Brighton is considered very bohemian and boasts a very diverse community with large student population and vibrant gay scene. Throughout the summer the city is buzzing and there are many famous events such as the Brighton comedy, fringe, music and food festivals and the Pride event in August. Brighton also has some of the best street art in the country and you'll find a few original Banky's dotted about. We are also just a 55 minutes train ride from London so it perfect if you are planning on visiting London for the day. The city has many exciting attractions such as the Pavilion, Galleries, Museums, Theaters, Comedy Clubs, Nightlife, Restaurants and so much more. If you like shopping Brighton is also famous for the Lanes which has many boutiques style shops, cafes and restaurants where you will see many of the diverse mix of Brighton people hanging out and soaking up the unique atmosphere. Every year the city is growing and becoming more popular with so many things to do. There are also the beautiful Downs and country parks which are within sight of the apartment and are great for a hike or long walks to a pub lunch or cream tea. The local community has a Salisbury's or Aldi supermarket 5 mins walk away, great fish and chip shop at the end of the street and a choice of local shops for take away, breakfast, coffee and a barbers and beauty salon too!

    Aleksandra2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely house, very well finished with plenty of amenities for visitors. Responsive team behind the house who helped us out with some forgotten items. Suited us down to the ground for our weekend in Brighton.

    Matt2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, where to start with this place. Hands down my favorite place I have ever stayed in. Ever. Was well worth it as I am visiting from Chicago, Illinois. Would love to live here, haha! Everything has so much thought put into it, so many tiny details that bring this space together and LOVE the theme of the Queen 👑 this space went above and beyond my boyfriend and I’s expectations. We were in Brighton for a one night stay and wanted to just cancel our plans and enjoy all that Number 34 had to offer! Plus we are huge cat lovers, so hanging out on the patio with the cats was a lovely touch. Comfy bed, clean, cozy. Was a quiet space even with guests in other rooms. Plus we had dinner at one of Peter and Seb’s recommendations, Riddle and Finn’s and it was the best meal of our lives! What an experience. We will absolutely be back, with no intentions of going out. 10/10.

    Anna2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Peter & Seb’s home is so beautiful and homely, we had a lovely stay. Couldn’t recommend more, and we will definitely be staying again when we return to Brighton. Thank you!

    Bridget2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • The house doesn’t look like much when you first pull up but when you go inside you’re immersed in a world of quirkyness, style and wonder (and not to forget the royal family ...) The general atmosphere of the place is exactly what I would expect from an eclectic and colourful town like Brighton ! It’s really the perfect air bnb for the perfect place !

  • Amazing space and hosts! The little studio is so lovely and well equipped for everything you'll need! So much in such a small space but it doesn't feel cramped at all! The place was so clean and lovely! These guys are amazing and so friendly left us brownies on our arrival and they went down a treat! There's also a folder with so much information about the surrounding area which was so helpful! The location is amazing too you can walk into Brighton in about half hour, just a tad hilly at points! We really loved our stay and would definitely recommend it and even use it again!

  • A really great studio flat, not far from the city centre. The flat was really clean with good amenities and an easy walk in to the centre of Brighton. Would recommend this flat and definitely would stay again!

  • Stephen and Anna’s studio is very well presented, clean and airy. It comes very well equipped with everything you will need to make you feel at home, with Stephen and Anna just next door should you have any questions or issues. It’s a good 20 minute walk in to the hustle and bustle of Brighton or there are local buses. You honestly will not regret booking this studio, excellent value for money and so much more than you would get from a hotel booking.

    Amanda2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Must say good & responsive hosts. About the place it’s nice & cosy apartment for two people with all the amenities. Overall, if you’re looking for a small & compact peaceful place away from the city then this is the one.!!

