Very nice local house, has everything necessary inside. Host was very friendly and gave lots of local recommendations. House is located in quite neighbourhood with some beautiful views. Perfect if you travel by car, because makes good staring point to explore eastern part of the island.

We stayed at Maria's place for a week. It was beautiful, the place, view and the garden, a dream. Everything was clean, the kitchen really well equipped. We were able to heat and cool as desired. If something was missing, it was brought immediately as Maria was also on site. Maria told us many stories and tips about the island, which was very interesting and helpful. We could park our car in the locked courtyard. We were very safe all over the property. The internet sometimes didn't work, so if you want to work there, you're warned. Yes, it has two curious cats, but they are super sweet and can be carried away when they are in the way. We recommend Maria's place to anyone who wants to explore São Miguel with a car and appreciate quiet morning and evening hours. We would come back to stay:)

Everything was great, starting from the house itself with the extraordinary garden that surrounds it, to the hospitality of Peter who is very friendly and makes sure that you don't miss anything so that you have a perfect vacation in a place that is considered one of the most beautiful places on earth. We had all the facilities and more, Peter helped us indications for a good restaurant in the neighborhood and also with the transport to Ponta Delgada where we rented a car. We felt very well, the house is in total harmony with the garden, which in turn is in total harmony with Sao Miguel. Together with the garden, the property is very quiet and cozy and you have to see it with your own eyes. Cameras will never be able to capture the experiences you have in such a place. Thank you Peter, it was an extraordinary vacation in a dream place.

Margarida's Orange Apartment was perfect for a couple looking for a serene place to serve as a home base for our first visit to Sao Miguel, Azores. I mean, anytime you are greeted by a small herd of friendly cows walking up to your little outside deck, it's a good sign, right? We chose Ribeira Grande for our 5-day stay because it was away from Ponta Delgada, but still has some lovely restaurants as well as easy access to anywhere on the island. The apartment is part of a property that apparently has been in the family for generations. Simply charming. And, because of the thick walls, great windows and shutters and fine bed linens, sleep was wonderful! The second morning we didn't set an alarm, so we slept for 12 hours. Badly needed apparently, after a 24 hours of travel two days earlier.

Pedro's place was great: clean, convenient, had eberything we needed. Pedro is a great host-very responsive, caring and proactive. Will definitely recommend the place for stay.

We had a great time at the Azores! The home was a great “home base” for our group while we explored Sao Miguel. The house was clean and as described in the listing. We felt at home and loved being right by the beach. Parking was easy, and we could get there and go easily. We tried many restaurants near home, and Bruno provided many recommendations.

Absolutely beautiful home and amazing location! We loved waking up to the ocean view everyday. Only thing to be careful of is the address Airbnb shows on the listing will not take you to the house. Use the link that the host messages directly to you.
