12/10. The accommodation is truly fantastic! We stayed there as a couple, and it was an entire villa. The private pool is a dream, and the kitchen is excellently equipped. It’s very quiet and private, yet you can reach the beach and town incredibly quickly. The housekeeper is absolutely wonderful - so kind and helpful. We would come back anytime and are really sad to leave after just two nights. If you have the chance to book this accommodation, do it!!

It was such a Nice Place to live! 5 min to Mirissa Beach But still a quiet Place.

Just a perfect place. Cute houses with open bathroom, very nice people working there. Beautiful beach almost empty. Animals and nature at your hand. Would go there next time.

Gaia Soul was actually the reason we wanted to go to Sri Lanka. And — (even though we never travel to the same places again) Gaia Soul will be the reason we have to go back. The pool and the skate ramp were so much fun. There are a lot of different hang out zones, so you will always find a comfortable spot. The place is so tidy and clean at all times. The exterior is really nice with the concrete and the orange and pink flowers. The garden areas are taken care og daily. There is a beautiful beach 5 minute walking distance. 
You can order food all day from the neighbour restaurant, that serves delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. (You have to try the curry with coconut sambol and the breakfast pancakes) Sanduni and her team will take care of you from you arrive until departure. We had two morning yoga sessions with Sarka. She is a great yoga teacher. It felt so special to just walk to the open jungle yoga studio in the beautiful wild surroundings. Thank you so much Baxter!

We had a lovely stay in the Ocean cottage! We really appreciated the pool, sunbeds and view! It was a really peaceful and calm surrounding. The bedrooms were spacious and clean and a smaller kitchen and dining area and also very friendly caretakers. We didn’t get the private chef but had good restaurants near by!

The service we received from Chaminda was second to none. On top of that each breakfast we had was so tasty and different plus the dinner he prepared on our last night was one of our best in Sri Lanka! We had great communication throughout from the Airbnb host and the location is less than a 2 minute walk to the beautiful Mawella beach. 10/10 highly recommend ⭐️

Our group stayed 4 nights at Simon’s house in Kalemetiya. What a treat ! we felt like movie stars with their own private beach front home. The house is large and well appointed with 4 well spaced bedrooms with en suite. The house has a large lawn from the rear leading to the beach with a pool area a children’s pool, a covered veranda and then a small wooden fence leading to the ocean. We would get our massages in the covered area, listening to the waves and also do yoga there. Dinesh and Runi took amazing care of us. Rooney cooked our breakfast and did laundry and kept the place spotless. Dinesh arranged massages, recommended restaurants drove us to Colombo. He also hosted our driver and Guide. Simon, the host was responsive and flexible. In the morning, you could walk along the beach and see the villagers fishing with their traditional boats. The beach is very clean. It is very wavy and not the best place for swimming, but you can definitely take dips. An amazing place.

The beautiful Beach House - Reef House - is located in a quiet spot in Madhia overlooking the ocean. The location is around 20 to 25 minutes drive to Mirissa beach with Welligama beach little further ahead. The location worked perfectly for us since our intention was mainly to relax and step out for short outings. While one cannot swim in the ocean in front of the house, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of waves & dips in the pool. The reef house is tastefully done, comfortable with basic amenities including good wifi. There’s a room on the ground floor which is perfect for elderly guests or anyone who might find stairs challenging. Swell cafe for coffee fix is right opposite the house. Charitha is cordial, prompt with replies & is available to answer queries. Indika is kind & took excellent care of us. Siri cooked us delicious meals. This was our first time living with pets and to be honest Gaston and Bella were a delight to have around. We had memorable stay at the Reef House.

We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Andy and Daniel’s beautiful pool house, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect getaway. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed – Andy and Daniel are the kindest, most thoughtful hosts you could hope for. The pool house itself is lovely, and especially our daughter very much enjoyed the pool. We tried the home cooked breakfast and dinner as well, which was delicious! Andy went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her warmth and hospitality made our stay all the more memorable. It’s rare to find an airbnb that feels so effortlessly welcoming. Can’t recommend this magical place enough!

