The small apartment offers everything you need for an entertaining vacation. It is centrally located, Oistins can be easily reached on foot and Bridgetown can be easily reached by minibus. From here you can explore Barbados very well. Beds are very comfortable and Desmond was available at all times. It is located at the end of a dead end and you feel very safe there.

We had a wonderful stay! The beach is beautiful and so close. The apartment was well-equipped, clean & comfortable. David shared helpful information about the nicest spots on the beach and Antoinette was really helpful during our stay. I’d definitely recommend a stay!

During my recent visit to Barbados I stayed at Blue Haven and from the first to final encounter all staff members made a positive impression — they were helpful, kind, and very hospitable. The apartment was in prestige condition, with a FULLY stocked kitchen. Upon our arrival our room was beautifully decorated for me and my partners anniversary. The location is perfect with a nearby breakfast cafe (Bliss Cafe), local market, restaurants, and buses which transport you to many beaches or other parishes (which I recommend). Staying at Blue Haven genuinely allowed me to have a local experience. I would absolutely stay here again when revisiting the beautiful island of Barbados!

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Suzanne ’s place! The place was spotlessly clean, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being close to dining options and an amazing beach walking distance. We were provided with clear instructions for check-in and I loved the little touches like complimentary snacks and necessities. Definitely recommend!

I’m currently in a wheelchair recovering from back surgery so my accommodations needs are special. Gale was awesome and respectful of my disability and always responds if you have any questions. Wish I could give them 10 stars.

I can’t say enough good things about Blue Haven. This is my second time staying here. Very clean, housekeeping is extremely responsive, and it’s in such a great location walking distance from the beach. It is also very walkable to the Gap with lots of great places to eat and party. I’d stay here every single time if I could!

I certainly enjoyed my short stay at Lemon Harbour. It was quite convenient and in a very quiet and suitable location. I certainly will visit again some time next year.

What a fabulous apartment this is! The photographs do not do the property full justice. Possibly the best position within Port St Charles, overlooking the marina, the island swimming pool and bar and out to the sea. The pool, surrounded by the most comfortable sunbeds, is a great alternative to the beach, and a simple stroll from the apartment. Water taxi available during daytime to take you to the beach or to the main bar/restaurant. There is lift access to the apartment. Each room is very spacious, light and tastefully decorated. All well equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans and very clean. The terrace spans the width of the property making a large area to enjoy the cooling breezes day and night. Karen, the owner, was so very helpful and easy to communicate with. The managing agents are local and highly professional. We would not hesitate to return.

I had a wonderful stay here. Home away from home. Marv and her husband went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and to show me island life in Barbados! Notes: It is on the Checker Hall bus route, but this isn’t too regular. It is possible to stay without a car, but is probably useful if you do have one. There is a washing machine, but no powder (all other amenities provided): useful to bring your own if you plan on using. It’s a countryside location, so be used to hearing noises of insects/possibly some bugs in the property: well made up for by the other tranquility the place offers! Overall: 10/10 would recommend! Look forward to staying again if the opportunity arises for another trip to Barbados, or to catch up with Marva and Marcelo if they come by London any time 😊

She, Ryan and the wider team truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect! They were always ready to assist with anything we needed and more, they made our trip unforgettable. The property itself is immaculate—spotlessly clean, equipped with top-notch amenities, and designed for ultimate comfort. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeted us with smiles and a willingness to help. It’s clear that every detail has been thought through to create an exceptional guest experience. What surprised us the most was the incredible value for money. Honestly, the advert doesn’t even come close to capturing how amazing this place truly is. Yet it was so affordable for everything we received. This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had to date! We'll be back for sure and with more of the family next time!

Great private apartment above the hosts house. Peter was great with directions and advice on getting busses around town. Incredibly helpful with all the questions we had. Peter even helped us organise a cab back to the airport which was a massive help. There is air con in the bedroom only, but that was fine for us as we weren't at there lot. House had everything we needed for our stay and the bed was very comfortable. 10-15min walk down a hill to the beach and Oistins fish market. From the main road it was a quick 10min bus to St Lawrence Gap area. Accommodation is in a lovely neighbourhood and everyone was incredibly friendly that we met, never felt unsafe even walking back in the dark. For Google Maps, if you put in "Ambers House Barbados", this will give you the exact location. Was helpful for our cab driver that brought us from the airport.
