Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Peter

This is a very well furnished, well equipped and spacious apartment with a helpful and responsive host. We usually stay in a different location in this marina, and of course noticed some differences. The main one is that David’s apartment is a little nearer the road than our other haunt, but this would not bother town-dwellers who are used to a bit of traffic noise. It’s a minor point, and overall this is a good solid choice for a luxurious holiday spot, especially if you like watching boats leaving and entering the marina. Top communications and service. Overall five stars.

Great village in a tranquil location. Amazing terrace, very good equipped, clean villa with everything you need. Great value, just a 5 km away from Heywood beach or Nikki Beach. Just remember to have a car for moving around the island. Faith was very helpfull. Thank you once again.

Lisa was friendly and very helpful from the point of initial contact and throughout our stay. Apartment is in a beautiful location. Although Port St Charles is a sizeable marina, it always felt private and was peaceful. All staff onsite were professional, friendly and helpful. Complimentary water taxi service was very much appreciated, between apartment to beach, pool and restaurant areas. Saying that all were within walking distance too. Both of Lisa's housekeeping ladies were friendly and did a superb job. Would certainly recommend this property.

Our favourite place to be in the world! Amazing staff, helpful, friendly and treat us like family from the time we arrived until check out. Great place and a very generous welcome gift. Everything we needed was supplied. The accommodation was comfy and homely, we will definitely return and would happily recommend to other guests. A major benefit is the free sun loungers, as these can be costly on other beaches when you have an apartment. We like and return each year to Speightstown as it is quiet, though there are still restaurants and facilities.

We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Chitra greeted us with a warm welcome and went above and beyond with everything from ensuring we were well stocked with toiletries to answering all of our questions. The unit is well equipped and well located. We hope to return again soon!

Just had a wonderful stay at Schooner Bay in Speightstown. Well appointed, lovely apartment with pool and ocean views. Serene beach. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. But best of all the community - incredible staff at Schooner Bay, kind local residents. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We stayed for 5 nights with a group of 7 and it was a great stay. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The views of the Caribbean from the balconies are amazing. John was very responsive and d met us at the villa to show us how everything worked. There are several good restaurants that are walkable from the villa and the grocery store is across the street. Overall, it was a great experience. We didn’t spend a ton of time at the beach at the villa (even though it was a wonderful beach) because we wanted a few more waves. The beach at the villa is very calm and there is some snorkeling, there also. Overall we had a great time.

We stayed at Steven’s apartment for 10 days and had an amazing holiday (2 couples). The apartment was wonderful and just as described and there were lots of additional touches that were really thoughtful such as the Cool box and ice blocks and a couple of snorkels. The Sugar Hill complex was beautiful and peaceful. The pools were a lovely temperature (lit at night and open until 9pm) and grounds very well kept. We had a couple of lovely lunches at The Deck (Shrimp Pad Thai excellent!) and the rum punch during happy hour very good. We utilised the Fairmont beach club membership particularly to go and watch the sunsets but also travelled around the Island - which always felt friendly and safe. Kavell was super responsive when we had any questions. I had to do some work whilst out here so had to use the table on the balcony (only minor point was that there wasn’t an electric socket close by). It is an approx 20 min walk down the hill (via Store house Road) to the beach club.

Probably one of the best locations in Port Saint Charles. Has a view over the ocean on one side and over the marina on the other side providing sun when you want it, shade when you want it and interest any time. The apartment itself is stylishly kitted out and has every amenity you could wish for. We have been coming to the island for over 25 years and finally found this apartment which is probably our favourite accommodation from all that we have had.

