Loved our stay here! It was cozy and peaceful for a little weekend getaway. While it was rainy we still had a lovely view of the water and stuff to do nearby (recommend the antiques marketplace). Kelcey was helpful and communicative! Want to come back to read on that beautiful screened porch!

The house was comfortable and I loved that you could hear the creek from the house with windows open. We’ll definitely be going back!

We had a great stay! Olivia was an excellent host. The place had the perfect vibe for a girls weekend and birthday celebration. The only issue we had was needing to catch 2 wasps that were in the house, but we were able to take care of that without issue. It was so nice to have so many towels and amenities that you don’t normally have in an Airbnb. Thanks again!

I had a wonderful stay at Chris and Sandy’s farm guesthouse. It was very easy to find and exceeded my expectations. They were the best hosts and I would definitely return. I especially loved feeding the donkey, Jasper. Sandy and Chris went out of their way to make it feel like home for us. Thanks again for the Yoder’s icecream recommendation, we loved seeing the free petting zoo.

Had a lovely weekend in VA at Dollys place, and at a really great price. The house was very charming, though very clearly older, but everything about it was within what I consider normal expectations with an older home out in this area. We really enjoyed spending time in the backyard, which was fenced in and had a charming fire pit and table. Our dogs and kids alike took advantage of the ample room for activities back there! Dolly and her husband were very responsive and easy to reach and talk to. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!

We had an amazing stay. The location was very peaceful and private. Loved the record collection and sound system. Hot tub and fire pit were great. He left very detailed instructions on everything. Perfect getaway for a couple. We already booked a return visit!

This was the perfect weekend getaway! We enjoyed drinking morning coffee on the porch with our pup and soaking in the hot tub at night. We visited a local winery and had delicious meals in town! Definitely a great place to wind down for a few days!

The place was exactly as advertised and we had a fantastic time. This was our second time staying at the resort and it certainly did not disappoint. The place was secluded and peaceful and everything was wonderful

My family was attending a wedding and Patti’s Place was perfect for my whole family. Big bathroom for us to share with plenty of big clean towels for all of us (5). Well equipped kitchen so we didn’t have to eat out every meal. The loft was a huge hit for the kids as well as being next to the horses. Only things to be aware of is that the front door was hard to keep shut and there were no matches/lighters or wood. So make sure to BYO to enjoy the lovely fire pit outside. Patti was responsive and the checkout tasks were not too overwhelming. Thank you for having us.

Jennifer's cottage is great! It is quiet, peaceful, and private but still right in the middle of everything - a 30 second walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Would also be really convenient for folks visiting the Naval Academy or St Johns. We had a great time and will almost certainly be back.

This is our second time staying there and we loved it! So close to Orange so we can run into town and get food, come back home and relax. The dog has a fenced space to run around in and even friends (Hillary's pups) on the other side of the fence to run around with :) It is the perfect place for us to unwind, relax, and prepare for our international travels! We loved the house; cozy, nicely decorated, with many pieces of original art that really added character. The kitchen is well stocked for those who like to cook. The location right on the water was wonderful, and Nancy provided kayaks, which we took advantage of. Our dog was beside himself with so much room to run. Nancy’s daughter and family live next door, and we spent quite a few hours enjoying conversation and local knowledge with them. We would go back again.

This was our third time staying here and it is always wonderful. The property itself is beautiful and peaceful. Our dog loves the fenced in yard and dog amenities (water bowl, poop bags). The coffee that Billy provides is so good and much appreciated. Phone coverage can be spotty (the provide wifi works great), so the recommendations and directions provided in the Welcome binder are very useful. Love it here & hoping we will be able to visit again soon.

This was our second stay with Bob and Lolly in Tall Timbers, and it did not disappoint! Immersed in books and history, this quaint cottage was the perfect getaway. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The Hobbit House was the perfect getaway! Everything was as described and more. The bathroom was super clean, the bed cozy and the location wonderful! I enjoyed the animals…they made me smile. Angela was an attentive host. This was a fantastic solo getaway!

Me and my boyfriend wanted to find a place to get away and this was a great spot to feel especially near the wonderful beach & setting, We love their backyard and creative decoration in the cottage!

WE had a lovely weekend stay at Bret's place. It was a cold, snowy trip but we still took long walks up the road and watched the snow fall with a roaring fire. Bret did a good job reaching out to make sure everything went smoothly. The kitchen is quite small but has everything you need to cook some good meals. Would be a cool place to visit in warmer months with the lovely creek right outside the front door! Do note the water is pretty smelly so you can do everything with it but drink, but there is plenty of drinking water provided.

We loved our stay at Janet’s place! She was incredibly easy to communicate with, and the house was absolutely perfect—comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. We especially enjoyed being nestled into Ewell, with convenient access to the water, shops, food, and golf cart rentals. It made for a truly relaxing and memorable getaway.

My husband and I stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding in Manquin. We just loved it! Our favorite thing was the covered porch where we ate our breakfast, and watched Bald Eagles. The property is off the beaten path, but VERY close to a grocery store. About 5 minutes to the interstate, so it is very accessible to anything. There is a horse farm across from the property, and it was very enjoyable to watch the horses. We also watched Bald Eagles from the front porch!! The cottage was very clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower amazing! Would definitely stay again!

Kay takes pride in this property and it shows in her attention to detail. It is a lovely place to stay and she personalizes the experience to make you feel welcomed. The home is well decorated and super clean. We loved our stay!

It was a great stay. Host was responsive and home was calm and clean. Loved seeing the osprey from bed! Those windows highlighted the beautiful view. The weather was a bit dumpy but the space provided everything we needed.

An adorable little cottage for a weekend getaway in the mountains! The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has all the essentials and the host baked fresh muffins to welcome us. Clear instructions in the welcome packet and around the appliances. The screened in porch is perfect for enjoying the vineyard views. Close by national and state parks and a bustling walkable downtown.

If you are looking for a place to disrupt busy life & a place to chill with a waterfront view, Harris Cove Cottages Bed 'N Boat is just what you are looking for! (Harris Creek is a tidal creek tributary in Chesapeake Bay.) We had a cozy & relaxing stay in a waterfront cottage. The accommodation got the basic needs taken care of. Catching Blue Claw Crabs was plentiful from both going out on a boat & from their docks. We brought our own crab traps & made use of their ice machine for keeping our live catches fresh then used their steam station to prepare our crabs. They provide use of their kayaks, canoes, & even have life vests (bring your own for young kids) free of charge. They offer power boat rentals, or you can bring your own & use their dock. Our young child absolutely enjoyed exploring & already talks about returning. Family fun time! Would we revisit?