Awesome villa 20m from one of the best beaches in Tangalle area. House was perfect, Suresh and his wife treated us great, helped to arrange anything we needed. Definitely will be back here if we come back to this area of Sri Lanka

I had an incredible stay at this beautiful property for two days. The private beach was a dream, and I had the once in a lifetime opportunity to witness turtle hatchlings making their way to the ocean at night. It was truly magical. The Sri Lankan food prepared by the cook was absolutely delicious some of the best I’ve ever had! The staff were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, they also arrange a candle light dinner I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, unique getaway!

This is not a luxury property but a wonderful typical Sri Lankan property. Close to a small beach with diving and snorkeling centres. Also Mirissa is only a short tuk tuk ride away with its larger beach and many restaurants. The host, Ranga, and his family did everything to make our stay wonderful. Thank you

Lucas place met our expectations. We loved the privacy and location amongst the locals. We loved spotting all the beautiful birds and wildlife in the backyard. Waking up to the birdsong in the morning was so very special. Nimesh and Niroshi went above and beyond to make us feel like home. The home cooked meals were delicious. We were a group of 7 and all had enough room and space to feel at home. We all can’t wait to visit again!

The White House Lodge was amazing. Janaka and his family made us instantly feel welcome and at home. The apartment is quite spacious and you'll be provided with everything you need. the terrace is very beautiful as well. Everything in Madiha is in walkable distance. Janaka helped us with tuktuks and car rides as well.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend! We were four adults staying here for 3 days and our time flew by. The property is located on a stunning, pristine beach. Aside from fishermen in the morning and a spattering of tourists, we had the beach to ourselves for most of the day. The property looks just like the photos - nice rooms and a swimming pool which the staff cleaned daily. A highlight of our stay was the home cooked food. We had fantastic Sri Lankan meals thanks to the villa's team. Only major complaint was the lack of outdoor umbrellas - we had to keep moving our lounge chairs to follow the shade from the trees throughout the day. Also we were able to enjoy swimming but note that the waves on this beach can be deceptively powerful - be careful if you have kids.

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

Ruwan is an extremely kind person who is very keen to ensure that you do not miss anything. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was very clean. There was a fridge full of free water. Breakfast times were by arrangement, which we found very pleasant. Breakfast could have varied a bit more (it was the same every day). Ruwan organized transportation for us to the next accommodation at the Uber price. And the driver was very nice too. We took a trip to the turtles and to Galle together with Ruwan, which I had honestly imagined a little differently. I thought he was something like a tour guide who would also give us information, but he just drove us. I found the price to be a bit too high for that. But it was still very nice and a good idea. We do not regret spending 4 nights with Ruwan and can recommend it with a clear conscience. I'd love to go there again.

Such a magic and breathtaking place on earth. The house is quite simple but fresh with separate bedrooms with separate doors. But what a location. Your private paradise beach but with restaurants and small nice hotels as neighbors. Tangalle town is small, friendly and with amazing restaurants. Quite and genuine. To the left you have long beaches with sea turtles. To the right more friendly to swim. The ocean is so close and the only surprise was how roaring the Tangalle coast ocean is. Bring earplugs plugs for better sleep. But all worth it waking up walking two meters and tipping the toes in sand. In your own private villa. We were a family of four and enjoyed the bedrooms, bathrooms en suite and cosy balcony and outdoor terass.

We loved it here. A short walk to a reef break. Amazing breakfast & coffees. Lovely chilled vibe with the kindest of staff. We were so sad to leave. Can’t recommend it enough.

The house was absolutely stunning amidst 7 acres of green lush gardens. Everything was exquisitely decorated making it the perfect sanctuary to relax and enjoy Mirissa. Close to Mirissa beach and also 10 -15 min walk to secret beach so lots of options nearby. Jankana and the team made delicious meals for us every day with an abundance of choice and variety too! Jankana offered us great local recommendations too for surfing. Laundry was also returned back to us within a few hours which was so welcome after a week on the road. Just such a special place!
