Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Poitou-Charentes

One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

Very pleasant stay with the family, we did not lack anything except the sun which was the only absent from our weekend! I recommend it!

We had an absolutely perfect long weekend! The sun was at the rendezvous, the house is superb, tastefully decorated and very well equipped, and the grounds are a real little piece of paradise. Special mention to our host, warm and welcoming, who immediately made us feel at ease. A place we treasure — thank you for a wonderful stay!

We were 2 couples + 1 child aged 7. Had a lovely weekend at Anna and Joy's house. We enjoyed the outdoors, the basketball hoop, the ping pong table and even the pool! It has everything you need in the house. We'll be back if we're in the area again.

We had a very special stay at Fleur and Carlos’s house. It is beautifully renovated with thoughtful details. It is very conveniently located close to the airport and Bergerac. We would recommend hiring a car rather than relying on taxis as they can be very expensive if you are a tourist!

Great communication from Noemie who was lovely, nice to hear about the history of the accommodation. It’s a cosy, good use of space and perfect for the one night stop over. The bed was super comfortable, making for a good nights sleep before travelling again.

We loved our stay in Saumur and the apartment was beautiful, had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. Our host was lovely, going above and beyond, and provided great recommendations + some very thoughtful touches. The location was fantastic - walking distance to everything - great restaurants and lovely to be a part of the local town. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Claude and Ginette are very welcoming and are adaptable for check in and check out times. We had a great time. They were very attentive to us and our 15 month old baby. The accommodation is less than 30 minutes from Beauval and you can walk around or in the garden.

We spent New Year's Eve in this very pretty cabin. The awakening was magnificent, a splendid sunrise over fields as far as the eye can see and beautifully frosted trees. Thanks to Luc and Anne for hosting us.

A very big thank you to Maud and Yohann for these two days spent in the Nantes vineyard. We had a barl 4 people (2 adults, 1 child 5 years old and 1 2 year old). The weather in April was superb, so we enjoyed the exteriors (multiple terraces, barbecue, outdoor showers, garden, animals etc.); a real break! With a small heater, no problem for the freshness of the April nights. Maud and Yohann welcomed us very warmly! We needed calm, to recharge as a couple, to disconnect and the goal is reached very handily. A beautiful place in nature with all the necessities. Ideal for couples or children from 6 years old. the "loft" having some "risk" areas for a child in the process of walking or under 5 years old. Bedding with remarkable comfort. I was apprehensive because no shutters or blackout curtains are sensitive to the brightness for sleeping. Well I managed to sleep until after 8am every day and no alarm clock because of the daylight. Quiet, beautiful colors, birdsong. We had a time out of time. Location quite correct. 15min to reach an intermarket hypermarket, 20min from the Gouffre de Proumayssac, 40min from Lascaux, La Roque gageac, Domme, Sarlat. A place we'll keep for our pleasure.

We had a pleasant stay with the family at the farm. The setting is ideal for relaxing, surrounded by animals , with the swimming pool and private jacuzzi we enjoyed. A big thank you to the owner for the delicate attention with the scented candle and the good fresh eggs.

We really enjoyed staying here! The mobile home is bright and cosy and warm. We loved the big windows and terrasse. It was peaceful and private and communication was easy, Alexandra was kind and let us check in early. We hope to return and spend longer there :)

We had a lovely stay, the Fortinerie campsite is a nice place in nature. Tina and her husband were welcoming and friendly. The tent has all the amenities and is tastefully decorated. The Jacuzzi is a really great plus! We recommend for an atypical experience
