Great place to stay... great community to visit!

Thank you again for the wonderful stay at your cabin! It met all our needs and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing weekend with friends! I appreciated your quick response to our questions.

Quiet Plenty of room Awesome deck Grill with propane Comfortable outdoor seating Firewood Cozy indoor seating area for coffee Clean bathroom with needed soaps and shampoos if needed Lots of towels All the needed kitchen utensils Soaps and cleaners Clean bedding Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and blankets It’s all in the little details Coffee pods And ground coffee Helped in a pinch since we forgot coffee. Saved us until we went to Walmart. Just a 15 minute drive Hot efficient oven and great stovetop Seasonings, salt pepper and more Noticed a blender and maybe a spiralizer which we didn’t use but someone could put to good use! Fancy auto open garbage can Even a snack drawer with assorted chips Clean clean clean! Tv already had a guest account for Netflix and Prime TV ready to use 2 night stands with lights! This seems like an odd perk to add but too often there’s only one nightstand and sometimes not even a light on the stand. Great spot for a getaway.

This is the third time we've stayed at one of Doug's properties, and as usual, it does not disappoint. We love coming to a peaceful, comfortable, and well-stocked (but not cluttered!) space that welcomes you from the moment you walk in. We enjoyed fresh eggs in the morning, walks to the river, and the great hikes just a short drive away. We spent hours listening to music on the sound system and cooking good food in a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen. Doug is an extremely thoughtful host, and we appreciated his quick responsiveness and flexibility with our check-in and check-out times. Though this was not a deterrent to our stay, one thing I thought worth mentioning for other travelers with dogs: springtime is definitely tick season in the river valley!
