Right when I walked into the building I was immediately greeted by Gloria! She was so sweet and happily walked us to the room and showed us around. She responded quickly to any question I had and was a gracious host! Lovely and clean room, great view, and the 24hr Wal-Mart came in handy~

It's hard to find a place that stands by its caption or title in airbnb. But Luis's place is an exception. You can see fine artistic works in every part of the house. Very safe neighborhood. Though I didn't get a chance to meet Luis in person because of our different schedules, he was extremely helpful in check-in and quickly responsive to any questions. I'd surely recommend this place to any couples or solo travelers who wish to have a peaceful stay in Chicago.

Excellent place for the laid back artist who is fond of traveling solo. It's a quiet spot to spend the night..and on occasion you might get a glimpse of the awesome artists Great for people who are down to earth and looking for a chill place I mostly ventured off to other parts. If you are only doing the trains and buses, get ready to do a lot of walking Awesome stay..very laid back, very cool artists. Thanks!

It was really easy to get to and perfect for 2 traveling girls. We were able to park on the street and walk to a train so that was nice. It was clean and everyone was very friendly.

Luis's place is a great bargain and a bit more spacious than it appears! The bed fits two people quite comfortably.

The apartment is in a unique building and was decorated very nicely. It is at an excellent location in the Design district. There are restaurants nearby as well as being a short walk to China Town. There is nearby access to public transportation and free street parking. It is even close enough to walk to downtown Chicago. Wilson was a good host and we had many interesting conversations since we have many common interests. He and a friend were also gracious enough to take me out one evening and show me some local clubs and Wilson and I also went out to eat one evening at a historic theatre. Overall, it was an enjoyous stay and I would highly recommend staying at Wilson’s.

Wilson was an excellent host and has a beautiful space. The location was ideal, the bed was extra comfortable.. Wilson gave so many wonderful recommendations for the area. Can't say enough good things. Highly recommend!

Wilson is an excellent host, at once both personable and quiet. He was a pleasure to talk to every night when we returned from our work and explorations, but when we were ready to turn in, he was quiet and extremely respectful. His apartment is tastefully, but minimally outfitted, and was perfect for our four-night stay. We ate out a lot this trip and it worked out well, so we cannot comment on his kitchen. He let us stay in his master-bedroom, which was suitably private and worked perfectly for us. The Pilsen location is great and the nearest bus stop is right outside his door. Very convenient!

Wilson is a great host - he knows his town and has fantastic tips on where to have fun. His place was converted from a warehouse, with high ceilings and industrial details. To have Wilson go through the details of his various 80s furniture with you is a must.

The apartment had a very pleasant vibe going on for it, from the neighborhood to the minimalistic pieces that were at the apartment. Very artsy. I enjoyed my stay very much. Everything was clean and ready for us and having Wilson as our host made our experience worth while, very fun guy and very helpful and if you're unsure about what you want to do around Chicago, he's always there to help!

First time in Chicago and a lovely place to stay at. Wilson was very nice and helped us out thoroughly which made our experience to the Windy city even better. His house is very neat, artsy, and at an up and coming location. Getting to the loop was barely 2mins drive, so all in all it was a great living here.

I was staying with Juanita and her family for two nights. She is a very nice person and an awesome host. She gave me free water bottles, offered me free food and made me feel at home. The neighborhood was good, the Pink Line train station is super close and the I can't complain about anything for the price! :)

This neighborhood is a great place to see the true heart of Chicago, the local neighborhoods. I had a very peaceful stay. Juanita was kind and thoughtful.

Very close to the station (10 min walk), and then just a 20-30 minute train ride to central downtown! I loved Juanita's location. The building is a little aged and the water pressure takes a minute or two to kick in sometimes, but for the money it is a bargain!

Juanita was a very nice host, the room was small but sufficient. I couldn't ask for anything more

Juanita was really responsive and helpful throughout the trip. I even got a free meal! Location wise, it is pretty good; close to the train station and lagunitas brewing company (definitely check that out). Place was a little old and smells a little but for the price it was fine. Overall, a great stay.

