Gîte "des Ecuries" 8 pers au Château de Beaumesnil

florianRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Ideal stay for two families with children able to share bunk beds. No wifi, but we are not at Beaumesnil castle to spend your time on the web. The real interest of this cottage that remains expensive is the access to the castle park which is most of the time closed: a door to the cottage overlooks the interior of the castle, with an access in a huge garden full of farm animals, a paradise for kids, peacocking, geese, sheep, ducks, ducks, goats, pony. We were even able to visit the Chateau de Beaumesnil for free, the drawbridge was down. The heater works perfectly. Only Repproche: a corkscrew was missing… and that… would almost deserve a star less haha. Dear, but EXCELLENT VALUE for MONEY for families with children between 5-12 years old, especially to discover the countryside. Very proactive, nice hosts, hosting the castle in support. Super flexible check-in and checkout. (we left around 5pm) Congrats!!!
The charming exterior of the château is presented, featuring stone walls adorned with climbing ivy. Distinctive turret towers are visible on either side. A gravel pathway leads to the entrance, surrounded by lush greenery and a peaceful setting. Sunlight brightens the scene under a clear blue sky.

Château de la Bretèche in Sologne (15 people)

CarolineRating, 5 stars76 months ago
We had an exceptional stay. The owners are remarkably kind, discreet but very responsive, the castle is true to its description, easy to access and very well maintained. The children were able to frolic, we were able to enjoy exceptional time and have lunch outside. We will come back without hesitation, it is an address that must be kept for family or friends gatherings.

French Castle, 19th Century

ChristineRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Stay well suited to a family stay of about twenty people ( parents, children, spouses, small children). It was unanimous. The decor with a little tree and a few garlands were a welcome plus to the festive atmosphere. France was very responsive and had a very pleasant contact.
A charming stone house with a distinct turret is set within a spacious green lawn. The facade features multiple gabled roofs and large windows, surrounded by vibrant landscaping and mature trees under a clear blue sky.

Country house near Disneyland Paris

ColleenRating, 5 stars36 months ago
This property was amazing and so very French in design and furnishing. it was easy to get into Paris and to Disneyland. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. The grounds are delightful and the little village picturesque. The place suited all of us from the 7 year old to the 70 year olds. We would revisit.

Family castle near Beauvais Cathedral

ChantalRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I've had the pleasure and priviledge to travel to many beautiful homes since many years but this one really took my breath away. It's even more charming and magical in real life than on the photos. It has so much character and history bursts from every thoughful and antique detail. We had a blast and such a good time here and I will for sure never forget this. A bit more to the house: the beds were super comfy, the wifi was excellent in every room, everything from showers, toilets and kitchen machines worked properly, so no worries about that. Everything was spotless and prepared for us. We had a fantastic sunny week and enjoyed the light travelling through all the gorgeous rooms and our lunche outside in the sun. Lil tip: the chateau comes without heating and especially this early May it can get quite chilly during the night/evening hours, but nothing you can't compensate with packing some extra warm clothes - especially socks & slippers were a nice to have! :) all in a 10 out of 10!

The Columbus tree of the seventeenth century

ClaraRating, 5 stars12 months ago
a weekend at Valentine's, it's a green, quiet weekend, close to beaches, mansions and castles. The dovecote is bigger in real life than in photo, a beautiful outdoor space allows you to have lunch outside . Valentine is very attentive, always concerned about your well-being and is a source of very good advice for visits. The dovecote is tastefully decorated, and down to the last detail. an enchantment 2 hours from Paris!

Amazing place to stay. The studio we stayed in was awesome. Fresh and clean with everything we needed. The grounds were amazing and we just loved the peaceful private spaces. Kate and Paul were the best hosts and they were always able to help no matter what. The chateau is gorgeous and we loved our time there

Family manor in the Vexin, 1 hour from Paris.

PabloRating, 5 stars33 months ago
The property was absolutly wonderful, the photos don’t do it justice! I particularly appreciated the garden with its beautiful array of trees and patches of forest. The estate was so vast I dont think we made it to the edge. The house was extremly private and out of sight of any neighbours. The house itself was spacious and comfortable, so were the beds. I was working online and the internet connection was good, even with multiple connections, with a very nice dedicated workspace. The kitchen had every appliance imaginable, with enough crockery for a banquet! While I was there the trees were ripe with fruit and we were treated to pears, apples, rasberries, blackberries, stawberries, grapes and more. The chickens generously provided us with fresh eggs every morning and the peacocks were not only beautiful to watch but also friendly. Not to talk about the wild forna including squirels, pheasents, woodpekers and other small birds… It was a pleasure meeting Philippe who not was an excellent host; showing us around the property and being helpful with our questions, but also an excellent cook, perparing traditional french food for us per our request. He was fun to be around. Overall a great experience, we are already planning when we can visit again!

Large apartment in Neo-Gothic Castle

ClémenceRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We stayed at Benjamin's place for a weekend with friends and it was magical. The place is just beautiful, whether it's the building just amazing but also the apartment as such full of charm thanks to its atypical and warm decoration. This is their real home, and we immediately felt very welcome. The accommodation is well located, close to Orleans center, right next to the zenith very easily accessible by foot. Finally, Benjamin was very available by message. We made a free entrance and exit but everything went very well thanks to excellent communication and very clear explanations. In short, we recommend it!
