Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Rekawa Lagoon

Lovely spacious home in Weligama, very close to the beach and centre of town. The place is spacious for 2 people with fabulous Wifi. We had a few power cuts, but I think that is to be expected in the area. We didn’t find the bed to be too comfortable and being close to the main road you do get some noise in the early morning. The house itself is quite dark but you have access to a very bright and luscious garden with plenty of beautiful orchids. The host and her family are delightful and always ensured we had what we needed. ☺️

We had a wonderful time at Marta’s place, it’s beautifully furnished and the neighborhood super relaxed. Thanks to her wonderful local tips we discovered some amazing spots here and there. The fact that the accommodation is located between two beaches made it even better, giving us a lovely variety.

We had a wonderful stay in Weligama. The accommodation was neat and the host is so kind! Worth the price. One has to consider, that the house lays directly at the main road. In total a great stay!

A beautiful well maintained villa right next to the beach. The owner Tharushi is very nice and helpful.

Beautiful space, super secluded and not too close to the main town. A very unique home with an amazing view of the ocean. If you don’t like bugs, this may not be the space for you. The dog on the property was so lovely

Thank you Liyanage for his beautiful Villa! We spent wonderfully time with my family in this house and green, quite and absolutely amazing territory. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions at any time of the day. We definetly recommend this place for staying with children or friends.

This house is perfect if you wanna stay a bit away from the main city but near enough to reach by tuk in 10 min. The house itself is beautiful (with a peacock in the garden as the house king!). The check in and check out process was very smooth and Adriana was super helpful only heads up is one of the bedrooms doesn't have a door for the bathroom so in case you're sharing it with someone, a bit of coordination is needed! all in all, it was a wonderful stay for a peaceful, happy weekend

We stayed here for 4 nights and it certainly lives up to all the fantastic reviews, it was our favourite place during our trip to Sri Lanka! It is exactly the same as the pictures, we just loved how completely private and peaceful it was - the food was fantastic and Chamara was incredibly responsive to anything we needed. Thank you so much and we’ll certainly be back!

5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

we couldn't have enjoyed our stay with Ruwan more!! the place itself is in a perfect location - quiet, away from the main road, amongst the jungle with lovely bird song, peacocks and the occasional monkey! it's still only a short walk to the main beaches/cafes/resteraunts etc. very close to great surfing on mirissa beach 👌 Ruwan our host is lovely person - super helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had a great trip. he was an excellent source of knowledge about the local area, and arranged and accompanied us on a boat trip at Matara to see the local wildlife. the breakfast each morning was delicious and something we looked forward to every day! he made us a wonderful dinner on the last night which was probably the nicest meal we had the whole week! he picked us up and dropped us off at our next accomodation. we hope to stay again in the future! thanks Ruwan 😁

We had a wonderful stay with Valentine. The room was nice and clean. Beach only 100m away with amazing sunsets. Definitely worth it!

We had a wonderful time at Surf Lodge! The location is perfect, the onsite cafe has really delicious food and drinks, and the apartment was exactly what we hoped for! Chethana is a fantastic host, too! Really friendly, proactive and attentive to his guests. Will absolutely stay here again.

We really loved our stay in the apartment. It's very nicely designed and has everything that's needed. Also, we really enjoyed cooking in the outside kitchen. The place has a nice working area if you ever need to be productive. Eva was a great host. She was there for us all the time and helped us a lot with everything. The beach is very close and several shops aren't far away.

The place was easy to find, just a 20-minute walk from the beach. It’s spacious with a large balcony and close to the jungle, where we saw monkeys, parrots, chipmunks, peacocks, mongoose, and other wildlife. The area is quiet and far from busy spots, making it great for a peaceful stay. Our host, Sujeewa, was excellent—responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with, as he is an English teacher. He provided extra pillows and large water bottles (for a fee), ensuring a comfortable stay. He also helped with washing our clothes free of charge. There were a few extra fees, but they were reasonable. The internet was fast but limited to 10 GB/day; we paid extra to upgrade his plan to unlimited as we had to work during our stay. Using the AC also had a daily fee, as it’s not a standard amenity due to past misuse by guests leaving it on unnecessarily causing high electricity costs. Overall, the accommodation offers great value for its price, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

We loved our stay at Surangas place. It was close to and the main hiri bay so super easy for us to walk around everywhere. Although close to everything it’s located in a quiet part of the neighbourhood with lots of greenery around. The kitchen had everything you could need and we had our own entrance so we had a lot of privacy. We noticed that they had listened to the previous reviews and made proactive changes which we appreciated. Suranga was also very helpful and friendly. I would recommend to anyone who wants a private place in the heart of hiri!

I stayed at Ananda's place for 5 weeks. The place is great! It was extremely clean upon check in. The place is spacious, exatly like the photos. The bed is very comfy with mosquito net. The wifi is strong and stable, perfect for remote working. They also have a small shop where you can get basic stuff such as water, cookies, soap, etc. Very convenient. The location is good. You can walk to the beach, 10-15 min. Ananda and his wife Malika are super host. Very sweet and atentive, they took care about everything so my stay was perfect. Malika is an excellent cook. She cooks absolutely delicious Sri Lankan food for a very reasonable price (way cheaper than any restaurant). It was without any doubt the best local food I tried in Sri Lanka. Definetly a must try! I recommend the place 100%! :)

I had an amazing stay at Crystal Villa Weligama, a perfect retreat for relaxation and productivity. The villa features 3 beautifully designed bedrooms, making it ideal for families or groups. The cozy living room and dining area are perfect for unwinding and enjoying meals together. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need, and with fiber optic internet, it’s great for digital nomads. Located in a calm and quiet area, the villa offers a large garden for relaxation. Just 800 meters from the beach and town, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to enjoy the sun and surf. The neighborhood is safe and secure, ideal for families. The host, Ruwan, is incredibly helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. Crystal Villa Weligama is one of the best places to stay in the area, offering comfort, convenience, and tranquility. I highly recommend it for both work and leisure.

Mathilda is an amazing host who gave us lots of great tips and was always very available and helpful. The apartment is great, beautifully decorated, comfortable and fresh! It is in a quiet area but within walking distance to Mirissa beach. It was incredibly nice to come home to this quiet place after an active day. The terrace is large and a great place to enjoy the surroundings birds. An additional plus is Ayomi who helps on site with what you might need! We would be glad to come back! /Jonas & Diana
