It is said, “there is no place like home,” and I felt that while being in a home away from home. I met friends and what I feel to be family now. I felt safe while having great sleep at night, (especially on the nights when it rained.)This is because my every step was “well lit” if I ventured outside to do something as simple as taking out my trash. I was really amazed by my every step being “lit.” I met a friend and we would literally “run the streets” at night. I stayed for twenty-eight days this year and am looking forward to staying longer next January. I have “mastered” this west side of Barbados when the south coast used to be my favorite. And I shall reach out to Zachary when I am on my way back to my second home. Blessings!

Our stay over Christmas and New Year 2025 has been both relaxing and comfortable in Brian’s apartment at 212 Glitter Bay Susan our housekeeper has been as charming and the resort is a wonderful community with a friendly feel to the bar, beach and communal areas Ideal for a small Family or a couple coming down to Barbados with friends Apartment 212 is a great base and Brian has been a wonderful host. We loved sitting on the wonderful balcony, having coffee and watching the monkeys play in the morning. We will be back soon.

Absolutely perfect location and home! The villa was peaceful and quiet. Shared pool but no one else ever there, so like having your own. The villa was spacious super clean and comfy beds. Cannot fault at all and will be staying again! Location brilliant with easy access to beach. You do have use of hotel fairmont passes for sunbeds but we didn’t use these as like to use different beaches and also use local guys on the beach. Paul was great with communication and helped source some balloons for friend’s birthday. Loved our stay so thank you, this is simply a perfect villa in Barbados.

We stayed at Steven’s apartment for 10 days and had an amazing holiday (2 couples). The apartment was wonderful and just as described and there were lots of additional touches that were really thoughtful such as the Cool box and ice blocks and a couple of snorkels. The Sugar Hill complex was beautiful and peaceful. The pools were a lovely temperature (lit at night and open until 9pm) and grounds very well kept. We had a couple of lovely lunches at The Deck (Shrimp Pad Thai excellent!) and the rum punch during happy hour very good. We utilised the Fairmont beach club membership particularly to go and watch the sunsets but also travelled around the Island - which always felt friendly and safe. Kavell was super responsive when we had any questions. I had to do some work whilst out here so had to use the table on the balcony (only minor point was that there wasn’t an electric socket close by). It is an approx 20 min walk down the hill (via Store house Road) to the beach club.