This bright and contemporary double room (including continental breakfast) with digital TV and free WIFI, is located on a quiet street in the popular Kemptown area of Brighton. Just 2 minutes walk to the beach, close to shops, bars and restaurants.
.....To get you in the seaside mood I offer a quiet beach themed double room, on the ground floor of an Edwardian building very close to Brighton seafront. My aim is to provide all my guests with a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay in a fantastic location, to use as a base to explore wonderful and exciting Brighton. A continental breakfast of croissants, yoghurt, cereals, orange juice and tea and coffee is included in the price of your room. There are tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster within your room. Please let me know if you are vegan or gluten free as alternatives can always be provided. In the room there is a flat screen digital TV, free fast broadband Wifi connection, a fridge and there is a hairdryer in the bedside cabinet. This room is a good size so it can accommodate up to 2 people comfortably, also there is a wardrobe so there is more than enough storage space. As you can see from the photos there is a dining table where you will be able to sit and enjoy your continental breakfast. Next to the room there is a clean and contemporary bathroom with a shower. All towels and bed linen are provided, should you require them there are laundry facilities and use of an iron and ironing board. The apartment is located on a very quiet, friendly street just 15 minutes bus ride from Brighton station. Take the number 27 bus (approx £2.40) towards Saltdean from Brighton Station, bus stop B. Get off the bus at the Burlington street bus stop on the seafront at the bottom of my street (Burlington street) The beach is only 2 minutes walk away. If you are coming by car please see the 'getting around' section, this will explain how the parking near to my place works. The city centre and the popular Lanes area are only 15 minutes walk. Here you can find the cosmopolitan cafe culture or browse the quirky and colourful independent shops and boutiques that make Brighton famous. This area is also where you can find Brighton's best known landmark, 'The Royal Pavilion', here you can also find many theatres, bars, restaurants and other places of interest to visit. Brighton's world famous Pier is 10 minutes walk along the seafront, here you can enjoy roller coaster rides and all the fun of the fair. If you go in the other direction along the seafront, about 20 minutes walk or 5 a minute bus ride you can find Brighton Marina. This is a great place to visit as here there is a lot to do and see. Why not take a drink in one of the bars and restaurants on the board walk overlooking the harbour and yachts? There is also a Casino, a Cinema and a Ten Pin Bowling and Kiddies Games Complex. Every Sunday morning there is a car boot sale, so there is definitely something for everybody. I look forward to welcoming you to Brighton, Gary
....I love living in the Kemptown area of Brighton as it has a village feeling. There are many coffee shops, traditional English Pubs (where you can enjoy a lovely Sunday Roast Dinner), restaurants, antique and other independent shops. It is only a 2 minute walk to the beach and the city centre is just 15 minutes walk away.
  • Lovely and quaint place in Brighton. Perfect for a little get away to the coast! I would highly recommend staying with Gary and his extraordinary service and warm hospitality he provided.

  • We had a lovely time staying at Gary's place in Brighton! The room was clean and cute, with a small breakfast table and all the breakfast amenities (toaster, milk, juice, coffee, sugar, plus some continental breakfast items to prepare in room). There's a TV with cable, an adjustable heater, an iron (and board) and a small fridge. The bed was comfy, and big enough for two! Gary is a great host and was very welcoming. He took the time to walk us through everything we could need, plus gave us some tips for exploring the town. Gary is a seasoned host and has taken everything into consideration. We'd be happy to stay with Gary again :)

  • Gary responded very quickly and greeted us upon arrival. The flat is very well laid out and clear instructions around so you know what to do. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was good. A nice gesture with a continental breakfast, was well stocked up in the fridge. Overall a very comfortable stay and will be back.

  • Comfortable room, only 2 minutes walk from the beach. The room is quite central, although located in a quiet neighbourhood with. good amount of bars, restaurants, pubs only 5 minutes walk. The room and bathroom were clean, and the added breakfast was much appreciated. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Brighton.

    Guillaume2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Gary is a lovely person, he helped us a lot. The room was very clean and the common spaces too. The breakfast is very good. If I returned to Brighton I would repeat without a doubt.

    Lara2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very clean, the location so convenient to reach the beautiful beach. Gary explained everything well so that I could use them comfortably without questions. Also, Gary was absolutely nice guy as he took me to fun places in Brighton in person and we've had an enjoyable conversation over some beers in pubs.

    Ryo2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice room in great location. Gary is a great host.

    Phillip2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Gary's place is ideally located and spotlessly clean. An excellent host, found us a great pub nearby and his communication is excellent. Will be sure to stop again.

Centrally located one bedroom flat in converted Victorian house. Great location, only 10 minutes walk to the train station and the centre of town. Flat has high ceilings, some period features, kitchen, living room and one bedroom. The bathroom has a freestanding bath and separate shower. Situated in the Seven Dials area of Brighton, with great neighbourhood pubs and restaurants at the end of the street.
Beautiful Victorian one bed flat, located on a sleepy tree-lined residential street, very close to all amenities. Just 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of Brighton and very conveniently located for Brighton’s main rail station. The flat has very high ceilings and large windows letting an abundance of light in. It has a calm and relaxing feel. It is on the first floor of the building and has a kitchen, living room, one main bedroom and a bathroom coming off the bedroom. The bathroom is very spacious with a free-standing bath tub and also a standalone shower. The living room has a wood panelled wall. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and preparing meals, so it is suitable for those guest that may want a night in. Virgin Media cable TV is available with 150 channels. The flat is in the Seven Dials area of Brighton, there are fantastic neighbourhood restaurants and bars at the end of the street where you can mix with locals. The flat would best suit couples wanting a relaxing break in Brighton or business / solo travellers who would prefer to stay in a home rather than a hotel.
The flat is in the Seven Dials area of Brighton, or "The Dials" as it is known. It takes its name from the seven roads that branch out from the main roundabout. It is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town, but a little ecosystem of its own with a number of great restaurants, cafes and pubs. Here you'll get a chance to mix with locals kicking back after work or on the weekend.
  • Would highly recommend, close to town and beautifully decorated flat

Within walking distance of everything we needed, very clean and fast replies when we needed help figuring something out. Richard’s place is beautiful, high ceilings and traditional features, furnished lovely and with a roll top bath. We hope to return soon.

