In the wild side of the island right in front of the Atlantic Ocean a little piece of paradise to spend a piecefull vacation away from "the world". Two Bedrooms King and Queen, one bathroom, kichen and living room a great patio at two minutes walk from the beach
“Fabio’s beach getaway far exceeded my expectations. The beach is walking distance, but you can see it from the balcony. The place was spotless and the location was quiet and relaxing. There isn’t much around as far as shops, eateries, etc but that is exactly why we enjoyed it. We cooked at home and bought from the local fresh fruit/veggie stand up the road. We had a morning visit from a cool little monkey, and she just sat and watched as we drank our coffee on the porch. My girlfriend loved the salon quality hair products offered. Fabio was a fantastic host and we are already planning on when we can get back there! Thank you thank you.”
Enjoy a beautiful house of spectacular sea views, surrounded by nature, with an open plan, loft and decks. Located between the beaches of Bathsheba and Martin's Bay in a non residential/touristy area. This area has more of a local village flavour.
“If you are seeking to experience a stay in Eco style accommodation and enjoy the natural scenic beauty and wildlife that Barbados has on offer, you have found the right place. Talking Trees offers plenty of space, we particularly enjoyed the almost wrap-around verhandas and the hammocks from where we saw a family of Green Monkeys on our first morning. There is loads to see and do on this side of the island. We loved Huntes Gardens where we met the owner, one can easily spend a couple of hours in this small piece of paradise. Further north is St. Nicholas Abbey, well worth a visit and is also close to the wild life centre. Try to get there for the 2pm feeding time, it was manic! Travelling to the furthest north we witnessed the most amazing waves near the Animal Flower Cave which made up for the caves not being open due to the spectacular crashing waves. Within a few miles of TT there are a few good restaurants. We particularly liked the Round House. We made use of Angeliques jeep, which was perfect for getting around, as the roads are not the greatest with numerous potholes. Finally Angelique was a great host, always prompt with responses despite being in Europe at the time of our stay.”
If you were any closer to the Caribbean, you'd be getting your feet wet! The Moorings apartments are situated on one of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast. You can enjoy breakfast on your huge private veranda overlooking the deep blue sea, and watch the sun turn the blue sky to pink every evening. Fitts Village is close to Holetown, Bridgetown, golf courses and public transport. It's great for couples, and families (with kids). We think you'll love it
“Well, what can we say? A trip to paradise. There were so many great points, I thought it easiest to just list the highlights; - incredible beach front location with private sun loungers (which are put out and cleared away for us every day!) - snorkelling with turtles straight off the beach (my husband became an avid turtle spotter!) - watching baby turtles hatch right on the beach - pina coladas on the beach from Il Tempio next door to apartment (happy hour 4-6pm every day) - amazing sunsets, different every evening; we watched either from our balcony or on the beach - huge, open plan apartment with very big balcony, ideal for eating or sunbathing or just watching the waves lap at the shore - Jordan’s supermarket literally just opposite so very easy to get food. We also enjoyed lunch most days from the canteen to the right of Jordan’s (if you’re facing it); macaroni pie, chicken and veg most days! - reggae bus stops right outside so dry easy to get around. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back in Barbados one day (when the £ strengthens again!!!)”
