I was in an amazing cottage, surrounded by nature and tranquility. The house is cozy, well equipped and with a rustic feel that makes it even more special. The owner was very attentive and made us feel right at home. The environment is perfect for disconnecting and exploring the surrounding area. An excellent experience that I will definitely repeat!

Sylvie and her family and the puppy, made us feel like friends. The garden was very secure for our dog, lots of lovely places to sit. A good walk for us could be found four minutes walk up the (quiet) road where there was a cycle path that took us into the town with its many amenities, including a lovely little bar and restaurant. Would certainly visit again. Sylvie was specially helpful with any request we made and even telephoned her vet to arrange the necessary paperwork for travelling back to UK with a dog. SO kind, .

Very good stay. Marc is very welcoming. the accommodation is very small and convenient. the outdoor setting is beautiful, my daughter loved the zipline. 20 min from Beauval i would highly recommend this place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the restored barn surrounded by trees snd gardens. The kitchen was very well equipped including a washer and dryer. This is a really lovely cottage in amongst the vines, and a wonderful pool, terrace, bbq... It was extremely hot for the first few days (over 38 degrees) and although the cottage wasn't air-conditioned, it was cool and there were plenty of fans. Emma was extremely helpful and suggested lots of local restaurants and activities which were all great. The cottage was well supplied with everything we needed - good for cooking, and I read from (and donated to) the great little library of books provided. The unexpected bonus was that her TV could access UK BBC live and we watched a LOT of the Olympics with UK commentary! Such a lovely holiday, thank you.

We spent 3 nights there with my husband and our 4-year-old son. The house is very well equipped, quiet and quite suitable for a child (high chair, children's dishes, games, toys and outdoor games). A big thank you to our host for all his explanations before our stay.

My time at Le Petite Chouette was utterly magical. I stayed for a month and fully recharged my soul in this peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Ania and Mark are so kind and attentive, and the gite has everything you could possible imagine for your comfort and well-being. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking, and my favorite part is the bed, as it was more comfortable than hotel beds with crisp fresh linens and even an electric blanket for a cozy night. I’ll never forget my peaceful evenings in front of the fire (thank you for generously supplying wood!) my long walks to chateau Lavauguyon and the village, excursions to Site de Peyrassoulat, my visits to the contemporary art and meteorite museums in Rochechouart, and my lovely chats with Ania, Mark, their sweet dogs, and the chickens! I am forever grateful for what this stay has done for my spirit! I highly recommend this place if you want deep rest!

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning place to unwind after 4 days in Paris. Great place for kids. The market on Thursday is super ideal. Cooked at home and had the best time.

Chateau Laplagnotte Bellevue was a perfect location. The views from every window were beautiful - all vineyard! It was a special treat to talk with Virginie - so knowledgeable about wines and growing grapes and the area. It is a very short drive in to St. Emilion as well as many chateaus nearby both small and large. I look forward to returning and staying longer. Two nights was just not enough!

We had a great stay of 3 days of family reunion with 14 adults and 7 children in this superb very warm and unusual accommodation. A quiet and friendly environment while being close to Bressuire with all amenities and activities. The house is extremely well equipped with everything you need. The bonus are the two dishwashers suitable for large groups It's also the children's home: a play paradise for all ages in vast spaces where they take care of at all times. Finally, Sophie and Jean-Marc are real great hosts , very attentive to your expectations. Responsive, you have all the answers to your questions to prepare for your stay. Amanda welcomed us in like family, and our time at her gîte was the highlight of our entire trip to the Loire Valley. My son woke up every morning excited to gather fresh eggs for our breakfast, and the nordic bath was hot for us every night. Amanda went out of her way to make us feel welcomed, and we left saying "see you soon" instead of "goodbye." I cannot recommend this place higher.

Lovely hosts in a lovely part of the world. If you are looking for peace and quiet - WOW. The experience of the vineyards is only interrupted by frogs and the occasional windy day.

What can we say about our night at Régis and Candice's... great and great! We came with our 9-year-old twins and it was a magical moment for them. For 2 hours Régis introduced us to all his animals, alpacas, dogs, chickens, donkeys, goats Brad and Pitt and the Tornado pony. We were able to feed the animals. The trailer was great, everything is decorated in alpaca up to the duvet cover! And the bedding is extremely cosy. We feel so good there that we couldn't leave at the scheduled time the next morning! We dragged and talked with Régis and Candice. And don't forget breakfast with the warm homemade bun! In short, I can only recommend this place a thousand times if you love animals and tranquility and warm welcome. Thanks again! We'll be back for sure!

Everything was perfect during our stay. Flawless accommodation, very well-equipped and very pleasant. really nice to be able to observe the cows, and say hello to the other animals, Very informative farm tour with Anne. the spa to relax... In addition, Anne is very responsive and super nice. It's all there! I'd love to come back.