Brighton is considered very bohemian and boasts a diverse community, a large student population, a vibrant gay scene, and some of the country's best street art. There's a great fish and chip shop at the end of the street and a choice of local shops.
  • Stunning little place, very quirky and unique interiors. A little bit away from the centre but on a good bus route into town. Excellent value. We stayed in the loft which was a lovely little space. Great value place to explore The surrounding area.

  • The Loft was fabulous!! This home was everything I wanted and needed. Not only was there many pictures of the queen and lots of royal memorabilia. There were also cats, homely touches and many many nick nacks!! You think you’ve seen it all and then something else catches your eye! The perfect place for a nice relaxing birthday evening! Although slightly out of town the transport into the centre is great and you have everything you need near by. Thank you Peter and Seb for welcoming us into your fantastic home!

Close to all places such as the cool and interesting North Laines, The Lanes (South) steeped in history. The bustling and vibrant Seafront, i360 tower, Pavilion, cinemas, Dome Theatre, Theatre Royal, gyms, parks and the station and buses of which some are open top. As one guest points out that the location is hard to beat-Having so many places to choose from just for breakfast! Also and virtually on the doorstep is one of Brighton's most established hostelries serving real ale might be worth a look in.
  • Annette's house is a wonderful quirky old house with lots of style and arty touches. The location is excellent and it is a hop-skip to great Brighton places. Even with this great central location, it was a lovely quiet space to stay and I slept really well in the comfortable bed. Very highly recommended.

    Clari2020-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great couple of days staying at Annette, great location, quiet area and nice little touches to make you feel welcome. Ideal for a shopping once Annette had pointed out the short cut to get into city shopping centre. Easily a yes for return trip to visit Bright again.

Charming, clean and bright double guest rooms available in a private guest house above a traditional pub. Close to Brighton centre and train station, both 10 mins away. Heating is gas combi boiler and there are two bathrooms with showers.
The rooms make for a relaxing break in beautiful Brighton, having a great location and will suit groups wanting a little privacy. All reasonable requests or special arrangements will be accommodated as we believe customer service is paramount to making your stay memorable.
We are in a residential enclave of Brighton, bordering Hove, yet only a stones-throw away from the hustle and bustle of Preston Street and Western Road. The sea front is a mere 5 minute walk and the pier and i360 within touching distance of that. Peruse the little boutique shops and cafes, restaurants and general local vibe that makes Brighton so special. The world famous Lanes are a little further away and worth spending time to soak its the unique charm they offer.

NHS workers only. It's free (ignore mention of prices). We want to assist NHS teams to split away from shared accommodation and reduce likelihood of self-isolation. A 15 minute walk to hospital may also resolve transport issues. We can feed you. A cosy space in a great location: you have a fabulous view of Brighton and the ocean. You have a sunny, stylish double room; a separate sitting rm w/sofa bed, en-suite shower/separate toilet.
The maisonette is perfect for parents with one child (two are possible) but also for couples (either travelling alone or with 1 x extra guest), solo adventurers and business travellers/conference-goers. There is a £15 additional charge for a third adult but kids (12 to 16) are free (no children under 12 I'm afraid). Nicknamed 'the lighthouse', the accommodation is situated on the top floor of our family house separated by its own door. It comprises of a large loft double bedroom (with shower), a landing and a toilet and a small living room with TV and a comfortable pull-out sofa bed for a third person (or child). The double bedroom has a superb view, and the folding window opens out and overlooks a flat roof area. From this hilltop vista, rooftops descend downward to Brighton Palace Pier and the sea. You are asked not to smoke inside, but you can smoke on the flat roof area which has safety rails (its easy but be careful climbing out!) The room has a south-facing sloping roof which affects the bed only, but is something tall people need to take note of. The sitting room (on a lower level), has a large TV and sofa bed and its own picture window offering a lovely view over the rooftops and down to the sea. The accommodation is completed by your own walk-in shower room and separate toilet.
You’ll love the immediate locality: our house sits at the top of a famous rectangle of terraced streets comprising of pastel coloured 'dolls-house' style buildings that climb the hill from fashionable Kemp Town and nearby Edward Street. The streets on this rectangle frequently appear in TV, movies and commercials! A few doors away from our house you'll note a distinctive old church (now a Greek Orthodox Church) and nestled close to that a lovely early 19th century farmhouse sitting alongside the gleaming glass of the brand new American Express building. A minutes walk up the hill behind us and you'll come to a pub called The Setting Sun which boasts the best beer garden in Brighton (an afternoon suntrap with views which stretch outward to Worthing; on a very clear day, its possible to see the Isle of Wight). For children, a brilliant playground is just 2 minutes away in the form of Tarner Park which also contains a circular flint-building constructed in the mid 19th Century as an observation tower so that a wealthy merchant (Edward Tarner) could see his cargo ships in arrive the English Channel on route to London. From our house, ten minutes walk eastward brings you to the very splendid (and expansive) Queens Park, perfect for kids, for picnics by the lake (its little cafe-hut cooks really good homemade cake and scones). Ten minutes walk southward takes you across Kemp Town's busy St James Street (full of shops, cafes and bars) and onward to the beech and the Palace Pier. Ten minutes walk westward takes you past the Art College, Brighton Pavilion and into the city centre where you can choose to divert to the youthful, arty North Laines or to the traditional 'Brighton Lanes' with its windy ally ways of antique, jewelry and curiosity shops (not forgetting the sweet shops and the notorious 'Choccywoccydoodah').

