Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Quincy

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home nestled in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with incredibly friendly neighbors. The house was spotless from top to bottom, and the rooms were spacious and more than comfortable for our family of four. It was the perfect place to stop and relax after a long car trip—calm, cozy, and so thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the nice fenced-in backyard, which felt safe and secure for our toddler to explore and play. The inclusion of a pack-n-play and high chair made traveling with young kids much easier. There were chilled cups in the freezer—a simple but thoughtful touch—and plenty of options for hot drinks, which made our evening extra enjoyable. Every detail seemed to have been considered, making our stay feel welcoming and stress-free. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with kids or just looking for a peaceful, comfortable retreat.

We stayed for a family Christmas get-together as the house was large enough to accommodate all of us. The area is very private and safe, and the view is wonderful. Given that we stayed in December, all of the leaves were off the trees which allowed for even more panoramic views from the bluff overlooking the Quincy Bay westward toward Missouri. Also, as a given during December, we were not able to utilize the screened-in porch. This would be a wonderful place to sit in the spring and fall, or if you were lucky enough to catch a cool, low humidity, summer evening. The location is on the north end of the city, so all entertainment and shopping is a drive into town, though not too far. The beautiful neighborhood would lend itself to nice walks, weather permitting. Penny is a great host, and was very responsive to us for questions we had during the stay. Overall, this is a great stay if you don't mind the price, or can share it with family or friends.

This was my second time staying here and it was as great as the first! So clean and well taken care of. Close to all my family and great restaurants/coffee shops. I’ll always book here if it’s available!

It is a wonderful old house. It has a bit of work to be done, but it is well worth the stay for the price point. If you have a bunch of people in town, you can get a great meal put together using the dishes and pans!

Michele was a great host and the Airbnb itself was great. Centralized in Quincy and extremely updated compared to the rest of the area. Would highly recommend staying here for a small group!

Beautiful historic home kept up with love. It was nice to stay there when visiting the Mark Twain history and be back in those days . The house was very clean and cozy. It’s close to Main Street.

Really clean place to stay

Conveniently located on the main thoroughfare in town close to multiple dining establishments and only a few minutes from downtown. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Nice and quiet with a reserved, covered parking spot. Will definitely stay there again.

Ashley’s place was warm and comfortable and very clean. It was easy to find and she provided excellent instructions for check-in and check-out. It was perfect for our needs. If I weren’t so busy, I could see myself relaxing by one of the windows reading a book and drinking a cup of coffee. Plenty of natural light.

Beautiful home. We stayed just under 2 weeks. The beds in the upstairs loft were cozy! The kitchen had everything needed to cook nightly for the family. Nice backyard for the dog to explore. My son loved hanging out in the basement! We would definitely stay again if we are in Quincy!

My family of four LOVED this historic house. Tall ceilings, original details throughout, pocket doors, original wood floors and a fireplace that we could use was nice. Plenty of space to choose from and loved the staircases going up. It’s a quirky old house that was a great find. The beds are very comfortable with cotton sheets! Very close to all the activities of town, walkable. Loved Java Jive coffee, food and friendly service. Everyone liked Rio Grande for dinner, local pottery, Stam chocolate shop and Clemons for cheese. Everything worked as it should… would stay again.

I was working night shift and needed to check in earlier. Audreihanna was more than accommodating so I could get some sleep. The house was cozy and chill. Super friendly and responsive host. One of my favorite host so far I would definitely recommend.

Another very comfortable stay at this home. The kitchen is particularly well-equipped. Comfortable beds. Accommodating owner ensured we had everything we needed. Highly recommended!
