Vacation rentals in Ribeira Grande

The place was amazing! Very large space, with a beautiful kitchen for feeling right at home. The little balcony was perfect for morning coffee. Located right beside a super market so you are able to really take advantage of the Airbnb amenities by getting groceries. Parking was easy, although not private (there is a public parking lot) but we never had an issue getting a spot. Close proximity to the beach for anyone wanting to take advance of the local surfing. The beach was beautiful for sunset and for playing in the waves. We would totally recommend this spot to anyone!!

Miguel is the perfect host! Their home is welcoming and cozy. They were very thoughtful in preparing the home for us. They provided fresh local supplies for our arrival that actually lasted several days - eggs, cheeses, meat, fruit and wine. Finding the house was very easy, Miguel provided excellent directions that were easy to follow. The location of the home is perfect - there are several hiking trails just steps from the house and the view of the ocean and surrounding landscape is incredible. You can hear the ocean from inside the home. We enjoyed our trip here so much and appreciate Miguel for taking such great care of us.

Victor and his family were absolutely fabulous. So welcoming and helpful. Even waking early to allow us to check-in early. Our three children loved our stay and are asking to go back to “our other house” everyday. They loved the foosball table, bunk beds and feeding the ducks. Things were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bedrooms large and the kitchen had everything we would need. Washer and dryer was so wonderful! Vitor’s place was central on the island so we were able to explore all over but never be too far from home. Don’t question it, book his place today. We would return in a heartbeat

Excellent accommodation with a breathtaking view of the sea thanks to the 3 huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities close to the accommodation. Only small downside: there is a paved road right in front of the accommodation which brings a small noise disturbance when passing cars

The place was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and maintained. We were super happy with our stay☺️ Only the number of cutlery for 3+ people was a little too small.

As advertised. Well appointed kitchen. Quite and peaceful location, all the recommendations the host recommended served us well. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in Fatima’s place in Maia for 8 days. The house is in a beautiful location and is very well furnished. We wanted peace and quiet next to the ocean and that is exactly what we got. The village of Maia is a small but beautiful location close to many beautiful viewpoints . Fatima was very responsive and provided clear and timely instructions. The house has all that you need for a relaxing vacation. The rear balcony has very beautiful views of the ocean and the mountains. Thank you Fatima for your hospitality.

Danny's place was everything what we needed at the time to have a break from the very busy city life. We enjoyed cooking in fully equipped kitchen which helped us to discover many Azorean local products to create our own meals. We enjoyed discovering surrounding nature areas by walking everywhere with our backpacks and also by using bikes rented directly from Danny. The birds have been singing every morning and the garden gave as an impression, that we live in the little jungle what was absolutely stunning. The place was extremely clean and had everything what we needed to feel comfortable. Try local cottage cheese while staying there as we got addicted to it. lol Thank you for everything. Nélio was the Best host we have ever had at an Airbnb! He was extremely helpful, responsive, and friendly . He gave us great advice on what to say and do. It felt like we were staying at a friend’s house more than a rental. The cottage was cozy, quiet, and perfect for us. We will be coming back here again if we can. Loved every Minute here!
