Vacation rentals with beach access in Schroon Lake

A friend and I stayed at The Railhouse for 5 nights over the course is US Alpine Masters Nationals. The house is cute, cozy and clean. Rebecca has clearly taken great care to have everything her guests might need, and to make the place comfortable and fun for an extended stay in the area. Rebecca was friendly and very helpful and responsive; an amazing host. Location is amazing - 5 minutes from Gore, RIGHT in town, but private, walkable to the shops and a great coffee shop (shout out to Sarah’s). Look forward to staying again

The place so so clean and had anything needed. we were there for a wedding on the lake. location could not have been any better. super easy to find.

This place was a in a good location to be in to get around to the surrounding areas like Saratoga and Lake George. It was exactly as described and had no complaints. We had 7 guests and were able to fit comfortably. The host was responsive and ready to help if need be.

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

Peter is a very nice gentleman. Always checking to make sure things are well and there are no problems. Will definitely be back. ❤️

This lakeside gem was the setting for one of the most restful and beautiful stays we’ve ever had with Airbnb. I loved sitting every morning on their porch to take in the first bit of morning light, and every suggestion made by our host was better than the last. I’ve visited Vermont several times, but I was blown away by all of the hidden treasure suggested by our host - everything from thrift shops to the best cafes. My two kids had a blast here as well. I would highly recommend for couples, families, or friend groups looking to have fun together.

We had the incredible pleasure of staying at Elyse’s home in the days leading up to our wedding, and I can honestly say it was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. The house itself is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of charm. Every room has its own personality, and the views of Schroon Lake are simply breathtaking. Waking up to the morning mist and soft fog rolling over the water felt like something out of a dream. Whether we were sipping coffee on the cozy deck, relaxing by the fire, or enjoying dinner in the sunroom overlooking the lake, every moment was serene. Elyse and her husband were the most gracious hosts—thoughtful, kind, and genuinely warm. You can feel the care they’ve poured into this home and the joy they take in sharing it. We couldn’t recommend this place more to anyone looking for a restful escape or a meaningful stay in nature. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The location was beautiful as always. The location is perfect as it takes you out on the main street of Schroon Lake. Wonderful place to stay, roomy, comfortable and ideally located.

Had an absolute wonderful time at Amy’s place. If you are looking for a quiet and beautiful spot, this is the place for you! Whether you want to sit by the fireplace and roast some marshmallows or go kayaking, it was a wonderful experience. Amy was responsive and answered all of my questions. Will definitely be booking again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The lake is peaceful and beautifully scenic surrounded by mountains, with a great view from the large picture windows in the living area. Kayaking and canoeing were great! Our son stayed at the Studio bachelor pad until his older sibling arrived and kicked him out; a perfect size for couple also. Close to Six Flags and Lake George. House was pristine. Great layout for family fun!

Friends and I stayed at Julius’ place for the Blackfly Bike Race, it was conveniently located for the race and well suited for a weekend with friends. Nice amenities and beautiful views as well.

Our stay was great. Nice big yard for activities. Great views of lake and mountains. Plenty of space and bedrooms for larger groups. Host was very helpful and accommodating.

Beautiful place. Was accessible for our grandma to come and walk around and to the beach. Having the one downstairs bedroom and bathroom made it all the more convenient. Host supplied towels, sheets, kayaks, firewood and anything you would need for an enjoyable trip. A perfect setting and have everything at the house to not have to leave for your entire stay. Looking to rebook next year!

Host response time was exceptional, Directions and local tips excellent. The house was CLEAN. We stayed in winter surrounded by over three feet of snow so there wasn’t too much opportunity to adventure out on the property, but the views from within the warmth of the house were beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked, everything placed thoughtfully and convenient. Kids loved the game room. We brought a Roku and enjoyed family movies while wood burning stove toasted the rooms. Bedrooms large and comfortable. The drive was plowed and easily managed despite all the snow. Only 17 minutes from Gore Mountain, we felt happily lost in the deep Adirondacks. Would recommend and come back. Thanks Alex and Suzette!

Gina was always lighting fast to respond and very kind and agreeable. The house was absolutely lovely, just as described and worth the price. Highly recommend!

A amazing house in a wonderful location! Could not have asked for a better bnb spot while working 26 hours from home. Cherri made us feel at home and was very sweet and understanding. Would highly recommend this beautiful home😁

it was a great cozy place to stay. though there was a storm and the area had a water outage, the support folks got back to me immediately and were ready to provide alternative accommodation if necessary. but luckily the water supply was back on time, and I was kept in the loop throughout.

We stayed a month at Nisha’s place. We loved how peaceful it was and beautiful. Being able to access the pond right down the hill was a plus! The pond was wonderful for paddleboard and kayaking! We were there thru the tornado and Nisha was responsive and concerned about our well being. We had to stay in a hotel two nights but it all worked out! Overall a great stay and incredibly relaxing. Wonderful neighbors was a plus! 😊

The place is clean, quiet and peaceful. Lots of towels, there are basic toiletries like soap, shampoo and conditioner were provided. We enjoyed watching the birds in the morning. I will recommend this place to friends. Hopefully we can go back during the summer to experience the lake.

Very peaceful and scenic getaway. Guests should be aware that recent wind damage rendered the tennis and pickleball courts out of service. Also, canoes and kayaks are not available after 10/1.