  • Ady is the most gentle, kind, and thoughtful host I have ever met. His careful introduction and helpful advice made our stay in Brighton more enjoyable. It was such a wonderful experience to have a warm and rich home-made breakfast every morning, let along his lovely cat, the sea-view platform and the claasic Italian sparkling wine in the fridge. His host made us feel at home.We will surely feel like coming back when in Brighton next time!

  • An amazing place to stay! The view from the balcony will make you want to live there. A perfect place for 2-3 people. Such accommodating hosts providing cake, wine, breakfast straight to the door (warm croissants and fresh coffee was a perfect hangover cure!) and of course the gorgeous kitty. So close to the town centre where you can access anything and everything you need. Incredibly comfortable beds and a good shower. This very spacious loft conversion reminded me of everything I love about Brighton and I will definitely be staying again.

A delightful one bedroom self contained apartment set in the heart of Brighton. Light and bright and close to all things you will need for your stay. A fabulous patisserie and a co-op are right at the top of the road and the beach is at the bottom of the road with great cafes and views ! With the current situation, we are also happy to offer a more flexible option of weekly or monthly bookings if you need to have a space to self isolate in or even to work in.
The apartment is located right in the middle of Brighton and Hove. The whole flat is yours to make it your little home for your stay. The lounge is minimalist but has a sofa and coffee table to sit and chill at. The TV is cable and there is also wi-fi if you wanted to watch your own devices for Netflix. The wi-fi is good and strong. The kitchen has a microwave, a hob and an oven. Kettle and toaster are also there. There is tea and coffee in the cupboard for you. There are also enough utensils for cooking, lasagne dish, baking tray, saucepans and frying pan. If you don't fancy cooking you are close to lots of restaurants either in Hove or Brighton. There are also plenty more restaurants down on the Seafront. The bedroom has a comfortable ( often commented on ) double bed with bedside table. A hanging rail for your clothes, a hairdryer and an iron. The shower room is a large fully tiled shower cubicle with an electric shower. The Beach is 500 metres away. Restaurants of all cuisine tastes are very close by. Brighton Station is exactly 1 mile away with regular buses serving the nearest bus stop to the apartment or a taxi will be £5.00. Parking is resident permit only although there is pay and display parking available in nearby roads.
Located 10 metres off the bustling Western Road there is an array of coffee shops, a favourite being the Real Patisserie at the top of the road, about 1 minute walk away ! Fresh Pastries and great coffee are always essential on your mini break ! Why not wander around the corner to Brunswick Square and enjoy the lawned gardens with the sea just at the bottom of the Square. Or take a stroll along the Seafront to the Pier. As you hit the seafront below the apartment you will see the Meeting House Cafe open from around 7am for that first cup of coffee.
  • A neat and tidy little flat with a comfy bed. It's a perfect location for exploring Brighton. It's a 2 minute walk to the sea front and there are supermarkets, bars and restaurants within 5 mins. We really enjoyed our stay!

  • Three friends and I stayed for one night in Eleanor's beautiful home in Brighton. She sent comprehensive check-in details ahead of time and we found it easily. It is in a fantastic location, with pubs and shops with in a 5 min walking distance. The home itself is lovely with original features and comfy beds. I would recommend this stay. Thank you!

  • Elle’s house is just beautiful and so well located. I can’t write highly enough of it - the living room especially is such a lovely space. AirBnB at its absolute best!

