Vacation rentals with breakfast in Rekawa Lagoon

A beautifully designed house, directly on the sands of a lovely quiet beach. Perfect for swimming, surfing or snorkeling! Views of the ocean can be seen from every room in the house. Our highlights were afternoon drinks in the pool, and champagne in the hot tub of an evening. The house is immaculate, and the staff are so attentive. The chef is fantastic, best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka! The house is walking distance to great restaurants, cafes and the very popular ‘Doctors House’. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Lakshmans nephew was very helpful with all our needs. The house was clean and tidy and spacious. Everything we needed was there. One bed was very firm and in the other was more soft. The night was quiet for sleeping. The location could have been better, but, it was close enough for walking distance to shops and beach etc. Very good value for price. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend.

Host is so nice,his house is really cool and attractive! They prepared a wonderful breakfast and they were always there if we needed anything.An amazing experience.

Value for money, great times, good local knowledge, and fun times. We had a blast here. Yes there is still some work that needs to be done, but the hosts made us feel like family, and treated us so well. The food was amazing, and the welcome we felt was indicative of all we came to expect from Sri Lanka. The beach is amazing and the local people took us to their hearts. Please, please give this host your attention, and share the love we felt. Well worth the trip!

The place is located 50 m from the top 5 best beaches of Sri Lanka. You can simply walk and enjoy it. The room has AC and hot water, two big beds with very comfortable mattress. The area is very tranquil. At night one day dogs were barking but one hard shout put them in order :) The food was tasty and breakfast was on flexible timing. Sandaru is an excellent host who was accommodating all our need and some extra. We will be back for sure.

We had a very nice stay here. The room was clean, the terrace a great plus. The drinking water, which is provided, was also great. Manoj and his family served us a great breakfast every morning directly on our terrace. In 2 minutes you will be on the beautiful quiet beach where you can swim and surf. Manoj was accessible at all times and responded quickly and helped. Everything is wonderful, you don't go wrong here:)

Despite an address issue due to Google map, we really enjoyed our stay. we though we would be inland at the back of Hiriketiya beach. we were instead nicely secluded by a rocky little cove, no tourists except for us... Ranjith was very helpful in getting to us by scooter and paying for a tuk-tuk to repatriate us to his property. we were welcomed with a breath taking view and drinks... the room, if small is comfortable and clean. Its size is well compensated by a outside shaded area were you can enjoy peace and relaxation. breakfast was one of the best we had with airbnb host. highly recommended for nature lovers who want to stand out out of the way of mass tourism.

It was the most beautiful stay in 3 weeks Srilanka. It was quiet and beautiful. We had room no. 3, which was open to nature and we liked it very much. Lova and Lee welcomed us super warmly and felt totally comfortable. We were able to borrow a scooter very easily through an acquaintance and it was fun to explore the surrounding area. The dogs were absolutely lovely and it was a pleasure to be a part of Ocean Eye. Absolutely recommended 💓💓

We slept three nights in this wonderful house and it was amazing! The hosts are very nice and accommodating. They have the best breakfast in Sri Lanka and they will try to fulfill all your wishes. It was really great. We would always come back!

Really great accommodation nearby to beautiful quiet beaches - as a female solo traveler I always felt safe. Manju’s food is also the most delicious food I’ve eaten in Sri Lanka, would return just for this!

We stayed 4 nights, very nice accommodation, nice kitchen, everything is functional. Very good hosting by Nisha, always smiling and ready to help you. She even adapted the French breakfast which is hearty... she booked a scooter for us, bus, tuk tuk nearby, small convenience store, very good inexpensive restaurant 5 minutes away on the beach. We highly recommend it.

A guesthouse where it is good to stay to find peace and quiet and proximity to the beaches. The welcome is great, we had an excellent fresh fruit juice upon arrival. The family is discreet and always smiling. Excellent breakfast and dinner. The room matches the description and is clean. I would highly recommend it

Donis place is one of our favourite places in Sri Lanka! We even came back a second time because we just love it here. The room is so clean and beautifully decorated, the bathroom as well and it smells so good:)) The best is doni herself. She made us an incredible breakfast every morning and let us use the washing machine for free! Also she is such a kind and caring person. She made us really feel at home! The area itself is really quiet and we could rent a scooter from doni to explore the beautiful beaches! I’m sure we will be back a third time if we can :))
