Great weekend trip! Modern place great for a weekend getaway with friends. Stacey was responsive and a great host.

The cabin is a perfect place to stay for a getaway. It’s private, beautiful, and comfortable. It has all of the things you need. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back!

House was as described and comfortable. It is a peaceful area and our dogs loved having lots of yard to play and run, and patrol for deer. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch rain and shine. It would have been nice to have a Keurig coffee machine but the kitchen is otherwise well equipped. Beds were all comfortable and house was clean. It was nice having a washer/dryer to use. The gas grill and hot tub were both a plus. Great place to visit when you want to bring the pups with you. Not a lot to do in the area but a visit to the Luray Caverns is worth it as well as a ride along Skyline Drive. For little ones, there is a playground behind the local elementary school as well as a nice one in Luray. Walmart, Food Lion, Dunkin, and other stores are conveniently located in Luray. Triple Crown BBQ was a hit for takeout and Chop House Bistro was excellent for dinner out. As is clearly noted in the home, ticks are plentiful so dogs should be checked regularly - we found a few on them daily.

Excellent stay, everything was as described and the location is beautiful and very peaceful. Highly recommend, we plan to return. Topac was very responsive and helpful.

Fantastic stay. The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and has many small details/extras. The space was clearly professionally designed. Spent lots of time at the fire pit and hot tub. Nice path leading down to the river. We will be back.

Our second year staying in this beautiful, peaceful cabin was even better than the first. The space is lovely and immaculately clean, and the outdoor setting is huge, private and gorgeous. The hosts went way above and beyond and are extremely responsive. Thank you for a perfect stay!!!!!

Sundance was everything we hoped and more! The pictures really don't do the view or the river access justice, they are breathtaking. The back wall full of windows and sliding screen doors made us feel like we were in the middle of the woods even as we were sitting on the couch, which is exactly what we wanted. The kitchen had all the necessary tools and the cookies and coffee were very appreciated! Easy to spend the day lounging by the river roasting marshmallows and hotdogs on the firepit, playing cards on the deck and watching the sunset over the mountains, or hopping over to one of the many nearby hiking trails. We'll definitely be back.

This Cabin was nice, clean, and private. Very happy with my stay. The road to get to the cabin is a bit rough and especially the final bit of the driveway but I was able to make it up carefully in a lowered sports car. I don’t fault the host for this but just thought others should be aware.

THIS is a great house and property!! It’s a beautiful modern feeling cabin. And this place is super clean!!!! I can’t stress this enough. The bedrooms are so comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We used the laundry area and all. Living room is very comfy with great seating. Outside on the back is a patio sofa, fun lighting and a swing. The front entry is very easy to get into. Great gravel driveway and just a few steps to the door. There is a great fire pit with a huge swing. It is private. It felt very safe. And the pool table room was so fun! We spent lots of time there. Plenty of towels, blankets, throws, etc. We highly recommend this property and would love to come back.

Absolutely LOVED this place! Only regret was we didn’t book an extra night there! Highly recommend for a serene Mountain View.

I wish I could have stayed longer! Sandra's cabin is exactly as described. Very clean, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It's the perfect place for a getaway.

Julia's place is an Idyllic setting - so tranquil, yet close enough to a great tavern for dinner. Amazing - we cannot wait to come back.

This house was the ultimate retreat! If you want a peaceful, secluded place to relax and recharge, this is the rental for you! Amazing views especially at sunrise and sunset. Wildlife abounds. Literally no urban noise at all, just quiet solitude. Don’t let the drive up to the property intimidate you, easily accessible as described with 2WD in the summer. Matt was an awesome host, very responsive! The house itself was spotless and included many welcoming touches. Pictures are completely accurate. Many nice extras included if you are bringing your small kids, including toys, pack and play and high chair. Convenient 15-20 min drive to Shenandoah National Park. We would definitely return to this property!

This cabin was BETTER than the photos. The view is so beautiful that film can't do it justice. I was so happy when we arrived. The screened in porch was wonderful to spend time in, especially in the morning since you can listen to all the birds. The hammock was peaceful and hearing the water was wonderful. This cabin is a gem, it was worth the stay. Wish we could've stayed longer than a weekend! Luray has so much to do in the area. Highly recommend staying here. Even when a tree fell (due to harsh weather) and blocked the road, within minutes of messaging Anita she had someone coming out to clear the way. Just a overalm wonderful experience! Make sure to go get breakfast at Gathering Grounds Cafe! Best Chai latte in town!

I will absolutely be returning here. My wife and I had a perfect weekend staying at this beautiful place… everything was as described. It was very quiet, could hear the river from the porch, and the hosts were more than accommodating. Best host I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying with. Will be included in my family’s annual vacation itinerary! 10/10 would recommend

Norean’s Place “The Gramophone” was excellent. Everything was just as described. Easy to access door entrance, Beautiful scenery, very peaceful and comfortable. Everything was definitely perfect and exceeded my expectations. It’s deep in the woods in a community where you are away from your worries. The amenities were easy to access. And most importantly SHE IS AN EXCELLENT HOST! We will definitely rebook again in the future and I recommend this place to anyone.

The cabin was amazing. I wanted a place to take my wife away for two nights to give her a place and time to relax and not worry about the everyday tasks she deals with. This was exactly the place. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. There is not a single thing I would change, other than I wish it were my own private cabin. This place is that good. If you need a place to get away, reserve this. I promise you will have no regrets. There were two places I was considering and I was torn between them but I’m glad I settled on this one. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pans, dishes, etc. The bed was comfortable, bathroom well stocked and the entire experience was better than we could’ve hoped. We will definitely be back. If the day ever comes that the hosts sell this property, I hope I’m around. I should also add that the host was extremely responsive and kind as well. 10/10.

Loved staying at the Bunkhouse! Really nice and quiet. Perfect getaway for when you want to get out if the city. Lots of cool things to do close by. Maureen was super friendly and fast in all her communications. Would definitely love to come back!

If you're looking for a worry-free country holiday with your doggos, this is the place. It was so relaxing to be able to let our two run freely in the fenced yard, while still being remote enough to feel you're alone in the woods. We had deer, squirrels, humming birds, fire flies and the neighbour's dog visit. The cabin is really cute yet with all modern comforts and made the experience.

WOW! What a peaceful, tranquil place! Due to it all being one room except the bathroom, it reminds me of a treehouse just adding to its charm. Beautiful lush gardens (providing veg. & Herbs) flowers and woodland surroundings. Nice large (I believe to be an eastern redbud) tree canopy over the back porch filtering out some of the hot sun. Fresh eggs and cream upon arrival, a-swell as a sweet welcome note, flowers and a treat. Not much on the Mountain View’s but I was there during the spring when the plants and trees are full. A bumpy ride up but well worth the trip! Thank you for sharing ur place with us. We really enjoyed our stay.

Honestly everything about this stay was great! It was really peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect stay for our anniversary. The hot tub was super nice and the views of the sunrise and sunset were so amazing! Would absolutely love to stay here again!!

From the moment I set foot on the property my heart skipped a beat. Everything about our stay was a perfect. The cabin was clean and cozy. All the practical things comfortable bed, cold ac, hot shower, well stocked kitchen, comfy couch, big windows for taking in the peaceful surroundings and watching the bison. Getting into town was an easy 15min drive if you wish. But I never wanted to leave. I could not have wished for a better view of the bison. I watched them come out into the pasture every morning, sun bathe, munch on grass, roll in the dirt, and retire up the hill each evening. This was the most amazingly relaxing couple of days and more than I could have dreamed. I cannot wait to return.
