Apartment vacation rentals in Santa Maria a Monte

We had a great time at Sara’s place, she welcomed us in with some eggs from the hens that they keep in the garden. There’s lots of attractions for kids, like chickens, 2 donkeys and some furry friends, a playground that my daughter really enjoyed playing in and balls and toys. The apartment is beautiful, the grounds are so peaceful and the view is spectacular. There’s quite a bit to do within 30 minutes drive. I wish we could stay longer. I’d like to visit again in the summer 😍

What a wonderful apartment - I come to Tuscany regularly and always stay in AirBnB and this would have to be one of my favourites. Everything is exactly as described with all the extras in the kitchen and 3+ supermarkets an easy walk (as well as smaller stores). Its <15mins walk from the train and mostly flat so very manageable with suitcaese. Pistoia is a great place - much less touristy than even Prato (never mind Lucca and Florence) but an easy short train ride away from these and others and a fantasic selection of dining options. I can't recommend highly enough!

We had a great time at Elisabetta's place. The place is spacious and ideal for rest. The garden and the view from the house is beautiful. The welcome was warm and we really appreciated Elisabetta's attention: the Easter brioche🐣.

Beautiful apartment right in San Miniato. From there you can walk to restaurants and attractions. The apartment is very cozy and perfectly equipped.

The apartment is beautiful. It’s easy to walk to restaurants, grocery stores and sightseeing. Luca and Federica were very friendly and helpful. They gave a variety of recommendations from eating, to sightseeing to shopping. The apartment provided a wonderful opportunity for us to live like a “local”. We had a great time.

What a great place! Would highly recommend. The apartment is really well equipped & has lots of extras (tea, coffee, wine, beer, snacks) It’s a short walk into the walled city of Lucca which is beautiful & has a wide range of bars & restaurants. It’s also next to the railway station so makes visiting Pisa & Florence really easy if you want to use the train. We had a hire car so the secure parking space was great.

A great accomodation in a small village! The apartment is located on the ground floor and has its own fenced garden! We had a fantastic time. The landlady was totally nice, responded quickly and our check-in and check-out times were nicely postponed to our advantage! Thanks for that! There is a well equipped kitchen, a barbecue and a pretty terrace with great views over the rooftops of the place! The bed is big and comfortable! The place was very clean and well maintained! There were a few nice restaurants within walking distance. We had a lovely time!

Words can’t explain how perfect this place was! We’ve stayed in luxury hotels that weren’t this amazing! Not to mention, Lucia is so kind and patient. I like when the owner meets us as it shows they take pride in their Airbnb. I can say the pictures on Airbnb don’t do it justice. The neighborhood and city is magical.

Francesca was an incredible host who supplied us with some great tips on local places to visit and eat at. Her welcome with some snacks and drinks were above and beyond expectation. The accommodation was excellent, and also nice to be able to use the washing machine. Will definitely recommend to friends and family, and would rebook if we return to the area.

We only stayed 2 nights at Laura’s apartment in Lucca. It looked just like the photos. Communication was good, as were the nearby restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would recommend

Stayed her for 3 night with our family of 4 (2 kids ages 5 and 9). The place is better than the pictures. Beautiful outdoor area, lots of space for kids to run and swim. Location is close to restaurants including one of our best meals in Italy - “Da Benito”. Franco was attentive and kind. They even made us a welcome meal/wine. The place had everything you could imagine needing and more ie. Robes/slippers. Our only regret is not staying longer. Will definitely be back! Book it, you will not regret it!

AMAZING stay. More beautiful than the photos. Spotless. 5 min drive to Siena. View of the wine country. Bed was more comfortable than my bed at home. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful.

We felt very comfortable with Alessandra and everything was as described. For our son (1.5), Alessandra provided everything you could ever need - cots, blankets and high chair - we didn't miss anything. The place is nicely decorated and the private wellness area is simply awesome! 🤩 While our junior was asleep, we were able to relax and unwind. Communication with Alessandra is super fast, easy and always very accommodating. We will definitely be back when we go back to Tuscany ☺️

Stunning location in the heart of Florence! Beautiful, spacious rooms with one-of-a-kind frescos and garden space. The hosts were kind and flexible: we would stay again in a heartbeat!! Grazie mille!

Very perfect experience, the decoration in the room can feel the host's care.Each room has its own private garden, where you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset views from the homestay.Excellent location, close to Siena, convenient to go to Pienza, highly recommended!

Luca’s apartment overlooking the piazza was absolutely perfect! There were reviews about it being loud but honestly we were so tired every night from enjoying the beauty of Florence that I didn’t even notice any noise. The location couldn’t have been any better & it was a perfect space for my husband and I. Thank you Luca!!

If you wanna do social ig picture and tell to the world that you are in Florence , there is no other place more characteristic then this one . Wonderful . My girlfriend is still thanking me

Superb spot close to river. Bed is confortable. Yes, stairs could be a challenge for some only it is clearly stated. At the end of the day, it’s alright!

After another Airbnb mishap, Gianluca was so accommodating to allow to book and check in late last minute. He even met us there personally to be sure we got in okay. He even had the fold out couch ready with linens and provided a few breakfast items. The place was better than we’d hoped, location was fantastic, updated and perfectly clean! We would absolutely stay here again. This place will be one of the highlights of our trip!

Matteo, Neri, and Alessandra went above and beyond for us on this trip. We had an issue with our stay elsewhere and they helped us in every way to make it smooth for us for stay in our apartment. They even helped us move to another one as well. We are truly grateful. The apartment itself is everything you would want. Super spacious, clean and comes with all the amenities (full working kitchen and all the basic things you would need). There’s also an elevator which is a huge plus! The view is amazing as well. We can see the Ponte Vecchio and with the doors closed, it is still very peaceful and quiet. Location is the best in Florence in my opinion. It’s close to everything without being in the huge crowds. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you again Matteo! We hope to be back soon!

Location, location, location is the key to Emily's flat. It was easy to find, easy to explore Lucca on foot and near to local shops and restaurants, The flat was clean and comfortable. The terrace was lovely however, the one thing beyond Emily's control is the traffic noise. It was very noisy when one tried to have a snooze on the terrace in the late afternoon or read a book (which we did). However, I had earplugs so I popped them in and voila all was good! All in all a lovely place to stay and would recommend particularly if you have a car. Btw parking charges outside the flat are very cheap but beware over the summer period there is a temporary extension of the parking meter hours which is not on the machine. Parking charges are extended on Fridays and Saturdays (8am - 11pm). All other days it is 8am - 8pm. We didn't realise so got a ticket at 2245 on the Saturday evening which was rather puzzling until the man in the tourist office looked it up on a local website!

Antoniatta and her husband are very kind and friendly. We had a good time in there, she prepared a cute baby bed for our son, he loved sleeping in there. We got cold nights, but she provided a portable radiator that made our room warmer for our baby. The access to Siena city center is very easy with buses all the time, the walk to the bus stop is around 15 minutes (a but dangerous, because it is a road, but fine if you are careful). I recommend her place. Thanks