  • Beautiful, light and stylish property. Spolessly clean. Ideal lication as only about 10mins from Brighton Dome. Really lovely. Hope to stay again one day

    Angie2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in Eleanor’s place for one night and it was wonderful. It’s situated in a quiet part of town, about a 15 minute walk to the seafront or to the Lanes and 3 minutes to Seven Dials, so perfect if you want a base to explore different parts of town. The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities you would need for a short or long stay. The shower isn’t great but this is made very clear in the description and also in the signs in the house so wasn’t a problem for us. Eleanor was super helpful and responded to messages straight away, kept us up to date at all times and made our stay so easy. Excellent host, beautiful house and ideal location!

    Alicia2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Housing very well located (10 min walk from the beach, 10 min from the center), quiet, neat decoration. Eleanore was very attentive. We will come back.

Our favourite coffee and smoothie shop is the Wild Cherry Cafe which is 5 mins walk from the house and the wonderful Starfish and Coffee for one of the best breakfast/brunch in Brighton.
  • Emma and her family were super welcoming, kind and helpful about what to do whilst in Brighton...and recommending vegan food places!

  • It was a very comfortable and homely hostel. The park on my way out of the house and on the way to the sea was also very good, and above all, I was reluctant to take this trip as the city is a city, but the owner of the house, Mike, was always nice to me. He was also very kind and brought me everything I needed. The puppy at home was also very cute. The schedule was twisted so I couldn't go to Seven Sisters, but when I was at home, I was very comfortable and healed. Next time I go to Brighton, I am willing to make a reservation. Super cozy and comfortable. The host mike was super kind and those road to beach was wonderful. Recommend for everyone who is planning to visit brighton. Thanks.

    Katie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Straightforward, cosy , clean space within walking distance of the centre. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfy. Recommended for a short stay in Brigton!

    Howard2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • A top quality stay, at very reasonable cost. Everything I needed, lovely comfortable bed, great bathroom etc. Peaceful and given privacy. Emma very kindly accommodated my request for unperfumed laundry products on the bedding which was a great relief. Super place, very handy for public transport, and also parking car outside which I needed. Thank you <3

    Gill2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • great place to stay in brighton, recommend!

    Marise2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place. Lovely people. Emma couldn’t have been warmer or more welcoming. I felt that while I was sharing their home, I was part of the family and at the same time, I had my privacy. The room is small but very accommodating - with a little chair by the window where I could read and appreciate the view. I could make hot drinks in my room and appreciated the breakfast before setting off into town. Even though their home is a very pleasant half hour walk away from the coast, it’s elevated position, next to the lovely Queens Park, gives a surprisingly good view of the sea. There’s a Victorian public baths around the corner and more lovely little pubs close by than you could shake a stick at. Emma is super helpful and clearly loves Brighton and people and life in general - which is just nice to be around.

    Cathy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Expect a short steep walk to the property at one point, but that is no problem as the location is still great only about 15-20 mins walk from the station & to the town & beach about the same. A warm welcome & room is cute, quiet & clean.

The Chapel Townhouse is a beautiful one bedroom townhouse, hidden in the heart of central Brighton, affording you the privacy of your own home with the romance, style and grandeur of the best luxury hotels. Described by guests as "absolutely spectacular", "too good to tell anyone about", "100 times better than a hotel", "the BEST place I have ever stayed in Brighton", "outrageously cool, perfectly located and really delivers the wow factor" and "seriously the best Airbnb I've ever stayed at".
A beautiful converted chapel dating back to 1876, the Chapel Townhouse is hidden along a private and picture perfect Victorian mews, accessible through private electric entry gates. Guests enter their own front door to find the grandest of staircases winding around an 8ft chandelier made from 300 antique crystal wine glasses, up to the Chapel Townhouse's studio room with a 15ft high ceiling, original stained glass windows, super-king sized bed, roll top bathtub and a second Victorian inspired chandelier made from black Lego bricks......................
Despite being in the bustling heart of central Brighton, the Chapel Townhouse is so private and secluded, you'll feel a million miles away from the outside world. Hidden along a private mews, just off Church Street in the very centre of the city, you will find the Chapel Townhouse directly opposite Brighton Dome and Corn Exchange and moments from Brighton's famous Pavilion Gardens estate and the Theatre Royal. The Chapel Townhouse is also in the midst of the famous lanes and North Laine areas, packed with the best independent boutiques, restaurants and coffee shops. Brighton pier and seafront is half a mile away and we're walking distance from both Kemptown and Hove. You really couldn't wish for a better location.

  • James’ place was by far and beyond the best AirBnb I have stayed in. Centrally located (but not too noisy), it was beautifully decorated with the comfiest bed I think I’ve ever slept in. James himself was in prompt contact with details of all we needed for our stay - would recommend to anyone in search of a unique place to stay right in the centre of the Brighton action.

