Cottage vacation rentals in Sicily

The location of the house, the house, the pool and the terrace - everything was great. It was certainly one of the nicest and quietest homes. I can only recommend it. Lusovico's service is also top. I don't know what to write negative The 800m road to the house is easy to drive in my eyes. If you can't drive this road - you should hand over your driver's license to the next grandma or always take the train. Dear Ludovico, Thank you for the mega service and the great support in the accident of my wife. We will be back. Absolutely.

We had a very nice time at the Tenuta Carabollace, enjoying the beautiful place where each corner is carefully arranged, the great view and magical sand beach with very clean water 5 min from the house. Everything you need as a family with kids is offered at the place -from beach /pool toys to a washing machine and beautiful domestic animals. Can highly recommend the place and hope to be able to come back another time.

Beautifully manicured property. Breathtaking views. Salvatore from the management company was extremely helpful and kind. Really loved our stay and the town of Cefalu. Only negative was a loud barking dog nearby that barked at all hours, night and day.

Antonio is a very attentive and helpful person. We even got to enjoy a small tasty gift from the area. An ideal and quiet setting to rest and enjoy the beautiful landscape. I would highly recommend Thank you very much

We had the most lovely stay at this charming farmhouse with pool! The host was so kind and helpful. She arranged for a private dinner for us poolside and gave many recommendations for sightseeing.

We were in search of a rustic and remote side of Sicily, and Monica's place did not disappoint. Despite being within the same grounds as the main house, the little villa provides the perfect privacy with views of the infinity pool and gardens. As mentioned in many other reviews, Ciccio the Labrador is friendly and charming. He will come to your terrace and doorways but is well trained not to enter the house and is a soppy and playful boy. The decor and styling of the house is gorgeous with ample space to feel right at home. There was an issue with the boiler, but Monica was proactive to find solutions. Staying there in November meant chilly evenings but the AC unit worked really well as a heater and extra bedding was provided. We can't wait to come back in warmer months to make fuller use of the pool which Monica so generously shares with guests.

Enzo, Alessandra and Giacomo were warm and welcoming making us feel like family. They were excellent showing us around the house. Messeria Salamone is a beautifully decorated home with lovely fireplaces and several beautiful sitting areas. All the amenities were exactly as described. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms were well equipped. The area surrounding the home is an awesome country location with breathtaking scenery. We would definitely stay at this home on our next visit to Nicosia Sicily.

Amazing airbnb, very stylish and comfortable. The only thing I wish I checked was the immediate outside space - it is located on the main street so the traffic noise was almost constant so it wasn’t possible to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet. However, that’s my bad planning! Flora is very responsive and gives you lots of details of places to go and do around the area. Can’t fault the host. The garden is full of trees and plants too which is beautiful.

Dario was an incredible host. As soon as we arrived he made us extremely comfortable and was very quickly available to us. Dario advised us on great places (restaurants, beaches etc.) always with a personal touch. Regarding the accommodation: incredible. We have no other words. The sea view was our favorite moment every morning when we woke up and we enjoyed a drink on the terrace every evening. All the equipment was functional and even with a baby who likes to touch everything, we had no unpleasant surprises. Dario, thank you again for your kindness and hospitality. Sicily was easy to love but you gave us a wonderful first impression of the Sicilians. We'll be back!

Dear Giuseppe, we really enjoyed the stay at your guesthouse. Despite the trouble we gave you (you know what I mean, sorry again!) your wife and you were incredibly kind and friendly and helpful. We loved the fresh and ripe Oranges and Lemons very much. The flowers in the backyard were in full bloom during our stay which we really liked. We also really appreciated the possibility to check-out a little bit later due of our flight schedule. All in all I absolutely recommend everybody staying with you! This house is in a beautiful and quiet spot. Flavia will give you great recommendations to local restaurants and shops. As it says in the listing, you do really need a car here as you're not even in a village, but when you do have a car you then have easy access to Cefalù, Parco delle Madonie and smaller local towns. This was an emergency three night stay for us, as we had a cancellation elsewhere, but the house ended up being our favourite of the three places we stayed. The house itself has beautiful tiles throughout (no doubt due to Flavia's ceramicist father), an excellently stocked kitchen equipment cupboard, comfortable furnishings and wonderful outdoor spaces. Flavia even arranged for the pool to be opened early for us. She was one of the best Airbnb hosts I have met. Thank you!

Dario has an amazing place. somewhere to unwind and enjoy everything Sicily has to offer. Dario is the perfect host and makes you feel at home in the beautiful surroundings.

Marion is the most wonderful host - friendly, warm and very approachable. We enjoyed all the snacks she prepared and the delicious recommendations in the nearby town Castelbuono. We loved our stay in her detached stone cottage - beautiful surroundings and interiors, it was perfect and wished we could stay longer!

It was a real fantastic accommodation, outside the hustle and bustle of city life we found this oasis of peace and tranquillity. The view is amazing and Giuseppe the best host you can get, very thoughtful and communicative. Highly recommended!

Lovely little cottage with a lovely private outdoor area. The pool is great. Biagio is very kind and the communication was impeccable. We got very tasty cakes on the day of arrival and departure. An attention that we were very happy about. The place was sparkling clean! You should have a car to easily reach the beach, restaurants and supermarket.

Agata's star house was a really cozy place to unwind! With their many tips, we met many great places and people in Polizzi Generosa ☺️ Palermo and Cefalú are also quickly accessible, which brings variety (it rained a lot with us and the house was often in the clouds / fog). Corrado is an amazing host, very helpful and friendly. The location of the apartment is great, beautiful views and lots to see nearby. The apartment was very neat and comfortable. We would love to come back sometime!

The most beautiful view I’ve seen on airbnb. This property is full of amenities and it felt like home. The outdoor kitchen is superb! Gianluca did an amazing job and is an excellent hostess. I’d highly recommend this property. 5 stars ⭐️

We enjoyed the week's vacation at Francesco's place very much. The surroundings are very quiet and wonderfully located in nature, but you can still quickly get to the road, from where you can get to the interesting places in the area. Gabriele, the son of Francesco, was very friendly and helpful and always responded extremely quickly and efficiently to any problem. We recommend the accommodation and will also be happy to come back.

So enjoyed the setting, the views, the comfortable beds, the view of Mt Etna, the variety of places to sit outside and enjoy garden, grape vines or views of the mountain.

We stayed at Bartolo's house last week. Clean and comfortable home and very peaceful area. We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and the veranda from which we saw beautiful sunsets over the sea. We received a great welcome from Bartolo and his wife and they also offered us the very tasty cunzato bread as well as all the tips on restaurants, hikes and places to visit. Having spent a wonderful week we hope to return! Laura Marica and Simona.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We can really 100% recommend the casa Frers (and already did). We stayed here for 1 month in February and March and enjoyed every second. The house has a fantastic location: in the middle of the mountains overlooking the sea. We often ate outside, went hiking and drove through the mountain villages by car. The house is perfectly equipped! There is everything, really everything you need and it was so fun to cook in the professionally equipped kitchen (blender, air fryer, gas stove,...). Half the time we worked remotely and the internet was extremely fast and reliable at all times! Cefalù is a 10-minute drive away and you can even pass a donkey family (one of our highlights!), which also like to be petted :-). Antoanetta, the dear neighbor, was always available and gave great restaurant tips. We felt at home from second one and are already thinking about the next vacation. Grazie!!

We recommend this place for those who are looking for closeness to nature and wish to enjoy the authentic Sicilian countryside. We enjoyed our stay at this place.
