PERFECT in every way. Hosts, accessibility, location, interaction, food, local community events, and bus timetables, with so much more. Next time, I will definitely take them up on car hire. I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay, already looking at booking later in the year.

We loved every minute of our stay at Carl's place! The spacious room with a stunning view of the ocean and semi-private beach just down below was equipped with all necessary amenities in the kitchen and bathroom, the extremely convenient in-unit washer and dryer, and the infinity pool which my daughter could not get enough of. Everyone in this town was so kind and helpful. We fell asleep on the comfortable bed listening to the ocean waves crashing on the beach. It was so peaceful. My only regret is, our stay was way too short!!!! I would love to stay here again (for much longer visit) when we return to Barbados.

We had an amazing family holiday at this beautiful and comfortable apartment. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We felt very welcomed by the hosts and got very good instructions for the check in. They had even left us some beverages and food in the fridge to get us started on our holiday. This was highly appreciated when we arrived after the long journey. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and beautiful beaches are just a 10min walk away. Thank you! :)

We had a wonderful stay! Sachs’s place had everything we needed home from home with the added bonus of a spacious balcony overlooking Gibbes. Sacha was an excellent host ably supported by Jacqui the local property manager. This will definitely be our go-to place for future stays. Can’t wait!

Heather's place was ideal for our stay. Clean and comfortable, and an easy, short walk to beautiful Heywoods beach and into Spreightstown. Heather is a really responsive host, providing us with clear instructions for check-in and lots of local recommendations. We had an issue while we were there which she dealt with quickly. I would happily stay at Heather's place again.

We had a lovely time staying at OceanView Terrace. Natalie made us feel very welcome and was readily available throughout our stay. Beautiful views from the balcony and really close to a beach which we often had to ourselves. If you are driving do be careful when entering the driveway as it is steep and easy to scratch the front of your car.

I firmly believe there is no better spot on Barbados than this beautiful home. We had stayed at Port St Charles before but this unit being right on the ocean has it all. A view of the ocean a view or the marina and with all the doors opened up, the wonderful breeze blowing right through, day or night, yet A/C in the bedroom on hot nights. Every morning we woke and thought how could we be so blessed to be here, watching the turtles just off the beach and listening to the gentle waves.. Being just after the hurricane, and with a few silly mistakes of our own, there were things to clarify and a few items to work through and when we reached out everything was handled beautifully, in a friendly and timely manner. We could not have been more pleased. The unit is wonderfully appointed - kettle yay!! - and we felt so welcome there. Great restaurants nearby many of which will pick you up. The beach is seconds away but shaded pools offer a break from the sun. We’ll be back.

We had a fantastic time! The location was ideal. I would definitely recommend renting a car if you're staying here. The hosts were incredibly helpful Laura went above and beyond by getting us a quote from a local car rental and arranged it for about £100 less than what we found online. I do have a couple of minor drawbacks, I would have liked having a private outdoor space, but this isn’t a criticism of the hosts since the property description was accurate. While aircon is listed as available, we got a message after booking stating that its use is limited and that extra charges apply for excessive use. We were informed that running the aircon can be quite expensive. There was even a sign to remind us to limit use. The host came down asking us to turn the aircon off because she thought we had it running all day and was worried about the motor overheating. We only had it on that morning and again in the evening for about an hour when she asked. Aside from that, we had a lovely stay!

The apartment was lovely - slight problem with plumbing issues initially that were sorted immediately - Margaret is a lovely housekeeper - fabulous location - booked for next year - what better recommendation is that

Lovely, bright studio apartment with huge balcony terrace. The views are amazing! Enjoyable bird song and other wildlife, including monkey spotting, right outside. The amenities withing the studio are more than expected. 5 min walk down to the beach and local restaurant, though we personally preferred Thunder beach, just 5 min bus ride away. We would definitely come back again.

We had a very relaxing and restful stay at Ashanti #5. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. Gibbe’s beach is only a short walk and the yellow bus is easily accessible to travel to other beaches along the west coast. Close to supermarkets and many great restaurants. We will be back!

Angela is an amazing host, who looked after us and advised us about what to do and how to get to places. Nothing was ever a problem for her. I arrived with my son and she made sure we had shopping and knew where we needed to be for my partners' arrival on an Ocean Rowing boat. The accommodation is very private and secure, though it was difficult to find at first. I would highly recommend this apartment for a holiday in Barbados

Lisa was friendly and very helpful from the point of initial contact and throughout our stay. Apartment is in a beautiful location. Although Port St Charles is a sizeable marina, it always felt private and was peaceful. All staff onsite were professional, friendly and helpful. Complimentary water taxi service was very much appreciated, between apartment to beach, pool and restaurant areas. Saying that all were within walking distance too. Both of Lisa's housekeeping ladies were friendly and did a superb job. Would certainly recommend this property.

Kings Beach is like a family run establishment. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We extended our stay for another week as we loved it so much. The pool is fabulous and very well maintained. The gardens were tended to daily and all terraces hosed down daily.

We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. Chitra greeted us with a warm welcome and went above and beyond with everything from ensuring we were well stocked with toiletries to answering all of our questions. The unit is well equipped and well located. We hope to return again soon!

Our stay at Maddie' s was pretty perfect. The apartment was really spacious, with a.c. and fans in both bedrooms . It is furnished and maintained to a very high standard, with cleaners and ground staff (Julie, Suzette and ... Oddie? very hard-working and super helpful. It was lovely to be able to open our bedroom doors straight onto the private patio and the pool. The pool is very clean and there are plenty of sun loungers. We had a great holiday and soon got the hang of the little buses that run up and down the coast road (though if you're going to the Fish Fry at Oistins, be warned it took us over 2 hours to get there by bus and we had to pay $150 BBD to get home in a taxi). We had some good nights at Adrian's Bar on Mullins beach.

Nice condo in a very nice gated community. Grounds, pool, club-house were all well maintained and made us feel quite comfortable during our stay. Location is a short cab-ride from some of the best restaurants on the island and a supermarket. Would not hesitate to make this a repeat destination. Thanks to Lynne for hosting; well done.

Just had a wonderful stay at Schooner Bay in Speightstown. Well appointed, lovely apartment with pool and ocean views. Serene beach. Walking distance to stores and restaurants. But best of all the community - incredible staff at Schooner Bay, kind local residents. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at this lovely apartment. Alexis was so helpful, even putting in a Nespresso machine for us. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket of snacks and some milk and drinks in the fridge. The apartment worked really well for us with 3 lovely bedrooms all with their own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we loved eating on the terrace with lovely views towards the sea. Staying at Westmoreland was an absolute bonus with use of the gym, pool and the great beach club with the shuttle bus and also parking by the beach. I would highly recommend this apartment for a holiday and we definitely will be visiting again!