Come and stay in a fabulous newly renovated Regency building near the Palace Pier and sea front. Be right in the heart of Brighton where everything is accessible on foot. Suitable for families, sharers or couples. For larger groups the whole building is available to book, consisting of five individual apartments from 500 sq ft to 1,000 sq ft each. All prices include VAT. Please note - no bookings can start / end on a Sat unless preceding Fri is booked. Any Sat check-ins will be self check-in.
This is a beautiful cosy one-bedroom apartment is on the top floor of a stunning Regency building on the historical Old Steine. It is directly opposite Steine Gardens and fountain. The view is fantastic for people-watching or just gazing at the stars. You can see the Palace Pier to the left and Pavilion to the right. There’s now the new i360 in the middle, further in the distance. This is a very private apartment as it has its own landing and is at the very top of the house (three floors of stairs). It is an ideal love nest for couples but can accommodate two more guests on a sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is off to the right of the lounge and has modern appliances and utensils for cooking and baking. If there’s anything particular you need, just ask. The large bedroom is at the rear of the building. There's a UK king size bed and lots of cupboard/drawer space. It’s an ideal room for parents and baby as a cot can easily be placed at the bedside (we can provide cot and high chair for your little one). If you prefer, you can also bring the mattress from sofa bed in here as much quieter for guests 3/4. The bathroom has a “P” shaped bath with excellent rain shower over. There’s a large illuminated mirror and lots of storage cupboards for your personal items. We provide hotel-quality bed linen and two towels for each person. In the bathroom you will find toiletries from the "Simple" range. So no need to bring anything except your clothes if you booked in a hurry! I love decorating and sourcing quality, stylish furnishings that are a little bit different. All my apartments are designed with flair and comfort in mind. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
There is something for everyone in Brighton. Whether you've come to Brighton to experience the nightlife, culture, history or shopping, everything is right on your doorstep. The Palace Pier is less than a minute walk away. Then why not visit the Sealife centre just across the road. You can try the new Brighton Zip – go along the beach front on a zip wire. The Royal Pavilion is a 5 minute walk away and is open to visitors on a daily basis. There might be something interesting on at the Dome Theatre – a concert, play or reading perhaps. The i360 rotating viewing tower is 15 mins walk along the seafront – well worth a visit. You can book online or just turn up on the day. You may like to take the No. 77 bus from the sea front to Devils Dyke where you can experience panoramic views of the Downs. There’s very good pampering here – massages, holistic or beauty treatments are all in close proximity. Everyone has different tastes, so have a look at the Trip Advisor best spa lists to see what others say. There’s a lot of nightlife close by too. From chains like Wetherspoons to individual old-fashioned pubs, micro-breweries, wine bars, gay/lesbian/trans, shisha lounges and ice cream parlours… everyone is catered for.

    Samantha2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful flat in an excellent location, just a hop and a skip to both the beach and the town. It's stylishly decorated and extremely well equipped, e.g. lovely bed linen & towels, toiletries, fantastic rain shower and with good storage throughout. The hike up to the third floor isn't for the faint-hearted but made for great views of the pier! Communication was prompt and detailed and the caretaker, Nathan, was welcoming and accommodating. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather which made everything feel that extra bit special. We thoroughly recommend Jo's flat and for us it's probably our favourite air bnb place to date ☺️

Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, cereal and a complimentary bottle of wine are also provided. The hot water boiler is located in the cupboard at the end of the kitchen breakfast bar and has the telephone and contract number so that any guest can call direct to British gas incase of a breakdown/emergency. This cupboard also houses the ironing board and iron. The lounge area centres around a lovely old open fireplace. The chimney however has been capped so this is for show only. There is a 50" UHD 4K tv with freeview, a 4K Blu-ray player and a hard drive connected with a 2TB selection of music/movies/tv shows for you to choose from. There is a double sofa bed for an extra 1 or 2 guests too and a beautiful solid oak extending dining table with 4 matching chairs in the bay window. Just to put a little perspective on it, although this is a lower ground floor apartment, the lounge/kitchen area is surprisingly bright and when there are no cars parked on the forecourt if you stand in the lounge area you can clearly see the sea and the Brighton pier from the lovely bay window. In the hallway from the lounge there is a cupboard straight ahead with shelving housing fresh towels and bed linen. Underneath is a Dyson hoover and laundry bin. On the left of the hallway is a hotel style luxuriously fitted shower room tiled with real honed slate flooring and prestige travertine wall tiles. A hairdryer, hair straighteners, iPhone charger and travel adaptor plug can be found in the dressing table drawer. The apartment features exclusive stunning limited edition artwork throughout by young up and coming local artist Richard Berner. His ‘Beasts of Brighton’ work/collection is particularly interesting as it is of local famous Brighton landmarks/subjects. His intricate and alternative style is unique to his vision and as far as we can tell there is nothing else in this style around. If you like his work as much as we do then why not take one of his cards, contact him and take a totally unique souvenir of Brighton back home with you!

  • Pete is a super host, thank you for your welcoming hospitality. The place is cosy, kitchen is equipped and functional and the living space has lots of books to browse. Perfectly meet our needs. Will look no further than here for our next Brighton stay.