Our stay at Villa 403 was absolutely wonderful. From the communication before we arrived with Sandy, the warm welcome and early check-in with Dawn we were made to feel very welcome. VotB is ideally located, beaches are stunning and quiet during our stay. The pool and gardens are beautiful and well maintained. We loved the local restaurants; check out Zacchio's next door, and the 'Life is Sweet' Dessert bar across the road. Activities available to book from Holetown beach if you want them; we enjoyed a boat trip with snorkelling stops where we swam with turtles & stingray. The vendors are not pushy and we felt very safe and welcomed by them. Of course, the highlight of our sty was Coral! the listing does not make it clear that Villa 403 has the most marvellous housekeeper, Coral, who will make your stay magical! nothing was too much trouble for her- she washed our laundry (which smelled amazing!),shopped & cooked amazing Bajan food. We loved our stay and would rebook without question

Great stay at Paraschiva’s condo. Loved the view of the water from the enormous balcony. Beautiful beach with wonderful staff and water sports available next door. Communication could not have been better. The only thing I would note is that although there is an elevator, it stops between floors so you always have to go up or down a half flight of stairs. Definitely not wheelchair accessible.

My wife and I plus four family members treated ourselves to a stay at 211 Port St Charles and it certainly did not disappoint. Irwin (the owner ) and his wife warmly greeted us and made sure we were familiar with the ins and outs of the condo. They kindly answered our many questions taking all the guess work out of settling into a new place.This gesture was very much appreciated by all of us. The condo is very well appointed and comfortable and being on the second floor ( no worries there is an elevator) offers great views over the lagoon. The three bedrooms with ensuites allowed our group of six privacy and comfort. We had access to two beaches and two pools with complimentary loungers and parasols (a priceless commodity in Barbados). If you are looking for a secure location with great amenities, then 211 Port St Charles is what you are looking for. We can’t wait to return.

Wow what an amazing week we have had. We would highly recommend Melanie’s place, it is perfect and exactly like the photos and reviews. Location is perfect you have everything right on your doorstep (beach, supermarket, bars, restaurants, shops and bus stop) the views are incredible especially the sunset which we always enjoyed watching from the balcony. The grounds are so well kept and very pretty, we had the pools to ourselves most days. We are so glad we went for Melanie’s apartment over a hotel. We came back from Barbados engaged and will forever have that wonderful memory. Barbados we will be back and we would stay at Melanie’s place again.

We were excited to be back in Vuemont for a nice quiet relaxing vacation. Liz was very welcoming and gave us all the instructions for the villa and recommendations for restaurants and stores near by. The location was private and quiet. The villa was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. We highly recommend Liz and her property for a great peaceful vacation location.

Paul & Cleo are wonderful hosts. We want to return next year. This three bedroom unit exceeded all our expectations. The nice surprise was having a fridge stocked with cold beverages.

Porters Place is a beautiful development. The villa was lovely just as the photos had shown and very well equipped. The location was perfect - a five minute walk to La Baguette bakery for yummy breakfasts, 10 minute walk to the beach, easy access to the supermarket and restaurants, and we loved being able to pick lettuce from the garden for our meals in. A lovely touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The only negative we encountered was the main bedroom bathroom door that jammed leaving me stuck in the bathroom and the shower drain going on a go slow towards the end of our holiday. Andrew acknowledged the issues and they were to be addressed after we left. All in all a great holiday villa - to be recommended

Amazing family holiday at Clare’s property which is perfectly located on the West Coast in beautiful surroundings. The property has everything you could possibly need and Clare was helpful from start to finish in responding and allowing flexibility with check out arrangements. I had to give a lower score for getting into the property as we had an issue with the lock box being jammed on arrival but this was rectified and Clare responded despite it being late at night in the UK. We would certainly return! Thank you Clare

A fantastic villa in the heart of Royal Westmoreland and close to the Sanctuary. Clean and beautifully furnished with great outdoor space. Brigitte was attentive, friendly and professional and great to deal with throughout. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in Annie’s villa which is spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view from the huge veranda. Lovely walk around the community and a picnic under the pergola in the grounds with a 180 degree view of the ocean. Annie was very communicative, helpful and responsive. The villa is just around the corner from the Clubhouse which we had to ourselves most of the time when we went there. There’s a supermarket (Trimart) at the bottom of the road with ice cream and vegetable/fruit stalls nearby.

The villa was beautiful and spacious and felt very much like home. Everywhere we wanted to go was a short drive away like Tides Restaurant and Mullins beach. The access card from the villa was a huge plus with access to Mullins Resort carpark and free beach chairs and towels at the beach. Would definitely recommend this place and hoping to return in the summer!
