Carolina and Pedro were amazing hosts! They were so helpful with local recommendations, letting us check in early, checking when the store would be open on a holiday, and setting out a welcome basket including chocolate easter bunnies for our kids. The property is very private and peaceful and so beautiful! They gave us a tour of the pineapple greenhouses, which was so cool. The property is just as pictured, very clean and well appointed, with plenty of space for a family of four. I would certainly recommend their place and stay there again.

We had a cozy stay at Maria's place, despite the generally bad weather. It really was a haven. Warm, quiet, nice kitchen, and a good home base for exploring the island by car (complete with off-street parking, a luxury in Santo António). Maria is kind and welcoming. We'd love to return someday.

Fantastic "Villa Mirante" accommodation. The interior spaces are perfectly designed with quality finishes. Great attention to detail. Large garden and solarium in private roof. Maximum privacy. If you are looking for a minimalist-style house, with large windows, that makes you feel in touch with the outside nature, this is the place.

Our family of 5 spent a little over 3 weeks here and very much enjoyed our time. The location is perfect - in walking distance to a beach, a restaurant and a grocery store. It's only a short drive into either Lagoa or Ponta Delgada, and you can get to anywhere on the island in under an hour. The place itself was very clean and has lots of space. The pool is beautiful, though in May it was too cold to realistically use - our kids tried it out for about 10 minutes, but we weren't that brave. Kitchen was well stocked, wifi was fast and reliable, and it was relatively quiet despite being on a main road. Vanda was very responsive and helpful. We had a few things that needed fixing during our stay, and she arranged to have them dealt with without any complaint. Highly recommended - would definitely consider staying here again if we were to come back.

We can’t say enough great things about Miguel’s place. The house was perfect for our group of four—a beautiful, peaceful space to relax and recharge after long days of walking and hiking. The photos honestly don’t do it justice; it’s even more stunning in person. The sea pool is absolutely incredible—one of the highlights of our stay. We would return in a heartbeat!

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

We’re a multi generational family of seven, really enjoyed our stay in Ribeira Grande. The home is an easy walk to the beach and is well located for getting in and out of the city. It’s close to a grocery store to either walk or drive to. Upon our arrival after an overnight flight it was wonderful to have milk, bread, wine etc there waiting for us. Having three bathrooms was very handy, especially when traveling with children. The enclosed back yard was great for the safety and privacy. We made use of the picnic table for several meals. Just want to mention that two of the four bedrooms really aren’t appropriate for very young children as the loft room is open concept overlooking the entryway and a small child could squeeze through the railings. The fourth bedroom has no door, just curtains that don’t quite provide the privacy that some guests might prefer. We made it all work for us though, just want to point this out to other potential guests. We appreciated a bit later check out

We enjoyed our stay in Kevin’s place and in beautiful Sao Miguel! Kevin was very helpful before our stay with recommendations, and his home is very clean and comfortable, we loved the back patio in the evening sunshine too! Others have noted the noise from the road outside, it is there but you get used to it after the first night and the house is very well located to walk easily to the sea front and to drive around the rest of the island too. Parking was really handy too. Thank you for a good stay!

house organized into two connected apartments (one on each floor) so two kitchens two dining room lounges... fully equipped accommodation and with everything that may need to be hygiene products products cleaning a few foodstuffs that helped us well during our late arrival, beach towels available... it feels good. very comfortable bedding. we had a wonderful stay. thank you for your kindness your attention and communication.

The views from the balcony are stunning, and the place is comfortable. We did have issues with having to re-set the electrical breaker quite a few times , and the wi-fi was transmitting to the 'guest house" so we alerted the management. The home is on a tricky, curvy road around a blind curve so be aware of that. The town is quite small and the 2 restaurants were closed off-season so we drove to nearby villages each day, so take that into consideration, depending on when you are traveling. One more house thing is that if you're traveling with young children, or you like to watch TV, be aware that the TV is in an awkward place (in the kitchen, where there's no real place to sit and watch from that vantage point) so if watching a show is your preference, this isn't a good option. Otherwise, you'll find the couches to be comfy facing the views outside which is lovely.

The place is located on the northeast side of the island. With the expressway, almost all coastal and inland attractions can be viewed and experienced, by car of course. We felt very comfortable in the house. Large, spacious furnished. Fantastic ocean views, quiet, rural. Highly recommended.

Azoriani’s place was even better than advertised. Each room had hotel quality bedding and an individual ensuite washroom. The size, location and layout was perfect for a big group. We loved the proximity to the downtown and the grocery store. Highly recommend.

Great stay at Lagoa, very responsive host, nice place with easy access to the parking. Highly recommended.

The house was clean and bigger than I expected. They had everything we needed. The back yard is gorgeous! Walk out to the ocean, have breakfast and listen to the waves. 20 minutes to Ponta Delgada, under an hour from anywhere on the whole island. Absolutely recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Helenas place! The apt was SO clean and having a private parking spot was great. It was so close to town and walking distance to the beach. If we needed anything Helena responded back very quickly-was wonderful to deal with. Would highly recommend!

This place was great! It sits directly across from the ocean and the waking/bike path. We walked, even at night, and felt safe. We rented a car. Parking was tight but we were able to park next to the apartment. We would definitely stay again!

We have been at the parents house for a week and had an amazing time. The view from the balcony is insane and the whole Apartment has beautiful furniture. The communication was also very easy and lovely. Thus I can highly recommend this apartment for everybody who is doing vacation on the Azores.

We were warmly welcomed and lovingly cared for. The design of the house is unique, the central location fantastic, as the entire island can be reached from here with a comparatively short drive. We'd love to come back someday. Thank you so much!!

Antonio’s place was perfect! He was a great host, quick to respond to any questions we had, allowed us to check in much earlier because of our 6:00am arrival to the island and offered to help us throughout our stay. The cleaning crew even changed out our towels three times during our week stay! The home is in a quiet location in Agua de Pau and a quick walk to the ocean. We would certainly stay here again!
