Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Poitou-Charentes

The gite is as described. We particularly appreciated the location close to the futuroscope and the very quiet environment after our 2 days at the park. Chantal was extremely kind and considerate.

Le Vignaud is a stunning historical property with loads of space for a large group like ours (8 adults and 5 children). You can walk to the village shops and discover shady walks in the nearby arboretum. The pool was a great hit for the children during the hot weather and there is plenty of outdoor space. The kitchen is superbly equipped with two dishwashers and a separate utility room. The Parc Reynou zoo is really worth a visit.

Spacious, well-equipped and impeccable cottage with neat architecture and decoration. The natural setting is really relaxing and the pool is super nice. Gerard and his wife are lovely people. We'll be back!

The house was ideal for our family holiday - five adults and four young children. The children enjoyed playing in the large garden and the adults enjoyed the use of the jacuzzi and sauna. On chilly evenings the fireplace was very welcome, with a plentiful supply of firewood. The hosts were lovely, easy to contact, were available for most of our stay and helped when our car tyre needed some air. We visited many of the châteaux in the area - Chateaux de Langeais, Ussé, Chenonceau and Azay le Rideau. We spent a full day at Center Parcs Les Bois des Daims - only 50 minutes drive. Wine tasting in Huismes - Chinon AOC. The house was overall very comfortable, spacious and generally clean, although we were surprised to find that bathroom cleaning products had not been provided and so had to shop for our own. Perhaps this was an oversight as we were early in the season. Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful place, very well located for many of the main sites in the Touraine region.

our hosts welcomed us warmly, in a charming and neat home in a peaceful setting. they were attentive and made available to our families. the meals offered and breakfast breakfast were quality and well presented. We have excellent memories of these shared moments at their property. We highly recommend these hosts and is located less than 10 minutes from the zoo.

A fantastic, homely place with lots of charm and everything you need for a relaxing stay. We stayed for two nights but it could easily have been for longer as we felt very welcome and loved exploring the area.

We were 4 adults and 4 children. The house has a great layout for 2 families. The garden with pool was perfect for everyone and the kids used the play barn daily. Josè is a great host who is always friendly and helpful. Despite the fact that he lives on the property, you feel like you are alone on the farm and if you have questions, he is on site. So perfect We will certainly come back to the beautiful farm or to Josè's beautiful house.

This is the second time we have stayed at this site. And we will be back. Such a beautiful location and we really needed a break. We didn’t see anyone else for the two days and we just relaxed. Perfect!

Really good option just outside chenonceaux. Would be nice to have bikes or a car to see the most of the area. Place was charming, everything was good!

Corine and André are very sweet and hospitable. We felt very much at home and I'd like to come back. André told us a lot and showed us around the castle where they live. By the pool it was very quiet and you are equipped with everything. Sunbeds and umbrellas are provided. Furthermore, we also enjoyed the donkeys, beavers, ducks and the dogs of Corine and André. Actually everything was just perfect! The area was also beautiful, you can visit vineyards or a day to Bordeaux/beach. You'll really settle down here. Thank you again for this pleasant stay!
