicals on the site at all and prefer nature to take its course. I encourage people to walk as much as they can around the area.

My way of life is very simple and I go with the rhythm of the seasons as much as I can. I have frogs and toads in the ponds and also have many lizards, birds, gecko's and tortoises living in harmony. There is also an abundance of indigenous wild flowers on the site including bee orchids, poppies, anemones and wild iris in fact through the year there are 80 different sorts of wild flowers that I have seen and noted.

The village which is only 200 metres walk away has Tavernas with fresh home cooked local ingredients. The people are very friendly in this farming area. There are plenty of walks and the sea is 4km. Plenty of beaches and secluded areas. The Peloponnese has many attractions, including ancient archaeological sites, many byzantine churches and old villages. Kalamata is only 20 mins away and with a population of 70,000, you can find plenty of things of interest , there is a vibrant night life too if that's what you like, in Kalamata. Waterfalls an hour away, Caves which are visited by boat with stalagtites and there are also many small coves for swimming. advisable to book on line.

Other things to note
The farm over the fence provides me with eggs and meat if I want it.breakfast can be ordered @5€ each. there is no air con.
