The location is strategic: perfect for easy access to numerous scenic trails, nature trails and places of cultural and tourist interest. Great base for exploring the area, without sacrificing comfort and serenity.

One of my best AirBNB experiences, I slept really well in this lovely apartment. The exterior of the building was quaint and had character but the insides were modern, recently renovated and tastefully decorated. Fontecchio is a small but really charming little village and a great base to explore this corner of Abruzzo. The only thing is that public transport is extremely limited in this kind of rural area so you will have to rent a car if you are thinking of staying in Fontecchio. But otherwise, I rarely give out such great reviews on AirBNB - this is definitely an excellent choice, I truly recommend this place based on my great experience. Every time we encountered a minor issue, Fabrizio and Todd looked into it and took care of it at once, you can't ask for more. Thanks so much for a great holiday.

Super nice and cozy apartment, very quiet, with a beautiful view of the valley. Located inside Castelvecchio Calvisio village that deserves to be visited for its particular alleys dotted with arches and aerial stairs. It is also a great starting point for visiting Campo Imperatore, Rocca Calascio and the surroundings. Hosts who are available and kind right away, welcoming even with our dog!
