Hidden gem in Tuscany

MitchellRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Where to start? I truly can't say enough good things about this property. It exceeded expectations in every way. From start to finish, our time here was a delight. Amanda was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location is remote, and a bit of adventure to get to, but Amanda had communicated that and we were prepared with the proper rental car that made it a breeze. The house is beautifully appointed, has every amenity, and lots of perfect spaces for both quiet moments and areas to gather with your group. The outdoor spaces and pool area are lovely, beautifully landscaped, and the views are spectacular. Book this place; you won't be sorry.

Casa Ora d"Oro - Panoramic Views

Jason AllenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
first I love his neighbors who checked us in. Cinzia was amazing. She not only showed us our place but took our kids to show us her farm. she also makes her own olive oil and gifted us with some! Wonderful Italian neighbors!! I contacted Rocky in advance and he provided me with specific recommendations for where we should go during a long drive we took. we went where he suggested and was not disappointed! Amazing quiet location with great near by wineries. would 100% recommend to everyone!

B&B "Alle cime"

RaviRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Pictures don’t do the property and spectacular view justice. We had an amazing family holiday, our host couldn’t have been more accommodating, even leaving us kind gifts. Location was perfect (close enough to town and the airport but feeling secluded), having a bathroom each was great, and again that view was stunning. It all made for a perfect family trip :)

Traditional stone house in Tuscany

JanaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Everything was perfect, we have & had nothing to complain about. Alessandro was very friendly, arranged a cook for us and knew the answer to all questions. The accommodation, garden and pool are a dream. Very well maintained, in good condition but without appearing sterile. This also applies to all the amenities and the cozy beds. The garden was a dream, everything very nicely maintained. The location is perfect - you are alone in nature, the little-traveled road is a bit away and you have peace.

Casa di Lyndall - Entire house with exclusive pool

TerriRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This home is the epitome of a classic villa in the chianti region. Lecchi is very a small village that is walkable to a market, bar & cafe, and one of the best dinner spots we visited in our entire trip to Italy - the Malborghetto restaurant is a must! We rented a car for this week of our trip, and would highly recommend doing so. There are many nearby villages with great trattorias and shopping options - and gorgeous views everywhere you turn. Casa di Lyndall is a roomy, well appointed home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean, and very comfortable, and the view out the front windows is beyond compare. Lyndall was very responsive and provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do during our stay. Clementina greeted us when we arrived and was so sweet and helpful. There is nothing we would change about our stay!

La Casetta

LauraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautiful, peaceful stay. Amazing, secluded location. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming - made us feel right at home. Lots of great walks around, including the nearby winery. The only downside is it does get rather cold in the stone apartment but during warmer weather the coolness in the apartment would probably be perfect. They provided a portable heater & a hot water bottle though which was nice. Thank you Tebea for being such a lovely host!

Tuscan dream in the ancient Tobacco's villa, sauna

JacquelineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house is beautiful and unlike anything else. What made the experience amazing was one of the hosts, Daniela. Daniela greeted us upon check in, walked us around the house and went above and beyond and booked us a wine tour where he graciously translated everything in English during the entire experience. Daniela made the place feel like home and I couldn’t recommend him and the experience he provides more.

Infinity view

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a wonderful time at Lucia's place! The views from the veranda were breathtaking. We loved exploring Loro Ciuffenna and never missed a morning coffee sat on the beautiful bridge. We stocked up on local produce from the weekly market and enjoyed making lunches and sitting out on the veranda. I would highly recommend booking a wine tasting and lunch at Semboloni Winery and visiting the hilltop town of Cortona. We will be back!

We felt very comfortable from the beginning in this charming and quiet house with the magnificent view of olive trees and the lake. The location is idyllic, the furnishings thoughtful and comfortable. The atmosphere has triggered a feeling of retreat and deceleration in us – almost like in a mountain hut: safe, relaxed and welcome. A heartfelt thank you to Victoria and Samira for the always attentive and loving care!

House of Roses

CathyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Denyse's place was perfect for our 6 day vacation in Cortona. We wanted a restful spot with easy access for day trips. For 2 couples it was wonderful with one large bedroom and bath on different floors, up to date kitchen and best of all -- the rooftop terrace. Since the place is next to the city wall -- we had sweeping views of the Tuscan valley and the historic buildings. Easy walking distance to plazas and restaurants (be prepared for some uphill). Someone from Together in Tuscany was usually at the Tourist Info center so it was wonderful to stop there and speak to Isabella if we had any questions or issues. . She was very responsive on What's App too. Denyse always responded promptly before and during our visit as well. They also arranged a walking tour of Cortona for us. This place was a gem and I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a peaceful and restorative vacation.

Villa Medici Donnini Superior Apartment

RobertRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay could not have been better. From the beautiful mountain view to the perfect living space, we had one of our most memorable trips to Italy ever. The area is a private, tiny village set on a mountain top. It made for a great base to take all kinds of day trips to surrounding cities and towns. Alessio could not have been a better host. He did everything possible to ensure our trip was perfect, which it was.

Lovely home to dream

KyraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Charming little apartment in a quiet village with a beautiful view! Sara was very helpful and responsive and flexible with us. Had a lovely stay :) One thing that I think is important to note is accessibility: You cannot drive into the historic center of the village and have to park in area outside and walk uphill to get into the village. This was okay for us, but I did think that this should be clear for those who may not be able to walk uphill well, especially with your luggage.

Three room apartment in a single house

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
In May 2025, we spent a week at Federica's - it was a wonderful time The apartment is spacious, super clean and in reality more beautiful than shown in the photos. The large terrace, where you can directly look out over the beautiful olive garden. A quiet environment, but the location is perfect for exploring the area. 15 minutes by car to Perugia - but Umbria is not only Perugia: Assisi - simply a must, then also e.g. Gubbio, Sansepolcro, Cortona, Spello and much more. Fantastic architecture, churches, palaces, museums with countless masterpieces by artists, which you can otherwise only read about in books or catalogs. Our hostess - Federica is an exceptionally friendly, nice and helpful person, she gave us many interesting tips, that have greatly enriched our vacation. Overall, absolutely recommended - it makes you feel right at home- we would love to come back anytime. Our rating 5 stars + Best regards from Joanna and Bogdan.

Casale with pool -Ad Galli Cantum- Vesper

TanyaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This has to be one of the best air bnb’s I have ever stayed in. Only positive things to say, it is such a beautiful air bnb from the views, pool, grounds to the apartment itself. We felt so lucky getting to wake up to the views there every day. The pictures don’t fully represent how wonderful it is. Elena and her family were also so welcoming and friendly. The grounds are beautifully kept and the apartment had everything we needed and every detail was thought of. The location itself was also great, Citta Della Pieve is a lovely town, with less tourists than some of the towns in Tuscany. The Umbrian countryside is gorgeous. It’s a great base to also drive to the Tuscan countryside and towns such as Pienza and Val D’Orcia which took about an hour. I would rate even more than a 10/10, it absolutely made our holiday. Driving is a must!

Charming town and perfect place to use as home base for day trips. Can’t think of one negative comment. Perfect place, location, hosts & vacation spot 🇮🇹🍝🍕🍷❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
