Cottage vacation rentals in Sicily

Die Lage vom Haus, das Haus, der Pool und die Terrasse - alles war super. Es war mit Sicherheit eines der schönsten und ruhigsten Hauser. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Der Service von Lusovico ist auch top. Ich wüsste nicht was ich negatives schreiben soll. Die 800m Straße zum Haus ist in meinen Augen problemlos zu befahren. Wer diese Straße nicht fahren kann - soll seinen Führerschein der nächsten Oma übergeben oder immer mit dem Zug fahren. Lieber Ludovico, danke für den mega Service und die tolle Unterstützung bei dem Unfall von meiner Frau. Wir kommen wieder. Ganz sicher.

We had a very nice time at the Tenuta Carabollace, enjoying the beautiful place where each corner is carefully arranged, the great view and magical sand beach with very clean water 5 min from the house. Everything you need as a family with kids is offered at the place -from beach /pool toys to a washing machine and beautiful domestic animals. Can highly recommend the place and hope to be able to come back another time.

Antonellas īpašumā pavadījām nedēļu un bijām ļoti apmierināti. Atrašanās vieta bija fantastiska un skaista ar skatu uz jūru un kalniem. Ļoti laipna un viesmīlīga sagaidīšana. Saimnieki bija atsaucīgi un arī spēja dot ieteikumus par vietām kas jāapmeklē un restorāni kuros jāpabauda ir ēdiens visas nedēļas garumā. Īpašums deva ļoti klasisku piegaršu un apkārtne bija klusa un mierīga. Mājoklī ir pieejams viss nepieciešamais ērtai dzīvošanai un īpašums bijs sakopts.

Antonio est une personne très attentive au besoin et très serviable. On a même eut le droit à un petit cadeau gustatif du coin . Un cadre idéal et au calme pour pouvoir se reposer et profiter du paysage magnifique. Je recommande fortement Merci beaucoup

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit. Das Haus sah aus wie auf den Bildern und war sehr sauber. Der Pool war im November natürlich kalt, aber trotzdem sehr schön anzuschauen. Man hat hier seine Ruhe und kann dem Alltag entfliehen. Auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert!

We were in search of a rustic and remote side of Sicily, and Monica's place did not disappoint. Despite being within the same grounds as the main house, the little villa provides the perfect privacy with views of the infinity pool and gardens. As mentioned in many other reviews, Ciccio the Labrador is friendly and charming. He will come to your terrace and doorways but is well trained not to enter the house and is a soppy and playful boy. The decor and styling of the house is gorgeous with ample space to feel right at home. There was an issue with the boiler, but Monica was proactive to find solutions. Staying there in November meant chilly evenings but the AC unit worked really well as a heater and extra bedding was provided. We can't wait to come back in warmer months to make fuller use of the pool which Monica so generously shares with guests.

Enzo, Alessandra and Giacomo were warm and welcoming making us feel like family. They were excellent showing us around the house. Messeria Salamone is a beautifully decorated home with lovely fireplaces and several beautiful sitting areas. All the amenities were exactly as described. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were well equipped. The area surrounding the home is an awesome country location with breathtaking scenery. We would definitely stay at this home on our next visit to Nicosia Sicily.

Amazing airbnb, very stylish and comfortable. The only thing I wish I checked was the immediate outside space - it is located on the main street so the traffic noise was almost constant so it wasn’t possible to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. However, that’s my bad planning! Flora is very responsive and gives you lots of details of places to go and do around the area. Can’t fault the host. The garden is full of trees and plants too which is beautiful.

Dear Giuseppe, we really enjoyed the stay at your guesthouse. Despite the trouble we gave you (you know what I mean, sorry again!) your wife and you were incredibly kind and friendly and helpful. We loved the fresh and ripe Oranges and Lemons very much. The flowers in the backyard were in full bloom during our stay which we really liked. We also really appreciated the possibility to check-out a little bit later due of our flight schedule. All in all I absolutely recommend everybody staying with you! La Casetta was delightful. Well laid out with lots of interesting and quirky things and lots of beautiful plants in the outside. It felt so peaceful and safe. Sperlinga is a very interesting village - amazing castle and history with fab views in all directions. Very helpful hosts. Next time we would have more than two nights as there is lots to explore in the area.

Il cottage di Dario si è rivelato essere un posto molto tranquillo ed accogliente. Situato in una proprietà a pochi passi dal mare, in mezzo a ulivi, limoni ed altre piante è un oasi di pace. Il cottage prevede anche una zona esterna dove poter grigliare ed una doccia immersa nel verde, perfetta dopo una giornata di mare! Il nostro host, Dario, si è mostrato essere molto discreto ma reattivo e presente in caso di bisogno, sempre disponibile a consigliarci delle mete in linea con le nostre richieste. Grazie Dario, per l'accoglienza mostrataci ed un abbraccio ai tuoi cuccioloni che ci hanno fatto tanta compagnia durante il nostro soggiorno. Melanie & Paolo

Ein kleines Paradies mitten in der Natur. Mit ebensolch zauberhafter Gastgeberin : ) Wir haben uns äusserst wohl und wundervoll und aufgehoben gefühlt. Beinahe zu schön, die Oase zu verlassen, um Marion‘s zahlreichen Erkundungsvorschlägen nachzukommen… DANKE MARION! Es hätte bestimmt noch viel Spannendes zum Plaudern gegeben : )

It was a real fantastic accommodation, outside the hustle and bustle of city life we found this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The view is amazing and Giuseppe the best host you can get, very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!