    Claudia2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • A great little apartment for a couple to stay at, just a mile's walk from city centre, and very close to lots of bars and cafes. Peter was responsive to communication and offered all the tips we needed on parking, eating and places to visit. No hesitation in recommending it as your perfect pad for a weekend away!

    Helen2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Peter has a lovely flat in Hove! It gets really nice light in the living room and bedroom and the couches were comfortable for lounging. We didn't have the nicest weather so we spent lots of time in the flat and cooked most of our meals there too. It was warm and cozy. The flat had everything we needed. Peter was always available to message with any questions and he responded promptly. He's a great host that goes above and beyond for his guests (met us at the bus station to walk with us to the flat, brought us extra kitchen & loo roll, etc.). Perfect location too!

    Lydia & Stefan2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Peter was an excellent host, accommodating and very informative about the local area, giving us good local tips (including parking support)! The flat was in a very good location within a walkable distance to all the attractions. It was a very comfortable place to stay and uniquely decorated - we loved the art work! We really enjoyed staying at the apartment and would book with you again. Thank you Peter - you were a super host!

    Wendy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for such a lovely stay in Hove. The flat is warm, extremely comfortable and cosy and beautifully decorated. We visited during a big storm so couldn't go out much, but the flat provided a great place to hibernate! The complimentary food supplies were also very much appreciated! Will definitely be back (in the summer...!). Would recommend Market Kitchen for tapas and cocktails!

    Kerensa2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

Lovely light and airy comfy double room with your own private bathroom.
Originally built in 1895, the house was completely renovated in 2011. It maintains its classic period character whilst providing for all modern living needs. The guest rooms are situated on the second floor with the kitchen/breakfast room on the lower ground floor. The house is large enough to offer you your own space so you won't feel crowded and you'll have as much privacy as you like.
This distinctive Victorian red brick terrace was originally built to house the academic staff of the prestigious Brighton College. The six storey house overlooks the playing fields and college, beyond that towards the sea. The Terrace is a nice quiet residential street, quiet enough to provide a relaxing stay but very convenient if you want to access the evening and nightlife that Brighton has to offer.
  • Stayed here for three nights and the hospitality was first class 👌 Thanks Mark

A lovely bright, cosy but spacious room at the back of our friendly and welcoming home. If you are thinking of booking please don't click 'request to book', instead scroll down till you find 'contact host' and send a enquiry that way AND NOTE WE DON'T TAKE BOOKINGS MORE THAN 7-10 DAYS IN ADVANCE! Thank you xxx PS The bed in this room is slightly narrower than standard (at 2"6' rather than 3") but it is standard length and a superior quality mattress so you will have a great night's sleep! x
A small but pretty room in a lively family house. The bed (slightly narrower than standard) is very comfortable. It can easily be converted into a double - either for two guests or lots of sleeping space. There is a desk, free WiFi and access from the room to a decked area and a garden. This room is on the ground floor of a spacious double fronted family house in Brighton. It is light and airy. You will have use of a modern, well fitted bathroom on the first floor that has a bath and a shower. Our family won't use this bathroom but occasionally you may have to share it with other guests as we have other rooms that we let out sometimes. We are a friendly couple who enjoy visitors. We will be able to help you during your stay by providing local information.
This is a residential area but over the road is a small food shop which is open from 8am to 8pm everyday. Down the road there is a pharmacy, florist, pizza take away, off license, fish and chip shop, family run cafe and delicatessen. Just up the road at Fiveways there is another fish & chip shop, a post office, sweet shop, a well stocked fruit and veg shop and a few restaurants. There are several good pubs within easy walking distance and just around the corner on Lowther Road there is a lovely cafe with delicious home made cakes called The Old Bakehouse. Brighton is famous for The Pier - fun rides and excitement day and night, The Pavilion and its amazing architecture and well known across the world for its artistic and free thinking community, buzzing night life, great restaurants, magical winding Lanes and quirky North Laine shops. You will never be bored in Brighton, there is always something to do here, but when you come back to the house you will relish its tranquility!
  • This is a very special house that has a very peaceful atmosphere. It's a pleasure to stay here; surrounded by interesting and beautiful objects and art.