Lurero & Ray are a cute couple. They are very considerate and try their best to accommodate me since my arriving time that day keeps changing. The room is clean and copy. The bathroom is clean. The place is close to city and really convenient for people who want to do sightseeing in the city. If I go to Chicago next time, I would consider their place again.

I had a chance to meet Ray, his friend and guests from Germany. Though I was tired and stayed only for couple of hours, I had a great time watching Ice Hockey with them. The private room with attached bath was clean and big. The location and surrounding environment was quiet, I loved the place. Ray also dropped me close to the nearest subway station. Thanks Ray for having me as a guest.

Great room to sleep in, comfortable bed. My own clean, separate bathroom was very nice too. Good location to get the loop and train station. Breakfast each morning was very much appreciated.

Lucero and Ray were excellent hosts. I honestly could not have picked a better place for my first Airbnb experience. Their apartment was everything they advertised it to be. The bed was comfortable, the living areas were clean and elegant, and they had easily accessible wi-fi. They even let me borrow an iron, so I could smooth out the wrinkles on one of my shirts for a conference the next morning. Plus, they provided delicious breakfast materials for me the next morning. I would highly recommend Lucero and Ray's hospitality for anyone visiting Chicago.

They are very nice. When we arrived at the first day, it was very late. But they are patient for us. They helped us to take the luggages to their room. The apartment is clean and everything is in order. They always give us private space. I think if I will be in Chicago next time, I will certainly choose to stay here.

Ray & Lucero were beyond accommodating! They made sure we had everything we needed and made their condo feel like a safe home away from home during our stay. Ray and Lucero epitomise everything I love about Airbnb. I can totally understand why they are superhosts. So welcoming, friendly and thoughtful. The location was central, safe and ideal for getting anywhere in the city. Cosy but comfortable bedroom and temptingly warm against the chill of the Windy City. Ample breakfast and one of the best showers ever! Would definitely recommend as the perfect place to stay for an introduction to Chicago, especially as Ray and Lucero give wonderful and personally tailored recommendations if needed.

Although I have some special questions, the landlord can always reply me in a short time that make the communication went smoothly. In addition, Ray gave me a great suggestion about the restaurant nearby. The location is pretty convenient that I could take bus right outside the building, easy to connect to other public transportation system. The room and bathroom is pretty clean that offered me a great experience in Chicago!

We stayed at Olivia's place for 2 days. The apartment is located in West Loop and it is walking distance to downtown, Willis tower and all major Chicago's landmarks which is really convenient to visit the city. Moreover, The room is perfectly clean and is exactly as in the pictures. Olivia is really nice and alway available to respond to us. I recommend her place, this is a valuable place to stay and visit the city.

My girlfriend and I had a great time staying with Kenny! He made us feel at home the entire time and was always very thoughtful in making sure we had whatever we needed. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived. The location was a short walk to the L, shops, restaurants, etc. so we were glad to be able to walk to everything, although the bed and couch were so comfortable we were happy to spend a lot of time just relaxing :) We also had a lot of fun chatting with Kenny when we were both home, and getting to chill with Reels was nice too as he is a smart and friendly little dog. We would definitely stay again and will look for Kenny next time we're in Chicago!

Kenny was a very gracious host. the room we stayed in was beautiful, and he was willing to acomidate whatever troubles we might have had. he is an amazingly nice and talkative man with a lot of interesting life experiences. the dog is amazingly adorable and nice. honestly the only complaint I can think of (and this is being very nitpicky) is that the floors creaking is a bit annoying.

Staying at Kenny's was like staying with a good friend that you haven't seen in awhile. If you have any connection to Chicago past or present, a stay with Kenny is extra special as he is a wealth of knowledge about the city and its history. His place has vintage charm with the cool vibe of the neighborhood.

Kenny was a great host! He was super accommodating and really kind to both me and my friend. He gave great advice about the neighborhood and about life in general. The house itself was really nice and beautifully decorated and is a great area right next to a ton of great bars, restaurants, clubs and stores and is only a short stroll to the lakefront. Kenny is really cool, very chatty and energetic. Wish you the best!