Wer die Ruhe liebt, findet sie in jedem Fall in diesem schönen Cottage am Fuße des Ätnas. Uns hat besonders gut der Garten gefallen mit den Weinreben, Oliven- und Zitronenbäumen, den kleinen Nischen mit Sitzgelegenheiten und den wild bewachsenenen Ecken, wo die Kinder viel entdecken konnten. Das Haus ist sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet. Sowohl von der Terasse als auch vom kleinen Balkon aus hat man einen freien Blick auf den Nordkrater des Ätnas. Wir hatten Glück und konnten den Ätna beim Feuerspucken beobachten. Danke für das Fernglas! So konnten wir dem Schauspiel noch etwas näher kommen. An kühlen Abenden (im April) sorgt ein kleiner Ofen für wohlige Wärme. Sabine - unsere Gastgeberin - ist super freundlich und war jederzeit ansprechbar. Es hat uns sehr gut in der Villa Etna gefallen und wir können sie in jedem Fall empfehlen. Außer dem WLAN hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Aber auch das soll ja demnächst noch kommen...:)

The stay at Paolo and Anna has been amazing. They were very kind and made us feel really welcome. Their place is beautiful and peaceful, especially with Micho the cat. The room was very cozy and practical, it had everything we needed for our stay.

Agatas Sternenhaus war ein richtig gemütlicher Ort, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen! Mit ihren vielen Tipps haben wir viele tolle Orte und Menschen in Polizzi Generosa kennengelernt ☺️ Auch Palermo und Cefalú sind schnell erreichbar, was Abwechslung bringt (bei uns hat es sehr viel geregnet und das Haus lag oft in den Wolken / Nebel). Unbedingt mit einem Auto anreisen. Danke Dir, Agata, und alles Gute!

I would definitely recommend Corrado's place if you are looking for a bucolic, rural experience with breathtaking views of both the ocean and the countryside. Is Mum and Dad created us when we arrived with snacks in a bit of wine. Like all Sicilians that we've met, wonderful people!

Wir, 2 Erwachsene & 2 Kinder (3.5 & 1.5), haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Besonders geschätzt haben wir das geräumige Wohnzimmer mit der offenen Küche, den überdachten Aussenbereich mit grossem Esstisch und natürlich den Garten. Die Kinder haben viel draussen gespielt - da das Grundstück gut umzäunt ist, konnte man sie auch einfach laufen lassen. Die Location des Hauses ist einmalig: Das Meer auf der einen, die Berge auf der anderen Seite, dazu unglaublich viele Wildblumen (wir waren anfangs April da). Einmalig! Für naturbegeisterte Menschen absolut zu empfehlen!

Letizia ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin die sogar einmal für uns gekocht hat. Vielen Dank noch einmal. Es war alles perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Die Restauranttips waren ausgezeichnet und Letizia war immer zugegen wenn wir sie gebraucht haben. Den herrlichen Pool hatten wir ganz für uns alleine und konnten den wunderschönen Garten genießen. Vielen Dank Letizia und Orazio.

Eine abgelegene Hütte mit Holzofen und traumhaften Ausblick. Perfekt zum Entspannen! Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Den Strom kriegt man über die Solaranlage, das Wasser von einer Quelle. Man fühlt sich richtig wohl. Auch das Lokal des Vaters (Sebastiano) können wir sehr empfehlen zum Essengehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft ist in einer absolut ruhigen Lage mit einer traumhaften Aussicht über die Stadt. Wir haben Stunden damit verbracht am Balkon zu sitzen und die Landschaft zu bewundern. In der Unterkunft war auch alles wie beschrieben. Alles sauber und funktionstüchtig. Der einzige Kritikpunkt ist die etwas schwierige Anfahrt, da man sehr steile enge Straßen entlang irren muss um es zu finden. Aber Marta hat uns auch da sehr gut geholfen und uns den Weg beschrieben bis wir da waren!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Wir können die casa Frers wirklich zu 100% weiterempfehlen (und taten dies auch bereits). Wir haben 1 Monat im Februar und März hier verbracht und genossen jede Sekunde. Das Haus hat eine traumhafte Lage: Mitten in den Bergen mit Blick aufs Meer. Wir aßen oft draußen, gingen wandern und fuhren mit dem Auto durch die Bergdörfer. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet! Es gibt alles, wirklich alles, was man benötigt und es machte so Spaß in der professionell ausgestatteten Küche zu kochen (Mixer, Airfryer, Gasherd,…). Die Hälfte der Zeit arbeiteten wir remote und das Internet war extrem schnell und zu jeder Zeit zuverlässig! Nach Cefalù sind es 10 Minuten mit dem Auto und man kommt sogar an einer Eselfamilie vorbei (eines unserer Highlights!), die sich auch gern streicheln lassen :-). Antoanetta, die liebe Nachbarin, war immer erreichbar und gab tolle Restaurant-Tipps. Wir haben uns von Sekunde eins wie zuhause gefühlt und denken schon über den nächsten Urlaub nach. Grazie!!

We loved the countryside retreat and the large pool. Rosario was very friendly and gave lots of helpful suggestions. Luna (the dog) was extremely friendly and well behaved in the garden area. Plenty of space for the car and a peaceful area. Thank you for sharing your inviting home with us.

È stato un soggiorno piacevole e all'insegna del relax. La casa è molto accogliente, l'host è stato a piena disposizione per ogni inconveniente (come ad esempio hanno provveduto subito a sostituire la bombola del gas, finita mentre cucinavamo). L'area è completamente recintata, ottima per gli amici a quattro zampe!! La posizione garantisce una bellissima vista sul lago Prioli e sulle campagne circostanti. Una bellissima esperienza, sicuramente da rifare! :)