A charming, bright apartment on the corner of a North Laine building, you couldn't be more central! A mere couple of minutes walk from the main high street and shopping centre, and less than two minutes walk to the North Laine shops, cafés and Royal Pavilion Gardens. A perfect hideaway for those looking to be amongst the hustle and bustle of Brighton but don't want to catch the bus everyday to find it. Stylish simplicity!
On the 1st floor with no lift, the flat is in on the corner of the building. The bedroom has a double ottoman bed that stores everything underneath. There is a clothes rail and black out blinds to ensure a good nights sleep. The living room has a sofabed, dining table and TV with Netflix and Freeview channels and a few windows for watching the world go by. The kitchen has the basics for cooking, including toaster, kettle and pots and pans, not to mention electric oven and hob and compact fridge with freezer compartment. Most amenities should be evident on the photos but should you have any questions then fire them this way!
Situated in the North Laine area of Brighton, you'll have everything that makes Brighton great on your doorstep. The area is famed for it's independent shops, cafés, restaurants and more... Walk 8 minutes South and you'll find yourself on the beach! What more could you ask for? As for recommendations... There's too many! Send me a message outlining your tastes and I'll happily give you some ideas.

    Bethany2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely one bedroom place in central Brighton. Kitchen had everything I needed, bed was comfy and apart from a bit of road noise (being central Brighton to be expected) it was a great few days away.

  • Great location - easily accessible to a lot of good eateries, convenience store, and sights. Excellent for short stay Very responsive and good communication. Also quick to solve any issue that was araised. One con: Could be more space between the toilet seat and sink and lack of window in bathroom is disappointing. Otherwise an excellent stay. Thank you 😊

  • A fantastic location, minutes from the station and walking distance to everywhere. Annette was lovely and gave us some local info and recommendations. She also let us leave our bags until we were getting the train back. Breakfast nibbles and drinks were provided in the morning which is a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Brighton.

  • Great central location if you're getting public transport down and don't mind a bit of neighbourhood noise while falling asleep (disposable ear plugs are in the bedside drawer if needed). Very clean room and comfy bed with a nice clean bathroom and decent shower to use. Breakfast provided is generous and varied. Annette is super lovely and was kind enough to loan me a plug so I could charge my phone, I got the feeling she would go above and beyond to make guests comfy and to help them have a good stay. Great location and great value for money.

  • This was the perfect home for a true English experience! I felt like a local! So cozy, in a great location, and Annette was a wonderful host. The home was warm and cozy after a cold rainy day and it was the perfect place for our stop in Brighton.

  • Beautiful stylish room in a great location. Within walking distance to so many fun things to do in Brighton! Great breakfast with toast, cereal, fruit, coffee and everything you need. Annette is friendly and has tons of great local recommendations! 😁

  • This was an amazing stay. I was just here for one night but the room was clean (bed was incredibly comfortable) and the bathroom was extremely clean also. The breakfast provided was great and there was a wide range of options. Annette was polite and welcoming and immediately made me feel comfortable. Thank you for the great stay!

This flat is situated in a pretty Conservation area, so it is quiet but still only a couple of minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs and public transport. It is wonderfully bright and sunny and I fully recommend sitting by the front window whilst the sun streams in and enjoying a glass of wine! There is a pretty window box outside, so feel free to help yourself to the fresh herbs.
This lovely apartment is situated in a quiet road, yet still only a few minutes walk from local amenities - supermarket, cafes, restaurants, shops, train station and the seafront. Of all the tree-lined streets and grand boulevards of Hove, there is one that captures best the Victorian spirit that many of the others have lost. Running from Blatchington Road to Hove Station, Denmark Villas, with its tall elms and sycamores, has retained its character from all those years back. The spacious sitting room is stylishly furnished and decorated and offers ample room to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Browse the books, watch TV, use my record player or just chill! For cold nights there is a lovely flame effect fire for added warmth. The apartment is on the first floor so if you have mobility issues this may not be suitable for you. Please don't make an enquiry if you are planning a drunken weekend, crazy clubbing or wild nights. This is a quiet residential house and I want to keep it this way. Included in the price is all your bed linen, towels and welcome pack to ease you into your stay. Fresh flowers, free tea and coffee, Virgin cable TV, DVD player, stereo and books to browse are just some of the bonuses. The price varies according to the seasons and is more at the weekend; please e-mail me for full details. If arriving at an unsociable hour please inform me well in advance so I can make arrangements for the keys. An earlier check-in and check out is possible for an additional fee - please enquire.
I always like to think of Hove as the classier sister to Brighton. Central Hove is blessed with several excellent places to eat and drink and boasts some exceptional Gastro pubs - be it the Urchin that specialises in seafood and craft beers. Hove Place has a beautiful Italianate Garden out back where you can enjoy a glass or two of wine and enjoy their Modern European menu. Central Hove is also two minutes walk away and boasts a whole array of shops. Hixon Green is wonderful for breakfast and brunch and only five minutes away. If venturing into Brighton I can make numerous suggestions of what to see and do and can advise on where to eat - be it meat eaters, gluten free, pescatarian or veggie/vegan.
  • Great communication and nice place and value for money

  • Great place for a little weekend getaway in Brighton. Good location to get to know Brighton and Hove both and to take advantage of nice walks along the beach between the two.

  • Ash is a kind guy, and the room was very lovely established.
