Monthly Rentals in Sonoma Coast State Beach

We recently enjoyed a five-week stay at this incredible Airbnb nestled among the majestic redwood trees and serene running streams of the Russian River area. The house was immaculate and fully equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The sunroom was a highlight, offering a gorgeous space to relax. The high-speed internet was a significant advantage, as both my husband and I were working remotely and frequently participated in Zoom meetings without any issues. The property is very private, providing a peaceful retreat. It’s worth noting that there are approximately 50-80 stairs leading to the house. While this wasn’t a problem for us, it might be challenging for others. The location is excellent, being close to both Guerneville and Monte Rio, and just a short distance from the Russian River. A huge bonus was that we were able to bring our little pug, Joey, and he absolutely loved it too! We highly recommend this place.

We just loved our stay at Dan and Julia‘s Bodega Bungalow! The bungalow was in a perfect location with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. It was quiet and private but an easy seven minute drive to restaurants and markets. The bungalow was beautifully maintained and you could tell great thought and care went into the design of the home. It was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed for a long weekend stay. We especially appreciated the fact that there was a coffee grinder and French Press/Chemex instead of your typical Airbnb Keurig maker.For coffee lovers, this was a great added bonus! There was a laundry washer & dryer in the home, which we did utilize once after a long hike in the redwoods. The bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable. This was definitely one of our favorite Airbnb stays and Dan and Julia were very responsive hosts. The check-in process was smooth and easy as was checkout. We would absolutely stay here again. As other reviews have mentioned, this place is extremely well stocked and clean. The pantry had unexpired staples and good coffee (though a selection of teas would have been a nice touch). I had trouble finding the hairdryer and couldn't get the outdoor fire pit to work, but it wasn't a deal breaker. You'll find everything you need for your beach day: towels, chairs, umbrellas, and mats. The sauna is a nice treat. The beds were comfy. Like many Airbnbs, the place could use a good airing out upon arrival - only if those things bother you. The location is peaceful, but not very walkable to nearby beaches because it's right across from the highway with no discernible walkway or crosswalk, so be careful crossing it. We ended up driving there. The checkout instructions were super simple. I found the location perfect for our needs, and it’s a great base for exploring the area by car.

Just wow. The ocean view is what made me get this place and it was beautiful. Everything was as described with clear instructions on how to use things. My two brothers and I stayed here and we were very comfortable.
